I've been flying for a few years , it's not my main hobby and I'm not good at inverted. I tend to fly scale planes in a scale way.
As long as you are having fun then you fly the way you wish. Whatever keeps you coming to the field.
I purchased my Bigfoot as a ready to fly with transmitter, battery and the vector system. Would you recommend that I just used the transmitter that it comes with or can I set it up with my new nx8 ? I did see a UA-cam clip that said if you want to use the nx8 transmitter I have to change the receiver. It would be nice to have reverse but not really necessary for this plane. If I did have to change the receiver which Spectrum would you recommend? Thanks heaps Paul.
Keep Vector system and get a Spektrum ar620 assign the Vector to you gear channel or channel 5 and then assign the gear channel to what ever three position switch your used to on your present receiver. Don't worry about TR. right now .

the talking controller sounds nice, I would love to star RC and that plane looks amazing and maybe it can land and take off on grass the wheels look like maybe they can do it?

Love the Bigfoot! My 3rd ever RC plane, good price, easy to fly, not too big, can slap a gopro pretty much anywhere on it & fly no problems - Would love to know What's the Smallest sized plane you could fly with a Gopro? 800mm? 700? 🤔
Well that would depend on the plane type and wing loading. But to keep it easy I would say nothing smaller than a plane that flies a 2200 3s as it largest battery.

If you have access to some EFLITE Timber tire they are a great alternative.
