Thanks for the info! I've been spending the past few days looking for exactly this but nobody has served it up the way you have. Your technique is perfect and I'm going to put this to good use. I live! Thanks again Miss Thing!

Thank you so much. Great job teaching us how to do this. I have looked through many books and could not find any information that was helpful , until i came across your video. I watched it a few times. I am a little slow, lol ,but i am getting better at it every time i wrap a beautiful crystal. :-) Thank you again , Be Blessed, Dawn B
17 and just started wrapping thank you for the info. I have no one to help me but how and at what price do I sell my work for. Please help I just broke away from my cell phone and I'm barely functioning.
I know this is a old video but I can't ever find nice chunky crystals like that any ideas? mine r smooth pencil point that falls thru no matter how or how tight I do it
What size is the wire that you are using? And also, whenever I use any tool to grab the wire, the tool scratches the silver off of the wire. Any tips on how I can stop this from happening?
I'd recommend buying a better quality wire and holding the wire more gently (though jewelry wire generally shouldn't scrape off, so that's a bit confusing. The wire is pretty malleable and should flex and hold its shape very easily. They do make rubber tipped craft pliers that you can try out if you'd like. I don't find them very easy to work with as far as grabbing ends and stuff, you might like round tip needle nose pliers better than flat tip, there's no sharp surface to scratch anything, and they still get a grip.
+Max Hackler Sometimes it may not. It works best with rough stones but if you make the side twists long enough, you can wrap the whole thing rather than just the top!
New updated version of this crystal wrapping tutorial! Link is in the description :)
Just what I was looking for: a straightforward video for wire wrapping. So helpful! Love the music, background, and Rune font!

Is it okay for there to be some markings on the jewelry? Is it possible to make them without any?
hi, what kind of wire do you use? where can I get it? thnx
I know this is a old video but I can't ever find nice chunky crystals like that any ideas? mine r smooth pencil point that falls thru no matter how or how tight I do it
What tool did you use to cut the wire with? I want to using sterling silver for wrapping, and I want to get something that will cut it easily.
+Isabel Hernandez wire cutters :) my round nose pliers are also wire cutters!
Very helpful, thanks!

By tools, I must pliers

Silver plated wire will not stand up; use filled or solid metal wire to avoid scratching. She said it was 22 gauge wire in the vid.
Perfect. Thank you.
♥
Do you have them for sale?
i love the music tnx.
lovely
I love this video, but I'd be way too scared the crystal will fall out!! :( unless I missed something at the start of the video?
Your crystals will hold better if it slightly wider at the top, and crimping the wire will help hold it as well :)
+Elarra Lae of course!! thank you!
Fantastic 👍
That song sounds really familiar. What is it?
+Jisun Lee The songs are listed in the description. They're just some free royalty free songs :)
but this method does not work with smooth rounded stones
+Max Hackler Sometimes it may not. It works best with rough stones but if you make the side twists long enough, you can wrap the whole thing rather than just the top!
What gauge is the wire your using?
+Mary Davis 22g :)
Following you on Instagram now :)
