I was too shy to walk up to them but Nikki noticed me staring and she smiled back at me. I had never blushed so much in my life.

Stop the season stop the sting
A plastic mic a broken string
Infected wound from a rusty ring
    Soon you'll be there too
    Kissing families can't recall
A program to derail us all
Forgotten prison it's been safe 'til now
It's no wonder that we did it this way
Keep looking forward on paths sideways
It's everything that is connected and beautiful
And now i know just where i stand
    Move on
    Roll along
    Not today
It's everything that is connected and beautiful
And now i know just where i stand
Thank god you're heart is too close
This can be the bitter end
    I know it wont
Well someone said i made a mistake
Kept looking forward on paths sideways
It's everything that is connected and beautiful
And now i know just where i stand
    Seasons always shift too late
Spent too much time now on paths sideways
Everything that is connected and beautiful
And now i know just where i stand
    Thank god it's over....

I was at a Car Stereo place getting a CB radio installed in my truck. And in the stereo department, the manager was playing Silversun Pickups. . . . you know, in that stereo area where you can raise and lower the volume and play with the stereo settings. . . .And they sounded so fabulous. . . .I just had to know who they were ! So I asked the manager. . .and he told me all about Silversun Pickups !! And there I was !!!

Nikki uses the “pinky rest” technique to mute the other strings by resting her pinky over them while she picks the strings, a technique I thought I seen her use in the “Well Thought Out Twinkles” music video which was really hard to catch considering it’s all coated with special effects so I came to this video to confirm it and I was right! A good technique to use when you’re starting off, I’ve evolved to a flat fist but this one is just as effective! (I don’t know who needed to hear that.) Great music video, loved the concept!

A very rare cello part that matches the cello in Meg Meyer’s songs, but it’s as standout as it is, it is not as intrinsic and intertwined assay in Meg’s desire since it’s a stand out solo... what is just a different and beautiful concept ...not better or worse but different! Thank the varied Deities of Music Music and all Arts!

This band is ahead of they're time , people just dont realize how good they are . This track is as awesome, non pretentious and beautifully beat driven, and as American as apple pie. And that's saying alot considering the amount of great British bands. SSP is in my collection next to arcade fire , another great band that knows what sounds good.

You CAN dump all the BS and live simply. You're 100 percent correct ,- it's a trap you get in deeper,- cars, houses, marriages, kids,- all just means of generating taxes .Think about it.

Ill always love this song... Growing up in am abusive household the lyrics hit home...and then the video being a group of friends all gathered together, dealing with their own injuries while trying to keep each other safe reflecting the aftermath.. Im not sure if any of the members ever read these comments, im sure its run by the record company... but thanks for tackling something that hits so close for many of us so beautifully. Ive found a lot of solace in this song over the years and consider it a friend.
