"Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas with urushi lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy it treats the breakage and repair as part of the history, rather than something to disguise."
I just wish the mix was better. The mix on these first 3 songs hasn't been great. Not sure if someone different mixed/mastered this album but it leaves something to be desired.
these are definitely some of their most emotional and best songs in my opinion. but i also gotta add The Skeletons I Keep, do not Resuscitate, The Common Misconception, whats killing underneath, Wither, and my favorite Fluorescent White. Now Kintsugi is on that list, top 5 for sure 🔥🔥🔥
“I can barely hold on to anyone or anything… when it always breaks.” Just absolutely beautifully written melancholic lyrics in this one. LMTF is god tier
Metalcore fans eating good this year, LMTF, seeyouspacecowboy..., Northlane, Thornhill, Boundaries, Knocked Loose, The Plot in You, and more all dropping within a month is fucking insane.
Man these guys really don’t miss. Through all the lineup changes, different genres they touched on, and everything in between, one of the most consistent bands as far as material I’ve ever heard.
Been with the moths since the beggining , its cliche when people say how "music has helped my life" but i was ina dark place for awhile and theyve helped me out of it. Love you guys ! Thanks for making your music , and continuing to make it. Best band ive had the pleasure of listening to . This is gonna be 1 banger of an album and i can't wait till it drops.
I'm absolutly fascinated by Kintsugi since the newest Holding Absence album. It's interesting to see how everyone interprets this theme differently. Beautiful song!
Seriously? Another metal band sounding better and better. I can't keep up with all the amazing bands out there. Lol. I love this. 2024 is shaping up to be an amazing year for new music.
@@mvmhunterkiller Just giving my recommendations - Northlane, Invent Animate, Polaris, Johnny Booth, Resolve, Thrown, Monuments, Deadlights, Imminence, Landmvrks, Revnoir, Avralize, Vola. I personally like their sound evolution, but to each their own of course.
@@someone-lx2ye cheers, I'll check them out although I've only just recently listened to Polaris music but Imminence is awesome, I got into their music about a year ago and absolutely love it.
Another thing that sounds incredible with LMTF besides the angry songs are the emotional songs, they end up being so beautiful. I'm Japanese, whenever a band names the song with a Japanese word it makes me even more interested in the song, so far they're all amazing 😊
This band has meant the world to me for so many years. Every album is worth the world to me, every lyric from Chris is how I've always ever felt. Always evolving yet giving using the moth effects we've loved since album one. This new song hits so hard, so excited for the new album. This band will always be my favorite. Moth forever.
Alot of respect for LMTF. They could've easily copped out and dropped some stupid fucking pop bass beats and dropped the instruments out, but they didn't. Kept it real and metal the whole way through. Well fucking done guys.
Moths deserves SOOOO MUCH more attention than what they got, they don’t have a single bad track, and they have been around for YEARS, this album is gonna be a BANGER
"When it breaks, what piece am I left with?" The emotion in the lyrics of this song are powerful. Instrumentally dope too. I wish I could play this song on guitar it's brilliant.
I can't even begin to say anything... 😭 ❤🔥 this songs connects to me and reaches my deepest emotions thank you so much I feel this song everytime I listen to it as if it was for me to listen to it. Thank you so much for this one.
Thank you for writing this song. I can't begin to describe how much this song means to me. To anyone that needs to hear this, know that even though you are broken that the pieces can make something beautiful. Please don't give up and that life is worth fighting for. Thank you LMYF, this song gave me the strength to fight in a time when there was almost nothing left.
this is the sound and mixing that LMTF deserve. the last record mix ruin everything about how magic this band is. this is pure fucking fire, this is pure fucking chris, another fucking banger. LMTF forever.
Like Moths To Flames' new album slaps SO F'IN HARD. Thank you guys, you've been the soundtrack of my last few months, and they have been really rough, to say the least.
This is their best song in years and that's saying something because I love every song LMTF has ever put out with all my heart! Dark divine is their best album! True masterpiece! Keep it the fuck up!!
Man....i don't know how LMTF can keep getting better. Banger after banger tracks released, this album is set to be the best they have written. Im so excited for more to come!!
DUDE YES! Love the more emotional side of this band. I was also really hoping they wouldn't go for verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown, and i'm SO happy they mixed the structure up. I am so instanely stoked for this album >:)
And here I thought that Nowhere Left To Sink hit the feels hard 🥲 love the new song, LMTF keeps on getting better 🤘🏻🔥💜 also: I love the artform Kintsugi!
year of the moth!

Always is. 🔥
This band consistently keeps getting better!
I just wish the mix was better. The mix on these first 3 songs hasn't been great. Not sure if someone different mixed/mastered this album but it leaves something to be desired.
Not heavy enough
the fact they just get better with every release is astonishing. Truly masters of their craft.
Emotionally hits hard as Nowhere Left to Sink, Smoke and Mirrors, and Bury Your Pain
these are definitely some of their most emotional and best songs in my opinion. but i also gotta add The Skeletons I Keep, do not Resuscitate, The Common Misconception, whats killing underneath, Wither, and my favorite Fluorescent White. Now Kintsugi is on that list, top 5 for sure 🔥🔥🔥

Wither is a good one too ☝️
This one gave me the same vibes as Empty the Same, which is another great one.

too close to touch as well, best year in a while and we're only in march
Don’t forget Kaonashi and Alpha Wolf
Nah chief take Thornhill off the list they are Garbo. Seen them live and they are even worse than I could have ever imagined.
What a cool song! I’m Japanese and had never thought I would see the word ‘金継ぎ’ here. Now that I have known of them, I will listen to their songs.
Everyone of their songs slaps and they’re from Ohio!!!!!!! My boys
Chris is super nice and sells his own merch after shows not many ppl do that
You're in for a treat!
What does Kintsugi mean ?
@@richardgoodson8371 金継ぎ is a method to repair broken potteries. 金 (kin) means gold and 継ぎ (tsugi) means connecting.

Yes and don’t take over 5 years for a song to be put out like blessthefall just did
@@zacharywilliams3631i think blessthefall wasn't a band for a bit of that. Like they decided to start making music again
As long as they keep Chris involved, they'll be relevant 😮😮😮
I've never heard Chris release a bad song in any band he's been in
havent they only lost a drummer or something for the last few years?
My favorite track since the Pure Like Porcelain EP.
I really love the Dark Divine vibes combined with the new sound.
This guy gets it!

THE VOCAL CHRIS!!! THE VOCALS!
Y’all created such a beautiful experience with this one. That chorus hasn’t left my head in days 🙏🖤

Someone else said that for "over the garden wall." Maybe they're both the best?
This band never misses. It’s like Chris has my brain and is just writing music with it
It's the Demon of my own from the next album, I'm all for it.
but like 10x better, its more comparable to nowhere left to sink from the next album imo
A perfect release to accompany the last two tracks
Saw this in my feed RIGHT after I started working on a concept for a kintsugi blackout sleeve for my right arm. Sick timing
My #1 on this album for sure! One of the best songs they've ever made 🤟
