I had been doing very similar testing with the spear when it came out, and I found some fun and unique interactions with the winch too
If you grapple something like a vault and right click as it's getting to you, it'll be flung straight off of your head with a good amount of accuracy and force
If you're winching a player in and cancel the end of it with a heavy attack, they get thrown behind you and keep their momentum, making it great at sending people off of the map

recently trying out the spear with the hook. Had tons of fun when I pull them in, melee & three normal spear hit. Medium stand to chance. If I encounter a heavy then I'll hit him with the RPG first then do the pull. Shat myself a couple of time when I pull in a heavy with a shotgun.

You can move any light object with the right click, even cashout satiations , locked vaults, and debris

u can also emote cancel into specialization. For instance, cancel into charge n slam, mesh shield or winch claw allow for guarenteeing kills or just improving utility
yep, i also tested it aswell, thats for a pt3 that im making about using the mesh shield and some other stuff :)
I’m going to try and put a mine on some canister and perhaps get a golfing kill like that. I’ll let you know how it goes

I didn’t expect Spear to be more fun than Dual Katanas because I wished for such a weapon for so long - deflect is a thing after all! I mean it’s cool and all, but Spear is just pure fun.
That being said, after quite some time playing with Spear, I noticed that it’s not quite reliable, at least with the secondary attack. Maybe I’m not utilizing it properly, but quite often I just missed all my shots when the animation did hit the enemy.
Anyway, you can move cashouts and vaults with it. It’s instant classic right there, lmao.
yea spear is a little bugged rn with the hitbox, normally it will follow the pattern as shown but sometimes it just doesnt hit an enemy
Is it necessary to aim with heavy attack or just aiming the ground is fine. nice vid btw!
its best to aim at all times so you can control the direction incase a light dashes away and back or for similar situations where they are moving

dunno tbh, it doesnt seem like something that is overpowered to be considered an exploit imo and no one complains about it so far. also guns are just so much more powerful
@@sharkbaII I see where you are coming from, but as someone who frequently use sword, I think it’s a bit unfair that light player can’t perform emote cancelling (ec), while heavy can
In fact, most of the light mains I know are pretty upset that light get nerfed frequently (spec + gadgets), while heavy rarely get any (especially Charge’n’Slam, a big headache for light Melee main)
But again, spear EC seems more inefficient compared to sword EC

Hammer existence, 1 vs 1 guaranteed loss if they success land Heavy attack
Also hammer heavy attack have same range with Spear lol

Take this as seriously as you want, but if you want to laugh at me, I'll have the last laugh when you're perma-banned from the game for abusing bugs.
i mean if this is the case there will be plenty bans to other very good players who use this with 100k views which i wont name ofc, an appeal to embark is very easy. wont be any last laugh for anyone to have to be fair so ill just leave it at that LOL

Sounds like they need to fix the game
They could very easily have disabled emotes entirely during it, I doubt people will be banned for it. It doesn’t break the weapon like emote canceling sword did
