Well she's older and he's farther away. Maybe travel is more difficult for her.
"...Meemaw, or Connie as she is more affectionately known..." I think this was supposed to be swapped. How is "Connie" a more affectionate name than "Meemaw"?
We called our grandmother Me-Maw. I miss her dearly!!
Mee maw had a past a gambling casino behind the Laundromat and an alcoholic... everyone has a past they just dont bring it up
A) We meet Sheldon much later in life.
B) Meemaw has put on weight, probably making distance drives more of a non option (back/hips/legs hurting her), so those trips become a rarity
C) Nothing says she wasn't turning up every week and a half when he was a kid at Cal tech.
What ruins it for me is she probably _very much_ wanted to see Sheldon getting married while she was still alive, but unless he's coming to Texas, she's not going out for it
