Longplay of game SD The Great Battle, from Super Famicon (japanese SNES), is a platform game with aerial view originally released by Banpresto and Namco Bandai Games (formerly Bandai) exclusively in Japan that began in 1990 and is a part to The Compati Hero Series (in japanese "Konpachi Hiro Shirizu") that serves as crossover between ULTRAMAN, KAMEN RIDER (also known as Masked Rider) and GUNDAM. It was the first video game series to involve a crossover between animated giant robots and live action tokusatsu heroes from different established franchises. The series makes this possible by using caricaturized versions of the characters (officially referred as "SD" or "Super Deformed" characters), which allowed the different heroes and villains to co-exist and interact with each other without the need to reconcile their contrasting styles and settings. Is a very good game, with good SD graphics and the musical theme of each hero when you're playing.

lol, of course they had the floating continents move in the air just to show off the Mode 7 graphics mode of the SNES.

Bandai intended to release SD The Great Battle in the US, calling it simply "The Great Battle". The July 1991 issue of Nintendo Power shows a screenshot of the game in their list of Super NES games, but makes no claim that it would be released in North America (it listed the game under its Japanese title). This title was in the April 1992 issue of Gamepro in a listing of games shown at the 1992 Winter CES, which stated the final name of the game was not decided. It stated that it would be released in June 1992. The game was far enough along that box art was distributed. Does anyone have this game translated in the U.S. in English (Licensed by Nintendo version)?

If a prototype exists, no one's come out with it yet.

It's interesting that they even wanted to release the game there. Ultraman did appear in the US with "Ultraman: Towards the future", but Kamen Rider and Gundam have yet to debut there by the time the game would've been released.

Not really, is not bad but is obviously made for little kids: too simple, too easy and too short
