മനുഷ്യനോളം വിലയുണ്ടോ ഇല്ലയോ എന്നുള്ളതല്ല. മറിച്ചു, മനുഷ്യന്റെ ജീവനും സ്വത്തിനും മൃഗങ്ങൾ ഉപദ്രവമുണ്ടാക്കാതെ നോക്കുക എന്നുള്ളതാണ് ഒരു സർക്കാരിന്റെ കടമ. ഒപ്പം wildlife protection ഉണ്ടാവണം. illegal hunting & deforestation തടഞ്ഞു മൃഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ജനസംഖ്യാഅനുപാതത്തിൽ സംരക്ഷണം നൽകണം. അല്ലാതെ ചില വിവരമില്ലാത്ത വികാരജീവി മൃഗസ്നേഹികളുടെയും യുക്തിയില്ലാത്ത നിയമങ്ങളുടെയും പേരിൽ man-animal conflict വർധിക്കുന്നത് കയ്യുംകെട്ടി നോക്കിയിരിക്കുക അല്ല വേണ്ടത്.

All animals, which are domesticated always undergo some amount of TORTURE.
But elephants are relatively less hurt compared to buffalo, cow, goats, fouls etc. Because they are getting brutally killed for dishes.
According to Vedas Bhramana means the wisest man.
Gau means all domesticated animals. Once an animal is domesticated and used by man,he is obligated to that animal and must be protected by him. That is the customs prevailed among settlers.
Giving food to wild animals is considered as a gesture of compassion and respect to the nature.
So any such gesture shown by Indians are culturally oriented,unlike the gestures of many propagating religions.
