I listen to this album damn near every fucking day. I remember when YOTM came out I hadn't listened to LMTF since When We Don't Exist came out. I liked the album, obviously the bangers like GNF Worst in Me and Your Existence but they never truly "clicked" with me. But after hearing No Eternity in Gold, this EP and going back to listen to their albums again I'm a *HUGE* fan of theirs now. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to them. At work I'll have their albums playing on repeat lol.
Same. Pure Like Porcelain is just incredible. After they came back with No Eternity in Gold I was ecstatic they were back. Can't forget about about Basilisk/Inherit the Tragedy too!
Porcelain is a clay like substance that has a pure white appearance, commonly used in decorations and dishware. It is resistant to pressure and heat but can be chipped and broken easily. I take the meaning of the title to be literal tbh but given the bitterness (and apparent desire to heal from it) in the general lyricism it seems like there is a lot of regret here. Just my thoughts
