Just stumbled across your site, Great to have a site close to a city, and you get to sample the local ales! Perfect! New Sub, and looking forward to more video..Rich
Thank you Rich and welcome to our channel 🥰 York was such a nice site and the location is perfect, highly recommended 👍😊 Thank you for subscribing and we have lots more content coming soon including our first trip to Europe in the van 👌
Good to see you back fellas, looks a nice place. Always wanted to go to York never been yet, had the opportunity of going to Law School in York or Chester, chose Chester 30 odd years ago, legendary Ring oBells, Christleton, I’m sure you know it?! ;-)
Thank you Mark 🥰 Yes York is actually very similar to Chester and well worth a visit, the link to chocolate is great too and you can get some really great stuff 👌 Ring O’Bells yes we do 😁 Although never actually eaten there, we pick up the canal at Christleton to cycle into the city centre along the tow path so the pubs there are a good starting or finishing point 😉
"You Are Here" ... and its fantastic to see the 3 of you again ... I/we have missed you immensely. Looking forward to next Friday and you next video already. Great tour guide video, great fish and chip review, great beer review.
Aw thank you Roger that's so lovely 🥰 We are very glad to be back, making videos and traveling is a great distraction and thank you for your lovely comments 😁
Ha ha 😂 Thank you Dave, that was actually - the plan great shout 😁 But we couldn’t find the last 2 😬 Also we couldn’t film one of them as Iain had to help a lady out who had got stuck in the chair 😂 Caroline refused to sit in them after that 😊 Thanks for watching 🥰
Aw that’s great thank you Tracy and hope you have a lovely time - the wardens Jules and Mark were lovely, they really helped us out 🥰 Ozzy will love it, lots of parks and open spaces for a City all within easy walking distance 😊👍
We really enjoyed this tour around York. It did take the wind out of my sails a bit though as I thought you’d gone to York just for myself earlier.😂 Quick fact about giant Deck chairs. I once sat in the same giant deckchair as Shane Richie. I didn’t realise that BrewDog did food as well as beer. Sounds like an ideal place if you can get pizza and beer. Also before I forget love the fact that Caroline‘s nails match her hoodie 👍🏻 Great to have you guys back 😊
Aw thank you both and hope David had a lovely birthday 🥳 Super impressed by Clare, amazing thoughtful idea with the messages ❤️ Ha ha don’t worry the station visit was genuinely just for you, when we were looking at the map of York before going out we looked for something David would like, it jumped out the page 🚂 😂 Caroline is very pleased you noticed her nails too 😂😂😂👍
Hi Ian and Caroline perfect site for a city break would never have imagined it was so close to the centre of York good to know and dog friendly pubs a must 👌🏻
We know you guys have been through some desperately sad times recently but it’s great to have you back. Your vlogs brighten a Friday evening and set the tone for the weekend. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Aw thank you John, that’s so lovely and really made us smile 🥰 It was good to be back in the van and making the videos was a welcome distraction, once we’d remembered what to do 😂 We have some exciting travel plans coming up soon too 👍😊
Thank you both 🥰 Great excuse to visit York visiting your family 👌 We definitely would return to this site as it’s so close to the centre too. The beers were good, definitely need to pay a visit to the brewery and the one that surprised the most was actually the stout, sometimes they can be too dark and heavy but this one has lots of flavour 👍 Have a lovely weekend and thanks for watching 😊
Hi Iain and Caroline, it’s a fantastic site - the walk to the right as you come of the entrance of the site is brilliant - last time we were there in March (I think) it was frosty in the morning and was beautiful. Such a shame they don’t let dogs on the walls isn’t it. Great they were friendly with dogs in Brewdog - fab tip. Fish and chips looked good - hope it tasted good too! Great beer selection too. The ghost tour is good fun and interesting if you get chance to do that. Can’t beat the location can you - all the best, David, Rachel & Roxy 🐾
Thank you, yes it’s such a great site for location and that river walk is gorgeous. In fact the first morning we were up really early and had a walk, ended up out for an hour it was so nice 😂 Frosty would be lovely, we will have to return when it’s colder thank you. Really wanted to do the ghost tour, it looked brilliant but Caroline isn’t so keen, she is easily spooked 😂 The beers were very good and so were the fish and chips, the shop was just outside the campsite too 👍😁 Have a lovely weekend 🥰
A great site, we were there in January and it was fantastic even on an early morning dog walk in the mist. Not an easy site to get a booking either but well worth the wait. Shame so many places aren't dog friendly like the wall, we have to plan our trips carefully too. Love the goose that clearly wasn't impressed with Mollie but Mollie was so well behaved. Wouldn't be a Vantastic adventure without a beer to 2😂😂. Anyway great to see you back on the road after what must have been a difficult time. Take care and safe travels 👍👍
Thank you Tim, that’s very kind 🥰 yes being back in the van was a welcome distraction and also making videos again 😊 It’s such a lovely site and location, can see why it’s so popular. Misty January sounds perfect, we will have to return in winter thanks for the tip, love walking like that when not many people around 👌 Not sure Mollie knew what to make of the geese, they were everywhere 😂
It's such a lovely place isn't it? So easy to access York and lovely setting next to the river plus some great little shops and bars nearby - can see why it's so popular 🥰
@@VantasticAdventures it’s awesome, loving your channel, giving me loads of places to visit, not forgetting the beers to try. Look forward to the next instalment 😀
Difficult site to get on but great location by the park. Unfortunately our dog hates crowded streets so we couldn’t make the most of our last visit. Really enjoyed your video and can’t make up my mind whether the fish & chips or hot chocolate was best 😉
That’s a tough one Ann 😂 Iain prefers the fish and chips and Caroline the chocolate but that doesn’t really help 😂 Mollie can sometimes be wary in crowds too but she was okay in York except with the hen party’s 😬 We try to stay around the parks and open spaces which there are plenty in York, shame they are not allowed on the walls. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Thank you for sharing this. We have always wondered if this site was worth the long journey from South Wales but it looks great. Its fantastic you can get into the city so quickly. Really enjoyed the video! 👏👏😍😍
Thank you very much 🥰 Definitely worth the travel and the twins would love it, right in the City and a brilliant play park literally next door in Rowntree Park 😁👍
Cheers you two, good to know that the campsite is so close to the centre of York we've been meaning to take a wee trip doon tae York for years and on a personal note I was glad Ian didny launch in tae a Mel Gibson freedom shout 🤣🤣🤣 Dunk fae Oot n aboot wi us 🏴
😂😂😂 It was close, they weren’t so keen on the Scots 🏴 😁 Thank you, yes it’s a cracking site right in the city, highly recommended if you venture down to York 👍 Hope your getting oot plenty this year too 😊
Aw sorry to hear that, hope you can get out soon 🥰 Will try and bring you more travel content soon so hopefully give you some ideas when you are able to travel again 😁👍
Hey Faisal great spot we were indeed 😊👍 We also used the A7C for parts too later in the video but switched back to the ZV-1 for the ending, it's a great grab and go camera for vlogging. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment ☺️
Who did you bride to get a space on that site :-) :-) York is fantastic, been loads of times as its only a 45 minute drive from us. We are going to the Barbican centre to see Marillion in September, can't wait :-) Was hoping to book there and stay over but as we still don't have our van yet......... :-( and anyway its full !!! So unfortunately will have to stay in a lovely hotel somewhere, what a shame :-) :-) Great to see you both back, and of course Mollie :-) Take care both of you :-)
Thank you both, and of course Tyler 🐶 🥰 It's a really great site and a brilliant location but you are spot on we were so lucky to get a pitch, there is a story behind it 😂 Your trip in September sounds brill, bet you can't wait! 😁👍
When l lived in York l worked very close to the park and would often chill there and dodge the Canadian geese or what ever they we called that seemed ever where, Good days
Yes we'll remembered Hindle, they are Canada Geese and very noisy in the morning on the roof of our van 😂 It's such a beautiful park can see why you liked it, thank you for watching 🥰

Smashing video guy’s. Really did expect a montage at the end of all ten deck chairs 👍
