The last scene is from his sitcom Man Down, which is semi biographical around his family and teaching career. Also stars Rik Mayall and is incredibly funny.
the last scene was from man down, when I saw this on patreon I asked you to show Rhod Gilbert on Taskmaster embarrassing Greg on the show, Gregs mother also appears in the clip at one stage too, I have since learned Rhod has had to cancel some live shows due to having to have treatment for cancer , I am sure that as well as enjoying the clip your community would like to pass on their best wishes to Rhod. Also regarding patreon I think everyone would love to see your reaction to the inbetweeners waterslide incident, best reaction ever!!!!
I also recognized Greg's mother from Rhod Gilbert's brilliant Taskmaster prank. The grin on his face when she appeared on screen in the live show and he saw Greg's reaction was absolutely EPIC! I am so saddened to hear the news about his cancer diagnosis! Of course, it's not necessarily a terminal illness, but we all know the potential for any cancer to be life threatening. I join you in wishing Rhod a complete and speedy recovery.
You guys seriously need to start doing Taskmaster reactions. Don't even mess around with compilations. Just start with season 1 episode 1 and move your way up. You will not regret it. And the entirety of your viewerbase will thank you. The episodes are available on UA-cam. Seriously, I know you get tons of requests, but as you pointed out, WILTY is very popular on your channel. Taskmaster and WILTY have basically the same audience and practically all reaction channels do both of them, for good reason. Please just do yourself the favour.
Agreed about the compilations. They show just one contestant doing a variety of tasks, which is crap. You need to see every contestant doing the same task. It’s much funnier when you see each comedian’s different approach and it makes more sense.
Definitely do Taskmaster, but not the compilations as it will make no sense. And I think you two know UK panel shows well enough to know that the competition part of it isn't the point ;)
Agreed, the compilations suck the life right out it. Unless you’ve already watched the episodes. At the very least, watch the complete episodes of the Bob Mortimer season.
I don't think most seasons of Taskmaster is on UA-cam, and "All 4" requires a UK IP. Showing a reaction to All 4 using VPN or from a dicy source could be playing with fire for the channel.
Greg is one of my fav comedians, and was bloody lovely when i met him a few years ago. I hope you do Rhod Gilbert on WILTY soon. He's hilarious. Poor guys fighting for his life at the mo with cancer, so show him some love!! Kevin Bridges buying a horse is a must watch as well
He's definitely not a bastard, he's a really sweet man. Incredibly funny and a BRILLIANT story teller. Rule of thumb: if it involves his family or his teaching days, it's true 😁
Loving how you two are not only reacting to WILTY but you're also pausing and taking part in guessing... excellent channel lads.. keep up the great content 😄
One of the best shows ever on Brit TV. Great reaction guys ! Please please please, as others have recommended , check out Rhod Gilbert, Kevin Bridges and James Acaster You won't be disappointed.
I have slapped my thigh so many times during this reaction, I am sure it will still hurt tomorrow and it will be worth it! Thank you for embracing WILTY.
Someone mentioned Rik Mayall in another comment and I definitely think you could get a huge laugh from him. I'm not sure if it'd be easy for you to watch things with him in, but if you can, these are the more well known sitcoms with him in; Bottom The Young Ones I think you did a video on Blackadder that had Rik in. Really enthusiastic character in everything!
Yes yes and let some of us in the comments section know what that last scene was from too! Ok, Man Down, I will have to look this up! Brilliant reaction guys! Coushonnnnnn!
Loved this! Love Gregg, great reaction lads! AND as I know you like him.. Did you realise when you go to the shot of the blonde lady (Patsy Kensit) after the Parker, Snorkel thingy - that was Liam Gallagher's ex-wife who he shares his son Lennon with
Last scene from 'Man Down' written by Greg. Is surreal madness based (loosely) on his time teaching. Think there's a few series (seasons) & funny as you'd hope they would be.
Little bit of trivia for you: The blonde woman on Lee's team during the snorkel parka music practice room story is Patsy Kensit, Liam Gallagher's first wife. Also, what a great game snorkel parka music practice room is!
You guys always cheer me up and I can't help but do the intro every time the "YES WE ARE" Part if your everin Yorkshire England there's a spare room with your amen on it keep up the good work fellas.
My sister/friends and me had two secret languages - once our parents had deciphered the first, easier one, we invented a harder one and they never managed to decipher that. It's amazing what kids come up with 😁
Totally love Greg!!! He is fantastic!! Try watching the bloopers for his other programme "Man Down" as it stars him, Roisin Conaty and many more!! Him dancing comes from around that time I think!
As has been said numerous times now the final scene is from his show 'Man Down', which interestingly was filmed at the school where Greg used to actually work, and also in the same classroom where he taught. It's a show which is a bit crap but at the same time, really really funny, one of those ones which could have gone either way, but the funny bits are funny enough to save it and make it well worth watching, but it's not on the same level as some of the big hitters like The Inbetweeners, Father Ted and The IT Crowd.
...and i got so drunk once, my head swelled up, also, guess that what happens when you drink 2 pints of jack daniels... can't touch the stuff anymore..
Great reactions guys! Greg Davies is top tier! I love that you were so caught up in the Pauline one that you forgot to pause and guess. I'm an older Brit who works weird hours and doesn't get to watch much primetime TV live, but I finally discovered WILTY and Taskmaster a few years back and seeing all the comedians I mostly knew having fun bouncing off each other was great. I've repeatedly rewatched episodes and clips multiple times since then. So much fun to watch along w/you guys. CUSH-ON!
The last part is from his excellent comedy "Man down" (interestingly no one seems to have done a reaction to it yet so you know what you have to do lads.....)
Honestly, the margarine to get into leggings episode is one of my favourites of the entire show - also, though this is a Greg Davies compilation, some of the funniest one-liners for me come from Robb ("We're all Bafta nominated") and Lee ("I can't believe it's not leather?"). Anyway, Greg Davies always a good laugh and one of my favourite guests on the show.
Basically you need a night out with Greg, Bob mortimer and henning wehn, if you end the night in the same country, not in a police station and with all of your belongings you would be on to a winner
Another great contributor to WILTY is Claudia Winkleman. She gives the impression of being a total airhead, but is in reality quite clever. She is about as hard to read as Bob Mortimer
Last scene is from Man Down. Netflix has the rights in Spain. It’s Davis, Davees is the anglicism of the Welsh Davis or Davies. Gregg was born in Wales, his parents crossed the border from Shropshire to ensure he was born in Wales and would qualify to play rugby for Wales.
The Last clip is from Man Down.. It's based on his time as a Teacher. Also Check out his stand up shows "Firing Cheese balls at a dog" and "The back of my mum's head" You won't be disappointed.
I went to a convent school (in the 70s) and I came across an old style nun's habit and wimple amongst the clothes backstage. I put on the outfit and did exactly what Greg Davies did in his 'snorkel parka' game. It was great fun.
Oh honey, one of my favorite stand up specials EVER is Greg Davies Firing cheese balls at a dog. Hilarious!!! Also Pauline is in the audience so I immediately knew who she was. He has a ton of family stories in that special.
Snorkel-parka-music-room is exactly the kind of game I loved at school. Kids are so inventive. We had so much fun. It combines naughtiness, risk of getting shouted at, play-acting, timing. None of this bullshit with balls and competitiveness. Fantastic.
His Sit-com "Man Down" is loosely based on his life as a teacher. And you will realise just how nuts Greg Davies is. That scene where Greg dancing in the hospital ward at end of clip is from this sit-com.
I'm sorry what? "Margarine was still a thing?" When did it stop being a thing. I can't believe it's not butter has the UK in a chokehold Marg has always been a thing 😂😂😂 Great reaction
The thing about the bathtub story - that no-one picked up on (which is very unlike Lee Mack to ever miss a trick) - is that he said that he used couch cushions to pad out the bath to make it more comfortable. He openly said that they had a couch in the house. Why the hell wouldn't he just sleep on that? If the house had a couch, then you would sleep on the couch, right? You don't take the cushions from the couch and then put them in the bathtub instead.
You know what every story on WILTY isn't always lol funny, but they're just so warm and interesting to watch, they're really entertaining and ordinary people 😃🤗👍.
Funny you should mention Liam Gallagher during Gregs' parker story, the woman on lees' team is the actress Patsy Kensit, she was married to Liam from 1997 to 2000.
I have seen all of these lots of times, and I still laugh out loud. You really need to check out Man Down, it's a show which is (loosely) based on Greg's life. Hilarious
It's very simple! In the UK, many teachers were kids once, who then (almost grew up!), and became adults. That's why, SO many teachers KNOW what bastards the students are and why/how, we learn about 'BANTER & TAKING THE PISS' at an early age. 👍🇬🇧
The last scene is from his sitcom Man Down, which is semi biographical around his family and teaching career. Also stars Rik Mayall and is incredibly funny.
I think its on Netflix
I've been dying for someone to do reactions to Man Down. Let's get these boys on board. That would be amazing!
Oh Man Down is so funny...every now and again just for fun I like to shout "TEGGUN!". Milky Sue is also one of the funniest characters ever created.
Man down...very funny, Greg Davies with his " mates " Roisin Conaty is brilliant, they are good friends & it shows! Please check it out? 🏴😊
So's the snorkelparka music practice room thing. Well, the other way around, he included it in "Man Down" 😂
Last clip of him dancing is from "man down". Great show highly recommend not only for Greg Davies but the late great Rik Mayall as his dad.
Rik is the best

Fantastic sunday upload. I love how Bob's face lights up throughout the 'snorkel parker' game, like it's something he'd do.
Could imagine it being combined into part of the gameplay of theft and shrubbery tbh
"it's such a ridiculous game, who would invent that" ... Meanwhile, on Lee Mack's team, is Bob Mortimer who invented the game "Theft and Shrubberry"
You guys need to see Taskmaster with Greg in it, the show is just hilarious!! 🤣🤣
+1 for taskmaster reactions!
Our family did our own version after loving the show so much! Including me flying to Ireland for a day just to win a task 🤣🤣
Masterpiece of a show
Especially the season with Mike Wozniak.
@@ThePaynes2022 now THAT is dedication!😂❤️

This for Kevin Bridges is a must, his horse story especially was one of the best in the show
That episode was actually on TV last week 😄🐴
I can never understand one word he says. Same thing with Danny Dyer.
@@casalaiz4413 Danny really is Dire! 🤢🤮
That and the "give me a quid or I'll stab you" one 🤣
Loving how you two are not only reacting to WILTY but you're also pausing and taking part in guessing... excellent channel lads.. keep up the great content 😄
i love that greg says that chinese dave is called that because he wear a hat and bob goes of course , like that explains it
Greg has a newer show that I enjoyed called “the Cleaner” where he cleans up after crime scenes and how he gets on with the survivors.
Gregs' stand up shows are definitely worth a watch, and you get a better idea of how he thinks! 😆
That last scene was from Man Down his own to show based on his life it’s bloody hilarious, great videos lads it was funny as hell👍👍
Finally!! You guys luv him from the in-betweeners, but he is as good at storytelling as BOB Mortimer! They are both GREAT
Love watching Bob.
One of the best shows ever on Brit TV.
Great reaction guys ! Please please please, as others have recommended , check out Rhod Gilbert, Kevin Bridges and James Acaster
You won't be disappointed.
Yes James Acaster would be brilliant to watch next.
James Acaster is a must!!! I think of him every time I buy cabbage.
That will be a wild ride and I’m here for it! 😂

As someone else has said in the comments.. Definitely react to Rhod Gilbert.. He has some amazing stories..
Get well soon Rhod 💙
Rhod is much better now but a lot darker
Honestly Greg is hilarious in everything, but as The Taskmaster, he is supreme.
The best show on the telly.
Having heard Greg tell stories about his family the only real surprise is that he is so "normal".
His mums favourite thing to say to him is " that's not normal, love" when ever he does anything.
That scene was from man down it has the late great Rik mayall on it aswell...it's a very good series
Yes yes and let some of us in the comments section know what that last scene was from too!

Man Down. Written and starring Greg. It is one of the funniest shoes you will see as the cast is excellent
