Merry Christmase from Southern California! I've been flying my Bigfoot on 3s for a couple of years. After seeing your video, I'm putting 4s in mine! Thank you for posting!
I like the way you take advantage of flying all year round. I really should think about doing the same thing here in Canada. I have not flown since November and have had some nice days that I could have flown. Thanks and keep those videos coming. I see you did not get a new shirt for Christmas. lol. Just kidding. I like your palm tree shirt.
Hey thank you for your in-depth overview of this plane . I use to fly a HK Tundra but after a small but significant mistake it ended up in a tree …Before you ask , the pilot was ok though need ropes to climb down ! I did quite a bit of homework and watching your video with the Big Foot on 4s was the decider I use a master screw scimitar 10x6 on the 4s , though want to experiment with other props including the 10 and 11 APC you outlined . Thank you once again for all of your videos and sharing your experiences and view . Merry Christmas and wishing you peace and many happy landings for the New Year of 2o24.
APC propellers are very good and in my experience has less noise than Scimtar ones. Thanks for commenting and I'm happy you find my content useful. Merry Christmas!
When I made the change to 4s and a new ESC i down-propped from an 11/7 to 10/7. It was good but I felt it needed a bit more prop so I went with what you did with an 11/5 much better cruise .
I like that Arrows Bigfoot. It's similar to my FMS 1.3m Supercub. Those squishy tires are nice. I'm thinking about putting 4 inch dubro air filled tires on my FMS Maule, too. Do you think that's a good move? Or should I tough it out with the FMS Maule's rock hard Flintstones tires. 👍

I try to do year round flying with just a few shorter breaks and winter flying is very nice. Sadly no gifts this year so I`ll stick with my palms :)

Just took my Big Foot out today with upgraded ESC and 4s battery what a difference. Much more authority in th air.
Great to hear you are enjoying 4s! This is a fantastic plane.

I do by with stock wheels on my Maule and even these Dubro wheels on the Bigfoot is not needed unless lots of payment runway I guess.
What prop (size and part #) please. I love mine too. Merry Christmas

👍👍
did the added weight of the dubro wheels make it feel any different in the air?
Not anything I noticed.
@@SunriseRCAviator i think im gonna go with using the FMS1300mm Super Cub ones cause they are a bunch lighter wheels than Dubro,s are
Nice video. As far as the Du-Bro Big Wheels, did you have to modify them in any way to fit, or did they go on just like the original tires? Thanks
Thanks! They fitted without mod.
@@SunriseRCAviator Nice. Okay just to make sure I order the correct ones. Are they the the Big Wheels for $29.43 at 4” correct?
gott nytt ar
Gott Nytt år! And I wish for you a great flying year to come!
