Historically, the summer season sees the precious metals drop in value. It will be interesting to see how this summer plays out. Personally, I plan to keep stacking for the long term.

As do I but with the caveat that I manage my money carefully, so am not among those who bought silver at $40 and higher who are still waiting to get above water on it.
ALL of my PMs are above water and have been for some time. This is how one builds wealth over time and not by buying PMs at any price and becoming disappointed.
I love to buy gold, so will continue to do that via dip buying to make the fiat currency I have available for this do as much as possible. I completed my silver stacking goal
in late 2019, so only buy silver when I can get a really good deal on something that I really like. Yes, such deals are rare but are well worth it when found.

I plan to keep buying regularly. Today's price really doesn't distract me from my plan of metals being my long-term hold. Im not selling if it's high today, and I'll just buy more if the price goes down. My hope is that my kids can deal with it when I'm gone. I hope i never need to use it. But if i need it in my old age, I'll worry about the price of it then... But for now, i sure enjoy having it and getting more. It's a fun hobby and, in my opinion, the best addiction to have... but i will have to say that if my addiction gets much worse, im going to have to find a self-help group for Stackers Anonymous. 😅

Had a wild dream last year that gold spot price was down in the $1400s. My immediate thought was "That would not be good. Something really bad would have to happen to the economy for THAT kind of drop". And this was before the rocket rise in recent months.

That’s the key - picking up a few ounces here and there is the way to go….that way, you don’t pay high or low, and get a good overall average price per ounce. Smart plan.
As a supply slider, I’m beginning to think interest rate hikes don’t tame inflation, but exacerbate it. We need to seriously consider the option to lower rates to tame inflation. I know this seems upside down, but supply side says you set the stage for business investment which encourages growth, and with the economic expansion v. A fixed government spend, this could ease inflation. Or looking at it simpler, a lower cost of capital could translate to lower input costs which could translate to lower prices.

Indefinitely as long as other counties continue to lend the U S money. Regardless of what the dollar is doing it is still outpacing the majority of other fiat currencies. Until the dollar is underperforming the majority of foreign currencies it will still be used.

Actually the US monetary policy is a debt based system so the more the merry. The problem is that the federal reserve is not federal it’s PRIVATE. Until the government takes back control of the reserve and federalize the games will continue.
What about gold backs as a form of currency
With 250-300% premiums and VERY low public awareness of them, even in states where they’re valid currency, you’re better off stacking 9999 gold.
The election happening this year really throws a wrench into the calculus…but I don’t believe they will raise rates next cycle

Don’t believe any Govt sponsored statistics. Mis-info if you haven’t figured that fact out yet. Employment stats, GDP, purchasing agents reporting, anything initiated by or involving the deep state cabal cannot be trusted. Domestic and global.
At the basest levels, deglobalization simply means America is taking back industrial power. Instead of farming out vital processes and buying finished goods from China-etc, as we have been doing for many decades, the US has taken action to bring all of those jobs home and engage with all the possible income. As this process continues, we have to go through and HANDLE the inflationary environment. We are in for a long ride and thoughtful Americans should prepare their finances, and more importantly, their habits to be in a solid position and not diminish in a time where we need to be strong. This is our chance to re-establish the foundation of our country and re-ignite the most powerful economy in the world. In my opinion.
