Thanks for this very useful comparison video. Of the three, for me, the Tomtoc Aviator is a no brainer. Carrying comfort, versatility, the strap, overall capacity, build quality and price all check the boxes. I’d put Aer next. The Alpaka strap mechanism you demonstrated would be an absolute deal breaker. I personally went for the Tomtoc Explorer T21 - both their mid and larger versions. I love them.

Great comparison review. I have the Aer Day Sling 3 and also have the belroy venture sling 6L. I've used the venture sling for its style and looks but once in a while also use the Aer Day Sling 3 for its versatility and separate mini tablet sleeve. Also, can you look out on the new sling from rework the Toshi Sling 5L. Thanks, More Power!

Yeah I've gone through many of the Bellroy bags, myself. I like that the strap on the 6L has quick releases on both sides and the self-compression of those bags. The Rework Toshi was already on my radar and I'm hoping to get one in to review soon. Stay tuned!

Good review. I own the max version of the Aer Day Sling but it's quite big for my daily use so I'm planning to downsize a bit. I was about to pull the trigger on the Tomtoc Aviator-T33 (3.5l version) but I also saw their announcement for the X-pac version, so I guess that's additional waiting time for me lol. X-pac bags is a must for me due to the rainy weather where I live.

Some good news for you then, looks like the X-pac version is already available on Amazon. Not sure where you live, but here's a link: amzn.to/4jthv8G I'll get a first look / review up as soon as I get mine.

    Tomtoc wander is my favorite.

Nice. That is one I haven't tried yet. Looks nice, though. Little bigger than these.

@JohnScottB I always like a little bit of wiggle room in case I need to carry more.

I just got my Tomtoc T35 (T33 with X-Pac), and the buckle rattles and makes noise like I never thought possible.

Tomtoc support insists it's normal. Do you have the same issues with your T33?

Great review, have the Aer sling 3 which is great, only negative I have is i wish shoulder strap has swivel movement not fixed to bag it. Would feels better on the side of your hip. Just a thought

Yeah the swivel attachment points do create more versatility in how they carry. Thanks for the comment!

Aer has tooooo many replicas from China that looks exactly the same and are selling very cheap in Asia! I will never buy any Aer product!

Yep, I've seen those well. Actually ordered one to compare. They are scarily close to the real thing. Hard to trust the used market on them. But that's not Aer's fault (I don't think?).
