I’m thankful he titled it that or I wouldn’t have clicked. This was a great video. Opportunity cost is a real loss weather you like to admit it or not. He missed out on 75k. That’s a loss.
Exactly. Everyone over the age of 30 has lost 10 million minimum from not investing in Bitcoin, but it's not like investing 10 million and losing it all.
That’s like saying if I would have never open the first year Nintendo came out and kept it sealed I would have 1,000,000 . So if I titled the video by saying how I loss a million dollars by opening a Nintendo.
Gotta be careful when looking at those Amen Thompson 1/1 comps. All of those sales are from Chinese sellers that are notorious for shill bidding their cards (check the bids). Granted I do think the 10/10 grading does increase value, but I don't think that it increased the value that much being that it's already a 1/1.
I'm buying Corbin Carrol, Sam Howell, Baker, Paolo, Bryce Young, Chet, and Jared Goff. I also believe Lawrence Butler is an undiscovered gem along with Bennedict Mathurin. Those 2 will be great in the years to come.
Still good profit, and dont take this the wrong way, but when you are dabbling in all the markets you sometimes loose site of some of the good longer term holds. Just watching Merrill play in 2024 and seeing his performance mirror what was being projected when he was in the minors you would know that he looking like a one year wonder.
Title is BS. Saying you could have made an extra $70K by timing all your sales perfectly is unrealistic. There isn't a collector alive who can claim to time every sale at the peak of the card's value.
you really can't count it as a loss when you don't time the market perfectly on a sale. it's either a profit or a loss. title is click bait.

Not really lol@@sportsbettingeducation
***Unrealized losses***not the same as losses hitting the books.

Right, should have said missed out on that makes more sense
Cry about it
Lmao you really replying to everyones comments on another mans video..@sportsbettingeducation
You just listed cards you sold for profit but not at the absolute peak
clickbait, leaving money on the table is not the same as a loss. profit is profit

A small rectangle of cardboard lost value???!!!!!!
Hate to break it to you but even money itself loses value.
It least you didn't lose $2m. Lucky I'm still here

Are you a doctor
Click bait
And this is why I only buy vintage
Amen 🙏. Been collecting vintage and selling for over 35 years, true collectors go with ups and downs and are still ok. Quick flips usually drop.
@dean-marr yep, and there's always a market for vintage.
People like you destroy the hobby.
Cards are just paper not gold!
FYI, cardboard pictures of athletes and celebrities are not an investment class
they sure are, bud. If people put value on them, they sure are commodities to be traded on the market.
