Great job brother. Top notch review as always and glad some people still give honest reviews. Too many “pro staff” out there flooding reviews and videos with obviously biased reviews and snowballing the consumer.
Can't thank you enough for reviews like this. When I read reviews, I don't need to read 17k 5-star reviews about why it's awesome. I want to read why it's not. I'm following the bs on the FB pages too, keep doing what you're doing brother.
I really appreciate your reviews. Honesty is always the best when it comes to reviews. I am also a bigger guy and so glad I found your channel now couple of years ago. Keep up the great work.
I was super pumped for this when I seen Cody testing an Osprey pack/frame. I really wanted it for the bladder compatibility feature. But the more I seen clips and photos of it things started turning me off from it. Most were the things you mentioned. I went with TX5 and am so glad I did !!
The Tx5 system is just hands down better in every aspect, other than the price. It should be interesting what LWCG brings to the table they told me they were taking there time to test throughly before releasing it.
I am too. The osprey pack he had chopped up to test was one of the most comfortable packs I’ve had on in the past. And I really like made in the USA. I’m running a Novix Helo (also because of your channel) with a new tx5 minimalist saddle and still want a .5 for a hybrid setup.
Glad to see this. I was already very ehh about it at the price point and being in the 260 range myself the opening bit told me all i needed to know. I really like the molle system on the back and i like the idea of a pad between my back and the aluminum grate that is the platform as well as the hip pockets for straps but at the same time if I'm buying a super lightweight stand I'm not looking to add 2# to it while I'm trying to strap it to a tree. In my mind that defeats the whole purpose, if I'm going to be standing on sticks and hanging a roughly 10 pound stand, i will just use one if the cast aluminum stands.
XOP really corrected thier pricing- at time of this video it was $120 and you noted you would love to see it at $75. Well its $50 now and discount codes everywhere for 15% off that!
Man, I was seriously going to pull the trigger on this rig to use for my hunting season this year (saddle hunting). I'm only 5' 6" but after your honest review, I'm just going to get the predator XL and the straps. Still under what this would cost with shipping to me. Thanks for the honest review sir.
@Michigan Great Outdoors for the price they have on this, I could add on 30 dollars and get a bandit. Just not really something that looks as appealing in its current form
I found out today that this was made in Vietnam. I didnt mention but I should have that the stiching was superb. I didnt notice any mis stitches or bad stiches. I always tell it how I see it. Got that from my Grandpa, at the end of the day xop will improve this based on my feedback. They need people to tell them how it is to get better. Unfortunately, they have zero pro staff that will do that.
Great job brother. Was thinking about a hybrid system this season. Watching your videos so far i am holding off to see what else comes out. Have you heard anything about lone wolf coming out with a climber foot system for saddle hunting. Keep up the great work.
Love it my guy..I had zero interest in this system but support your videos…and this right here is exactly why.. that intro guy. 😂 had me rollin… you big ogre 👹
It looks like people designing mobile Hunter set ups that don't really know shit about the needs of the mobile Hunter. Some of my spots, I walk in for miles, I don't want so many straps to contend with that I look like walking pom poms. comfortable, fast attachment/detachment, and quiet, Ninja Quiet. Really sick of the Gimmick crowd pouring over priced, Hyped out crap into mobile Hunting, over a Hundred dollars for that foreign made BS with cheap plastic buckles & thin strap webbing, like comparing the xop vanish to the cold world? Cold worlds 3 pound reduction, and extra adjustment setting accounts for more than double the vanish price, 2 xop vanish stands & 10 dollars left over for the cost of 1 cold world that's 3 pounds lighter. The same stand with 1 more adjustment slot & 3 pounds less platform for an additional $230.00. Then there's all the weight reduction climbing stick gimmicks, many of which not only suck but are really dangerous for the users, especially Bigger Guys, they can kick out & snap back so you land on them with your groin or rib cage in a 10th of a second. I use a light weight heavy duty hook that slides on the tip of a 4---12' extension pole, with my climbing rope D clipped to it. Knee high t post stick with a rope man1 D clipped to it, and a rockman on my saddle rope. It's not a rig currently on the market, if you have a good anchor limb within about 20' reach, you'll never go back to sticks. I'll have my stand hung & be sipping coffee waiting for prime time before you're done mounting your sticks after I pack in much less weight & awkward clunky gear. It's Great for tree stand hanging, The best rig in the game for saddle hunting....
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors I live in Menominee but most of my Hunting efforts are in northeast ---- north central Wisconsin, put simply just for the better class of Bucks. Even in the southern u.p. Big Bucks are few & far between, but across the Menominee river, I'm in the game for 140" & above on public pretty much every year, and giants making appearances on occasion..
I watch a lot of your videos as well as a lot of other mobile hunting channels. Nobody shows the level of detail you show. It’s not even close man! Looks like a pos.
I don’t get it man, literally rushing products to market, pricing “just” under better products trying to make it seem like they’re making a deal… and not to mention the size issue. Definitely respect your opinion and reviews as they have influenced some of my purchases in the past.
Great job brother. Top notch review as always and glad some people still give honest reviews. Too many “pro staff” out there flooding reviews and videos with obviously biased reviews and snowballing the consumer.
yeah its run rampant any more. If it was like $75-90 range I think I wouldn't have graded it as harsh. Thanks for stopping by!

Keeping it real as always!!! That’s what I think most of us appreciate about you and your reviews!!
Thanks James!!
I really appreciate your reviews. Honesty is always the best when it comes to reviews. I am also a bigger guy and so glad I found your channel now couple of years ago. Keep up the great work.
Thank you, gotta have reviews for the big guys!
TX5 Suspension all day bought one for my .75 last year. Top notch quality!! 🇺🇸
Best thing I’ve came across and so glad I got it! I decided to get it once I seen the review on this channel. Couldn’t be happier about my choice.
It's a beast! The new one is just as good if not better. I'll work on that video soon.

Great and honest review! When a guy uses his own money to buy products is the only way you get those. Appreciate ya!
Thank you!

yeah, its definitely heavier than expected, XOP updated there description after I made this video.

If you 5 6 it might actually fit you. Or wait until next year, now they are making an xl version.

Very thorough video my man. Go Blue!
Thanks Ben! Blue all the way!
thanks for review! wanted to like it, but going with the TX5!
Tx5 is worth the extra cost
Could you use the water bladder pocket to transport your deer meat from the woods to the truck, if you skin it in the field?
I dont think so, its pretty slim.
Another Great Review Brother🤙
Thanks Todd!
Tell it like it is Jayce!!! Respect you!
I love XOP, but for the record:

I have not heard Lone wolf is doing that.
Saved me some money. I’ll check out the TX5 system. Although my Helo and mini sticks are pretty light as it is.
Yeah, what back back straps do you currently use?
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors I just have the premium XOP straps.
Xl version coming next year.
yeah I saw that, love to see a 2 inch webbing belt too.
I saw the video with the guy talking about the load lifters and immediately knew that guy had never packed real weight before lol.
yea.... I think we saw the same video lol
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors I just ordered the TX5 system. Thanks for the videos.
What a damn intro 😂
😎
What size is it
They only offer a m/L size, it's for sale $60 shipped if your interested, basically new.
what stand is that!!
xop retrograde

Good review. And congrats on marrying up.
Thanks
The birds in the background made me hurt myself

Great review. This would not be for me.

I think for the price of being made in China they would have sized it properly for a grown man.

Over priced and as most XOP heavier then advertised 👎

I mean It seems rushed. Obviously, I dont know them but why didnt they size test it on people? Why is it so expensive being made in vietnam?
