If you fight the big strong tree later on with defense lowering and defense ignoring attacks then it doesn’t take too long, but if earlier on it’s like not possible
This video made me notice the SPROUT MOLEs that are on top of KING CARNIVORE's head, similar to the dead SPROUT MOLEs that make up KING CRAWLERs body... makes me wonder if the leaves going down its back are also SPROUT MOLE bodies too. Great video! -I can't wait for the sequel to OMORI, 2MORI, where CLEMS are actually the new currency and SHADY MOLE was actually trying to help them. Truly the character redemption that he deserves.-
Found out about the tree when achievement hunting and gotten excited to go fight it 🥴 Seen a youtube video of a guy taking a very long time to defeat it
I remember that video lol. The reason he took so long is because his only way to damage the tree was by dealing 2 damage everytime a party member landed a crit on it (so it took him 500 crits to kill the tree). If you use toys/attacks that ignore defense it should only take 6-10 turns
tbh a super obscure enemy I rarely see people even acknowledge is Nanci, an enemy that can only be encountered after beating Humphrey by going to the tree alcove in Vast Forest, interacts with the tree to make the screen turn spooky, exits the alcove, and then enters it again. It's such an odd and specific set of events that I'm genuinely unsure how someone is supposed to naturally find her. It's kind of amusing because, as a minor Something, she doesn't appear in the Foes Filed and thus has no reason to be fought for any achievements or anything. It's like she's some sort of little easter egg the devs put in because they had this really cool enemy design that they couldn't fit anywhere else.
I did not know that you could fight with king carnivore. And just because of that I have to make yet another save file to get an achievement. At least now I know that you can fight it and won't be dropping the anvil on its head again.
That was my playthrough! I was extremely confused to encounter something I didn’t even see and I almost expected it to explode in my face like the Earthbound tree enemy!
You know, I've always liked the fact in omori that the world of dreams looks to the characters the same as the real one (this is what the backdrops in the battles say)🤏adding fiction just with
‘Never run from enemies mfs’ when they encounter the big strong tree:
I am that guy. I forgot the Run option was a thing so I was doing 0 damage for around 20 minutes. Very fun ngl

i defeated that with sadness and stab only with the guidance of apple juice
or just use a bunch of toys
There was one guy who spent 6 hours fighting it
In the fight with pluto and earth, im pretty sure pluto can literally instantly kill earth by hurling the earth at everyone
it does not kill the earth
@@Elson203 oh, then i guess that attack happens when the earth dies (?)
fact: if you make the root sad they will literally do nothing for the rest of the battle

Tree is still the scariest Omori enemy imo
i encountered the tree, but i couldnt be asked to kill it due to it taking like 0 damage
I encountered the bunny before I saw this video simply because I was shit at navigating the forest
1:01 who knew bro thought he was scott pilgrim 😂😂🤣
i cannot BELIEVE i didn't know about pluto and the earth. it's always when i think i finally know basically everything in omori...

The real life Big Strong Tree has been fallen.

Imagine accidentally bumping into the big strong tree on your first playthrough 😭😭
