One of the most under appreciated alternative bands of all time.
Not by me. I get goosebumps when I hear them after not having heard them in a while.

They sound horrible to me. I want to see into your mind and understand where bad taste is born. I love you, it's going to alright. We can get past this, one day.
Been listening to them a lot recently(never listened to them before) and I completely agree. They're much better than Smashing Pumpkins, Cranberries, The Shins, Nirvana, The Pixies or really any comparable band. They've got the best elements of the best indie bands. Incredible dynamics, drumming, guitars, singing, lyrics and overall creativity.
There's nothing average, boring or generic about them. Every song I've heard by them is so well crafted and creative.
I listen to them daily. I'm doing my part!
I just fully realized what this song means. It's the torture someone goes through when they believe they are going to be hurt by someone. When they have been hurt before and don't want to be hurt again. When they are expecting the person that they love to find a substitution for them, a replacement. The battle of the self, the negative inner voice, the feeling of being out of control. This song to me is about a person who fully expects to be hurt and let down. Such a good song, and so important that we have art like this to encapsulate such a specific emotion that a lot of people deal with.

I really like your interpretation of this song never thought of it when i listened to it but it gives it a different meaning to me now and i like the song even more a 4 year relationship was ending when this song came out only girl I would have married

Bingo!! Hence the cynical eyes and conviction of the ladies here in the video who don't want the chair taken away from them (metaphorically and literally in the game in the video). Nobody wants to be humiliated feeling like a fool in a broken relationship.

I've noticed that the only videos from them that have a view power over 500k is under the record label channel. And is a music video. 17mil 9mil ext and they are all under the channel of the label. Not the actual bands channel. It's like if a video didn't exist it would have less views. But they have so many other great songs and very very few views at all! Great band
This man's voice is something to die for.
I'm in awe of this background singer. She does her job so well you can almost forget his voice is enhanced because of hers- it blends so subtly

I'm so happy everyone likes this band, some years ago no one cared about anything related to silversun pickups, that proves there's still hope for the world
I saw them live in Anchorage Alaska when I had just moved there and knew nobody. Went by myself and it was the best choice I've made in a decade.
That was a great show.
I'm a 90's kid and there will never be anything like it. Same has to be said for my 20's in the early 2000's. The music. Fashion😉. And VIDEOS. The last of em. What a time to be young and alive.

Back here again 10 years later and the song still cranks. Time difference did make me wonder how all those amazing ladies today and how cool would it be to every ten years get the exact people and re-do the video and watch the ageing process.

Saw them in concert at The Rave in Milwaukee. They were insanely good live. Put on a great show.
Firstly, whoever directed or came up with this video's concept is a genius. So f-ing hot, and hats off. Makes me want to be in a band again, just to do the casting and come up with a concept this great. Secondly, the song is obviously about "rejection." Fact: EVERYONE has something of value. If anyone walks away after making a commitment, thank them because they did you a favor. Failing to recognize who you are is on them.

Best Silversun Pickups song and video. It might be 10 years old, but the song and video aged well. I love the concept of the video and everything in general. Silversun Pickups best Indie rock group and underrated in my opinion.
Honestly one of the best construction of a video
Competition was tough. Every player gave it their best. However, there could only be one winner, and the girl in the violet dress displayed outstanding technique and an aggresive mentality when it came to taking the trophy home. In the aftermath of the show, she went into detail about how hard she had been practicing for this sports event and the physical hardache she experienced due to extreme training sessions. No doubt, you could tell through her performance the results of her training. I´m excited to see her advance in her career and represent America in the next international event, probably the Olympics.
