Yeah. It wasn't until later that I realized that. I even tried to look into it by just finding a description of the book. Sadly the recruit addition is at my friend's house so I didn't get to just pick it up and check it out. Still though, recruit box still seems to be the best bang for the buck for boxes that are still on the market.
Thank you so so much for this. I've been struggling to understand the books and which versions I need to play and what the hell has been happening with all the box sets and expansion. This lets me start to wrap my head around it
Great video, just worth pointing out you don’t get the full rules for VG and kommandos in the starter set. Just their data cards and some other missions
I'm still waiting for the day that GW leaves their outdated method providing rules and goes digital, where balance patches can actually be applied to the rules. They have reduced the amount of models required for a game but I feel like the rule/book bloat is same as in 40k
cool video and good break down on what is needed to play. I'm still learning how to play the game. The core rules seem easy enough. It's learning how to use the teams where it can get a bit messy. Keep up the awesome job!
Hi Kimerex! I'm a complete new player and would you recommend waiting for the new Salvation box + new terrains or just buy the Into The Dark box? Thank you so much! 🙏
Honestly it really is at a "buy what you want/can" point. Balance-wise teams from all over seem to podium at events. If you feel the play style of the upcoming teams might fit you, try to snag them. Probably more speed. More units. But definitely look around and see what might fit a style you want to play.
@@KimerexProjekt I see! Thank you so much for the suggestion! I think I’ll prolly get the new one since Striking Scorpions look cooler than Breachers and Kroots! 🙏
I said to my buddy the other day that I would love to get into Kill Team if it wasnt so expensive. He responded with "says the MTG player" as we were sitting in our LGS playing Commander
Thank you so much for this video and the others in this playlist, yours is the most current and I am a new kill team player along with a few friends and it's all a little daunting, we have not played 40K before
Um, Octarius rules for teams are not in the recruit edition.

Fantastic as always!
Thank you for putting this together 😊👍🏻🍺

Theres always tabletop simulator to start and see if you like it.
@@19skiper89 thanks. I'll look one up
How to "boarder action"
How to "30k"
How to "Crusade"
How to "Create Narrative"
So on so forth 😉
Still a lot more to go on the KT how to before that. Maybe 40k after the new rules drop.
