    Bought 15 crystals for 6$ I'm tryna turn into $100. Wire wrapping them with cheap recycled wire and selling for $7.50 is the way to go!

    Thanks for the helpful ideas for wrapping crystal points. I had never thought about the horizontal orientation before, but that looks really nice. I also like the fact that you put tape on your chain nose pliers in order to protect the metal finish on the wire. That’s another good tip!

    The crystal that has the bail in the middle gave me a good idea for a ring. Just make the bail the size of your finger.

  • @Arizona_lilly
    @Arizona_lilly Рік тому

    I do t have wire like this I just have a eye pin so just that 50mm to wrap not enough more than making bail or smaller wraps or eye pin for stones u did awsomen

    • @creativefnk

      Thank you! Yes an eye pin wouldn’t be enough for this design you would need to get some wire 🌻

    Hi, thank your for this useful video. What thickness of wire did you choose? :)

  • @Arizona_lilly
    @Arizona_lilly Рік тому +1

    I also did notice ur wire seem a lil thicker then others iv seen use so 20gauge is nice I think others use 22 24 something small thing but yours it shows a good amount of color of wire I like that too and of course the thicker wire more sturdy a nail can be because it’s thicker

    • @creativefnk
      @creativefnk  Рік тому

      Yes! I use 20GA for most of my wire wrapped projects and the smaller 24GA/26GA just for wire weaving type things. I like the 20 GA look too and I like my crystals to be secure 👍

    • @creativefnk
      @creativefnk  Місяць тому

      So glad you enjoyed my video! I use electrical tape around the plier tips. Stops the wires getting too scratched up. Should be able to find at a hardware shop 🌻💫

  • @Arizona_lilly
    @Arizona_lilly Рік тому +1

    These look really good I do have some nice raw stones and some larger tumbled stones and always wanted to learn to do quick wraps I do have the part doe. Making the bail I even add a double jump ring into the hole of my bail just to secure it better . How about irregular stone shapes

    • @creativefnk
      @creativefnk  Рік тому

      That’s a great idea. You can wrap almost any shaped stone! Each wrap is unique anyway, as long as you wrap wire around a ought to make the crystal secure it should be fine! I have lots of different videos you can check out! Thanks for watching 🌻
