- 'Young Sheldon' says goodbye after seven seasons. 'The Big Bang Theory' prequel series ended with a two-part finale, but not without dropping a few surprises about Sheldon Cooper's future. 'Big Bang' stars Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik return as adult Sheldon and his wife, Amy Farrah Fowler, in flash-forward moments making several new reveals in the finale.

I like how they shown how Sheldon and Amy are doing and what they're up to these days. And they're parents now too!
It would have been funnier if Sheldon had another son named Stuart. I would have lost my shit if they did that.😂😂
I found it very disappointing that Sheldon after all the years is still the same idiot. No growth to see...

primarily because they got so used to eachother that they became family. so acting with them felt...real. thats the most beautiful thing about the show :')

@@JohnPeacekeeperin my head cannon, Leonard is gifted mathematical or has a photographic memory or both, but chooses to pursue sports or business or mechanics or all three, putting his genius for a different use and has more common sense.

Honestly seeing Sheldon give his own eulogy...only to reveal that was only what he wished he had done... That was truly heartbreaking.
A lot of people I know hadn’t even heard of the Big Bang Theory… But they had heard of Young Sheldon!
I think it’s great that people can say, “I wish their was a sequel
to this series”, and to be able to tell them “There is!”😊

I feel so lucky I was 10 when the show started and when it ended I was 23 .
I saw it 12 years and now I’m turning 28.
Love that the TBBT universe is expanding hopefully we get more info about where our fav needs are up to that way.

@@LQFamily I’m not talking about him dying. I know it needed to happen since it was written into the story MANY years ago. However I feel like the ending was much sadder than you would expect for such comedic show. They didn’t find a way to make it fun at the end after George’s death:)
They tried their best to make goerge death leave a sad but happy ending. With the way they wrote the character. Ending it in a way that showed the family slowly pulling themselves together. Ending with Sheldon setting off on his own to fulfill his potential. Despite death being a tragedy. Life goes on. It’s not the end but the beginning of another story.
It was a sad but happy ending. These last two episodes were definitely too gut wrenching to rewatch immediately.

I honestly wanted to see a reunion with the Big Bang theory cast. But it was so sweet that Sheldon and Amy nicknamed their kids after their friends. Also young Sheldon coming out in scuba gear was icing on the cake
Their son was named after Leonard Nimoy and daughter wasn't named Penny He just said that they shouldn't have let Penny babysit their daughter

The fact that he called him Mr. Jim in this interview shows a sign of respect that most of us young people no longer have.
Because Mr. Jim was a producer on the show and was part of the decision to cast Ian.
@@Sam19509 I remember before the show premiered and Jim Parsons was on Late Night with Stephen Colbert. Stephen asked him about Ian, who was set to be a guest in the near future, and Jim told him to be prepared to have him call him "Mr. Stephen" because that's what he did with adults. Also noticed in a recent interview that he referred to the actress who played Mandy as Miss Emily---though Montana, who played his brother Georgie, was just Montana, perhaps because they were all kids together when they were first cast.

True. Coming from a third world country where tradition and culture value respect to elders no matter the relation it was a culture shock going to western countries and seeing the differences in upbringing that we’ve had.
I am a teacher and my students just call me Percy , that is my name and I am okay with them calling me just Percy , they are very respectful and sometimes outline and it is my job to discipline them when they are wrong , what does using Mam/ Sir actually do ? , I don’t how it would matter if your student is bullying other kids ,if they just agree to whatever you said with mam/ sir , it makes them respectable

I was 10 when the show started and when it ended I was 23… turning 28 this year….i grow up with those nerds.
If TBBT had another sequel about the Cooper family life, Iain should come back and play Leonard Cooper. They can be a father and son tandem that I will love to watch.

It would but maybe it would be fitting for Iain to shed Young Sheldon so he would have a better time with more mature roles so distancing himself from the character would probably help him until he is established as a mature actor.
Thank you Young Sheldon for one of the best if not the best season finales I’ve ever watched . There were no typical cliche ending scenes . The show managed to be heartfelt , witty , and funny without losing its integrity . Will miss this ingenuous show❤ immensely

What I am most amazed about is the kids from this show: Regan, Iain, and Montana; they have grown up to be very human and level headed people; not many young actors in a popular show turn out like that. They will definitely go places regardless of what they choose to do.

Honestly, I would like to have a TBBT X YS 1 hour reunion episode showing the kids of Sheldon and Amy, Leonard and Penny, Howard and Bernadette with Uncle Raj interact with parallels to how the cast of YS behave as kids.

There are still some problems with the story lines. Sheldon wouldn't have been at Cal Tech the whole time. Doctoral and Postdocs always go to schools other than the one they did their master's at.
So, after all that, we still don't get a scene with a grown up version of the family? Or are they saving that for the spin off?

In some way it’s like HIMYM but the ending is better
But I wanted to what happens to other guys.. I love everyone this series. I want to know how did Mary get over George's death.. And Connie aw I love her... And of course, I can guess how Missy and George jr would be.. I got so attached and I started crying like wyne.. Miss you guysss❤❤
How are they going to deal with the rest of the cast on the new show? Could be problematic if Connie, Mary, Missy are not shown on the new show but still live in Medford.

So true. I was almost about to cry on two separate moments and they ruined it by making the next scene funny. Even though it was a comedy show I didn't expect them to make George's funeral a joke.
Great job overall, but how in the hell do you have the "smartest man in the world" saying "mis-CHEEV-i-ous" instead of pronouncing the word correctly? UGH.
