The thing I like about AMD is the gaming suite. By pressing alt and r, you get so many options. Pressing ctrl. Shift and o, you get the performance overlay so I don't even bother with afterburner. You can tune and over or underclock the card from it. Brilliant.
@@elvertmack5039 No. He will get around the same fps. You will see when he test it. For example if you check zwormz test of this card in this game he gets around 100 fps, BUT he didnt put the most intensive setting "ssr reflections" to psycho, and it wasnt raining in his gameplay at all.
@amdwarrior ok....gotcha...but the difference is...I have both...a 7900xtx and a 4080..don't have a 7900xt...so I can't speak on that...and I have the 13700k and not the 7800x3d...and I get about 120 fps at 1440p with a 4080 with no upscaleing or anything.
@amdwarrior frogboy already did with the 4080s...he tested it first before he did the 7900xt....it's up...and look at those frames compared to the 7900xt.
Dude! Wow. I think you may have saved me £200 or more. I’m running a 2070 super and am about to build a new rig. Was STUCK between the 4070ti super and the amd 7950xt. Your video viewed on an iPhone here really helped. Overall it’s the textures and the colours and the overall VIBE I’m after and the amd 7900xt is currently retailing in the uk at 599 cheapest. Compared to the 4070 ti at just over 800. Looking at your video. The slight difference when actually experiencing the game is not worth the difference. Thank you man. Honestly.
You should try hardware unboxed optimised settings, granted it's tested on PL but it works the same for the base game. Gave me extra FPS with minimal (tbh can't tell the difference) visual quality XD
yeah, seeing all those "ultra" settings knowing they are mostly useless is just giving up free fps. i'm on a 7800xt using HBU settings at 1440p and capping my fps at 140 in the settings. i hover around 130+ most of the time
Just ordered a Sapphire Pulse RX 7900 XT for 600$. At this point Im sure most bugs and problems have been ironed out with updates on this GPU since the 8K series is about to drop. 600 bucks for a 7900xt is also too good of a deal. Hopefully its not a dud.
Hey man, very nice video but I have one question you didn't mention in the video, were there any adjustments made to both the cpu and gpu? Are they stock settings?
Better just disable raytracing crap if you want more fps, followed by shadows if you still need more fps and then other setting leaving at the end the upscaling.
Last time I tried AFMF it was pointless. Yeah the fps was pretty much double when looking around but in motion it goes back to normal. I just don't see the point in using that.
It’s quite good now no longer dips when moving or looking around but any implementation for AMD is poor on CD project Red as they are NVidia schills🤷♂️. They make cool games but NVidia has them in the pocket
Thank you for these videos! Would it be possible to also show your junction/hotspot GPU temperatures as well in the overlay? I just want to compare to mine as my deltas are pretty wild sometimes.
Optimizing settings is something I'd like to see people do more. There are plenty of settings that doesn't really do anything too noticable, and can be tuned down for more fps. But I really appreciate your work here! I think I watched another video from you before and they are really good. Thank you for these tests.
Hi u should try rdna 3 optimisation path tracing mod coupled with fsr 3 dlss enabler mod. Made path tracing work like a charm on xtx. 1440p ultra graphics plus path tracing fsr 3 quality + frame gen 90-100 fps. In dog town i felt some hickups but im on am4.
adjusting the curve in MSI afterburner ... I also keep it at values up to 65 °C in every game and it's not even noisy. For 14,700k, I have NZXT also up to 60-65 °C
Everyone has always acted like Nvidia's 80 class cards are so much better than anything AMD has. I know for a fact since the 480 8g.... that has not been true. And I pay significantly less for AMD for a longer lasting good experience. 1080 is the only medal for Nvidia and it's because they needed a hail mary to really make people feel Nvidia had the gaming crown
I played this on my 4090 with Path Tracing at 4K and it's honestly like an entire different experience! Love this game, in my top 5 of all time. Also, can the 7900XT do path tracing? Or is that NVIDIA only?
man.. can literally nothing run this game at 144 fps at 1440p Ultra? 1440p monitors are higher Hz than freaking 80, so let me use them!! That would be the ultimate cyberpunk experience, and noone can experience it..
After playing latest games with tons of detail and great textures CP 2077 starts to show its age.. I owned 5700x and in this game it would drop from 70, 80 to 50 fps in crowded places. With 5800x3d those drops are minimal and i think thats the biggest upgrade from x3d in this game, areas with lots of NCPs. Also fps is much more smoother while driving..
The best looking game to this day. Its just way to demanding. Especially on the amd gpus. Edit- you turned on rt and at 1440p your at 40 on standard rt damn Path tracing you can look but cannot absolutely play this on a 7900xt...sorry man this is just not good bro 🤣😅😅

@@Frogboyx1gaming you do realize a product price is what the market is willing to pay. You and I spent alot on the 4080 true but that is what the market has priced it. Nice. I bet 4080s only 10% faster at native 1440p without rt, which is ridiculous.
????....that's a 7900xt....not xtx. A 4080 with no rt will net you 120 frames in pure performance. How is the xt close to a 4080?

why does XESS look so fuzzy?
Because it is. Xess is only good for intel gpus where its hardware accelerated.
