The reason they're so many infj in one place... Is they're so freaking obsessed and they must think, analyze and comfirm they are a infj. Tbh being an infj always gives me an existential crisis like why? What does this mean? Why im here? I gotta think through this *sips coffee inside of a cave*
I would say if they have to keep reaffirming that they are, chances are they are not a P-lead like an INFJ. Perhaps a J-lead instead, since INFJs rely on a probabilistic model, while J-leads (EJs and IPs) rely on a deterministic model.
If an INFJ went to a boxing match, they would feel every punch thrown and at the end of the fight the INFJ would be more beaten up than the loser! Truer words were never spoken.
If you clicked on this video because u feel like u are betraying people if you arent actually a real infj and you can never double check enough, then you are probably an infj😅
@@ThePhoenixElite Yeah, I'm INFJ too but I'm still questioning whether it's accurate or not years after. I think it's actually very easy to explain with the cognitive functions. As people with Ti we want to solve the mysteries of the universe and particularly about personnalities in our case. But the problem with MBTI is that most things in psychology can hardly be proven for now cause it's incredibly personal. And since it's particularly hard for us to know ourselves, we're never totally sure something corresponds to us so we're searching for who we are in a loop because of it and constantly unsure. But I think this unassertiveness is paradoxically what makes an INFJ behavior very identifiable even if in actuality INxJs are so rare that "luckily", we appear very different from many. But the fact that the Ni cognitive function is so unclear for most makes it even harder to be sure of who we are cause nobody can really tell with much certainty what personality traits fit us without a doubt. So we're kind of helpless in that regard 😅. That's why I said that being rare can be a great help in this case. But of course I think the fact that INxJs are rare is the same reason why the Ni cognitive function is so obscure. I got INFP once but I already knew the test and was in a different state so I guess it gave a wrong result. My first result was INFJ and I've done the test numerous times anyway and on numerous sites so I guess I have to come to the conclusion that it's accurate (but of course I'll never be 100% sure and nobody can).
@@kyurei4478 If you are an INFJ you just know it from most experiences in your life, always the weird/put aside kid in school. Always saying stuff that doesn't connect with 98% of people but totally makes sense objectively. Feeling superior but feeling sad about it. I could go on and on. Wenzes is a great channel for INFJs, maybe you know about it.
@@GreenWizardPTR Yes, that's basically what I said. But what I was explaining is it's not an identification method based on personality traits but solely on the fact that INxJs are very rare. So it doesn't give you a sense of identity. I wouldn't really say superior just because we identity things most don't, it's just a matter of being common or not to me. If INxJs were common it would have nothing "special". But for sure we feel depressed about being misunderstood. Many people might think it's so "cool" to be rare because you feel special. I couldn't care less. I think it's more important for INFJs to feel normal and relate to others because then they don't feel lonely. Feeling special is actually rather depressing. But what I meant is even then, despite the fact I came to the conclusion long ago, there is still this questioning inside that will never totally disappear because there is no 100% sure answer with MBTI.
As an INFJ, I love people, they are amazing, i want to know how complex they are how the feel and why they're them. But I also hate them with a passion, they make me sick when they do stupid dumb shit or evil in this wicked world. And yes, for the question "how you feel?" i'd say "i'm fine", unless I'm 100% confident with who ask me that and then i'll FLOOD them with how I feel :)
Superficial relationships exhaust me. I want to KNOW people...to have meaningful conversations...things that get to the heart of people. I hate trying to understand why people do what they do-especially if they are not open to talking.
@@maureenseel118 Sadly we have to lower our expectations. I trust you're well aware of the fact that not everybody is as in tune with their emotions and themselves as we are, therefore we do the double work of threading carefully in social relationships. But if we can't run away from these boring people, then for my own sake, I use the chamaleonic part of ourselves, fully aware I'll be drained badly after. But I survive at least.
I love them and that's why I can't stand the stupid and evil things done. I saved a man's life once because I barely knew him as the drummer in my friend's band and I knew that he was a junkie. I was out walking and happened to see him heading into an obviously abandoned building and my thought, much more apparent to me than such thoughts usually are was, "I think I'll go yell at that man." but in a good way. Only, by the time I walked back to where he had gone in and navigated things until I found where people had gathered, he was layed out and not breathing and a bunch of junkies were sitting mostly on the other side of a fire from him. So, I yelled at them instead unti they gave me back his coat and also all of theirs (cold, Alaska, wintertime) and I worked really hard at getting his blood moving and him breathing again. Because I believe in God, I believe I heard my inner dalogue more outwardly so that I would find him and save his life. I know no further information on why that was important in the larger scheme of life, though. I just know I loved him, without knowing him really, and that really made me want to yell at him.
also about im fine part. exactly. i always flood my besties with how i feel lol and never feel like doing that to someone frim the outside of this circle. If i do i feel incredibly guilty, self-centred and like I'm annoying people
With all the awkward situations and conversations I find myself in, I have finally decided to challenge myself to not feel uncomfortable but to lean in and see where it goes. I'm going to be all by myself to process it later, and I might enjoy it all more knowing it was at least somewhat intentional by the end. 😂😂😂
An INFJ has the potential to create their heaven or hell on Earth. Being basically the type that can become the most balanced. Most INFJs never attempt to tap into their full potential due to unresolved trauma from the nature/nurture aspects of their environment. Using that potential to work with the underlying aspects of reality makes them the perfect manifestors. It was said in the movie, "Life is tough, that's the default setting." If we're mot here leveling up, then what are we doing? ❤
Would tend to say INFPs are more guilty of that but the funniest is INFJs generally absolutely don't care about feeling special. Fi users tend to have a cult of their personality. That's how you can identify the difference.
I honestly can't see how they would do that. I have an enfp friend and she's great but she's too "😍☀💕🥸🥰🤩🤯🫶✨" about everything to pass as an introvert lol
Well... I related to everything about being INFJ, except about the criticism. I like to be criticized because then I can know the other's point of view and with that improve on myself. I want to become a better person and appreciate to know when I am wrong to fix it!
Same here, but for me it depends very much on how and from whom I get it. I think it's something that changes as you develop more, knowing your weaknesses is a huge strength!
Me neither. Actually I think I solved why people think we're sensitive to criticizms. It's just because we already put a lot of pressure on ourselves so when someone criticizes us about something, we already kinda guessed it through intuition most of the time but it can just be assumptions. So it's like a double criticizm every time from us and from others. It's one of the mechanisms of dominant Introverted Intuition I guess, being worried about everything that could happen. Also I think hearing the same criticizm we made about ourselves in our head from someone else is terrible because it pretty much confirms our negative assumptions and makes it true. Another point is I think we're just very skilled when it comes to hiding things about ourselves so even if we're not actually particularly sensitive to criticizms, if we can avoid receiving it and want to, we'll do it cause criticizms in general aren't necessarely very enjoyable (especially when it's just personal judgement). But sometimes we would even ask for it to improve cause you can't improve if you don't know your weak points right? I noticed this trait of personality doesn't fit us when I realized if it's a criticizm I never thought about before, I'll be surprisingly chill about it, even curious. But sometimes I think there is also times when we know some criticizms made about us are objectively wrong or simply don't fit our mindset or people misinterpreted the intentions behind our actions. And in all honesty, I think it's one of these cases. People just don't get us on that, it's a misinterpretation that makes it look like we're particularly sensitive to criticizms but it's just A LOT of accumulated pressure. No matter who you are, if you're very stressed you'll appear more sensitive than usual because you're mentally tired. That's what constantly happens to us. That's why being around more carefree people or people who don't put pressure on themselves can be very enjoyable for us (even if it can be worrying as well because of our profound nature), such as ESTPs, ENFPs and so on.
@@kyurei4478 sometimes you can't dismiss who is doing the criticizing. I would give him/her a good once-over in grand Sigma INFJ style. Than ask that person to qualify his criticism while promising to return a rebuttal.
@@lorentaidhg8534 I think I would just ask this person to qualify their criticizm and then judge later if it deserves an approval or a rebuttal the next time this topic comes up.
As an Infj I have to tell you , that everything you have said is very unprecise but I get your points. For example to say we don't like drama is true but I think we will easily spot drama and create drama because we are very sensitive. It's true we are interested in people and wish them the best , I guess it's love but it's very draining to interact with them , also we don't need to like someone to help them. Also it's true many of us are sensitive to criticism due to our perfectionism , but not necessarily and I guess only in things that r important to us , we also think and reflect a lot so it's not easy to change our mind with an argument we have already thought about 100x. And yes we r insane and we r suffering!😂 Our interests are not random, true. Mostly our interests are related to psychology. Yes we r slow learners (we take our time by choice to make sure we understood it on a deep lvl) and yes we like chill things and need time to reflect alone! We are very emphatic so much that it hurts, that's why we need time alone, to form new connections is not really that easy not because we r not emphatic but because people r mentally draining to us, so we prefer to be alone most of the time or in my case with other people who r highly emotionaly intelligent with time to recharge.
Good video. Here are some more: you are not an infj if you secretly like it to be a rare personality type. And to be special. Its because of infjs Fe and the need to be understood, that they would like it more to be more like other people. Infp for example on the other hand like it a lot to be special. You are also not an infj if you dont have performance anxiety to some degree. Thats because of Se. It makes infj a bit or a lot anxious about their performance. This can be at school or at work and even the performance as a friend or as a partner. Did I do enough to be a good friend? The part with critisissm is connected to this. You are not an infj if you have the best ideas under stress. Thats because of Ne in the shadow. Infj can have good and creative ideas almost like enfp, but only if they are not stressed.
Reallly!! Exactly!! I haven't told anyone I'm an infj due to this very reason.... in fact i am kind of distressed over it being the 'rarest '🤣 But so glad to finally find content and comments that feel relatable💕
I just don't believe that it's the rarest, I think there are several types at the same level and it's too difficult to actually calculate the numbers (I want the data for how it was measured to know more)
@agrillhasnoname Then why don't you try to enlighten us instead of just stating that you are much smarter in a rude attempt to place your intelligence above others instead of actually showing it? Because now you just sound like an immature bully, and that's something insecure people do (mostly kids) because they are afraid that others will see their true self and not like them for who they really are. If you are more intelligent, you should know that sharing your wisdom will help others, so help us understand why we are wrong.
I wore a Motley Crue t-shirt and got a Motley Crue folder for my math papers, because, I was told I shouldn't listen to them. I don't believe in advertising for bands. Let them pay for it, like everyone else. But, I was totally rebelling againt such uptight desires to oppress me and them.

My sister is an INFJ and you’re so right about the empathy thing. She’s telling me about her husband’s health issues and I’m starting to tear up. “What’s wrong?” She asks. 😂 “Um… I feel bad for him…” blank stares at me and says, “Oh”.
i have become avoidant because seeing people hurt/suffering or going through something is heavy as hek. it drains me so i often isolate myself and avoid others
The forced detachment is real. Trying to occupy your mind and hands, reading, playing games with others, worst of all with yourself. You start doing that for long enough and become twisted. Fuuuuuck.
To comprehend this video, people need to understand that the cognitive functions matter. INFJ- NI,FE,TI,SE INTJ- NI,TE,FI, SE I can go more in depth, but I want to make sure you understand.
This! I used to get INFJ on 16personalities all the time. Once I took a few cognitive functions tests, it turned out I'm an ISFP. Understanding the cognitive functions makes it much more interesting and complex (much like humans), not simply categorizing someone as either "introvert or extrovert", "intuition or sensing" etc.
Ty,Done the cognitive function test and got the same infj still but I kinda feel like I am not one idk how should I say it,I feel like an absolute walking contradiction
Being a INFJ is though most of the times worrying about a lot of random things. Sometimes I feel that if I was the common personality things maybe would be more smooth sailing in my life.
1. I hate drama! 2. I still talk to people who i absolutely dislike. Just for the sake of analysing them and who they really are. I talk to this mysogynist jerk for month because he thought he was philosophical and i wanted to manipulate him into showing his stupid side and i did. I like people and love helping them. 3. When i get a criticism, i destroy myself and doubt my abilities. 4. I want my environment to be super chill because im already very in trouble with myself. I like situation which make me feel at ease. 5. I dont know about this one but most of my interests ARE related to one thing, and thats ART. 6. I am a fast learner but when i find a new thing to know about i get totally consumed in that. The videos about that specific topic are gonna be all over my phone. 7. Im anything but detached. 8. I am never sure but what i really like but when i do, i will be ordering the same icecream everyday. 9. The most rebel i was but to break the uniform code in my school and did not follow it until i was told by a nice teacher i really liked lol. Im not sure about who i am.. i thought i was infj for a while.. im actually istp.. same functions.. different order.. like i care about peoples feelings, but theyre not a priority.. not even mine.. feelings should have nothing to do with decisions MOST of the time.. there is a time and place where emotions should play a part in decision making..

My Dad is INFJ. All of his interests connect back to machinery and how it works in some way. Planes, trains, and guns, kind of like an ISTP. Oh, and tarantulas, for some reason.
INFJs and ISTPs are very similar at their core. I am INFJ and my brother is ISTP and though we live totally different, we always enjoy a exchange of thoughts. I know he thinks I might be a little too lazy or impractical and he knows I think he's a little too much of a conspiracy theorist and that he's afraid of asking people for help or saying "thank you". But it always makes me laugh how he (he's a mechanic) tells his "mechanic helper" friends that they're dumb and that his younger sister does it better (he would never say it to me) 😂 Because I like to hear his lectures on how to do something by yourself.
Even the hyperbole is fairly accurate lolol... Thank you! I'm fairly certain there's a few INFJ creators that are actually infp... If they appeared ENFP that's completely understandable as enfp is our shadow.

You got us on everything related. My love of finding family / research, reading about their lives, wondering cemeteries to taking photos ( love photography) of gravestones to also matching those to family , to DNA matches / stuff to looking for matches to unidentified people & researching missing people to reading & watching crime & mystery stuff . It all connects somewhere .
This is very accurate. I think that the MBTI tests do tend to give out the INFJ results a bit too easily, however the reason why you see so many people online claiming to be INFJ, is probably do to the fact that they’re actively trying to find others like them, without going out & dealing with people. So yes, there would be a high representation of our type online, most others are out touching grass. I’m an INFJ who is AUDHD, & one of the biggest “symptoms” of ADHD is LOVING drama, I have to say I never resonated with that one. I avoid drama at all costs, it makes me deeply uncomfortable. UNLESS, I am watching the drama from afar & am listening completely undetected. I enjoy watching people work through things & their different styles of handling high emotional situations, but that does not mean I want to be a part of it.
Thank you for this. I have watch so many things on what an INFJ is and agreed with it all. It still didn't take away the feeling that this is all like horoscopes and could apply to anyone. So, a thing on why I am not an INFJ and disagreeing with it all is perfect. The fact that I have watched endless videos on this subject and still have questions should probably give it away, but not believing the same positive answer multiple times is what makes us INFJ's. No proof is real proof without a false negative 🤣 But here's a thing. When I was young my parents would despair with me at Christmas because I would open one present and play with it, learn all about it, before opening the next. It would take me half the day to open them all. My parents had no patience 🤣 For me, the opening of the gift was superficial. Knowing what you had been given was important. Living in the moment 🤷♂ That's gotta be INFJ, right?
I’m an ENFP and one of my main friends is a INTP. Both of us are -T’s. It’s interesting cause my friend group Im a part of is mostly Introverted and I’m one of the few Extroverts of the group yet everyone’s coming to me to hang out. Actually kind of fits with what is generally said about the campaigner type. I’m in this kind of psuedo leader position of the friend group. And I tend to mix well with a wide variety of personality types just because of how I am.
HAHAHAH This is too funny! I love this video! This is a great video! Comedy is definitely your calling! I LOVE THIS VIDEO! I couldn't stop laughing! Side note.. I am an INFJ and I absolutely love ENFP people! In truth most INFJ are not REAL TRUE INFJs! I joined FB group and most of the people in there are definitely NOT INFJ! They literally look to congregate with eachother to confirm their personal self biases with topics even though 99% of humans would agree with basic stuff! It's ridiculous since these 4 letters try to define them rather the person doesn't define INFJ>.. So backwards since most humans in the INFJ group are defined by these silly letters rather than defining the letters themselves. Give you an example: *INFJs can feel people's emotions
I was in a training with my coworkers......50 of us......we took the test and I was the only infj in the room. Then again with another group of 20, we took it and I was the only one who got infj again
Me too! So the next time we took the test I answered all the questions differently to make it look like I was an extrovert, like everybody else at that company. 😂
Thank you for the video. I cracked up 😂. Yes INFJs love and are fascinated with ppl and aren't really detached (as much as I wanted to!) Even as an 5w4 infj as I am.
I thought this would be a troll video! Im glad this is ringing true. It really is helpful to clear up these misconceptions because as a true infj who has enough trouble explaining it to those who have never heard of Carl Jung..if you are and you have tested and done your research then you are safe in the knowledge that you cant fake it..its impossible to wear this skin unless it fits!
I'm definitely an INFJ, I definitely can feel 95% of what my mom does and can guess what she's thinking and will be right. I've also looked at the personality hunt INFJ 4w3 article, and it's a perfect match. Also, which enneagram you are adds and subtracts personality traits. I'm heavily Ni but am more Fe than your typical INFJ because of being a 4w3.
The fact that I relate to almost everything you said about INFJs except for "They can easily form connections with others" I am literally the opposite of that. I am very lonely and get misunderstood a lot of the time. Trying to feel truely connected with someone is my biggest struggle
Every single line, every single point resonates with me! I took a test a year ago to find out I’m an INFJ but I didn’t believe it! But now I agree that I’m 100% INFJ
3:47 the less than a five star review is so real like I need people to be EXTRA precise when they explain their opinion to me like "I guess…" NO I NEED YOU TO BE 100% SURE…If it,s not perfection I'll be SO upset
A teacher told me Metal Health is my song I didnt know it that well so wasn't sure what to think. I told my friends. They analyzed it with me and it really fit. This one lady who was listening in objected, But, of course, no one really wants to be overrated." because in the song he says "i really wanna be overrated" and I was like "I do!" Not to be contrary, as she assumed, but because when people think I am doing a job well, looking good, keeping a clean house, organizing their pantry effectively, it amps me up to want to do as well and better if I can. I gasped so many times while watching this because a lot of the things that relate to infj's that we're mentioned in this video, resonate with me so hard 😂 Having a lot of interests that are related to eachother one way or the other. Understanding and not wanting to hurt other people's feelings, but not being a complete people pleaser. Dislikes drama. Listen if I see someone with a cut on their finger, I'd start holding my finger for dear life. 😭 And last month my 2 friends got in a major fight and they blocked eachother, but they both still talk to me on a weekly basis, and I can't choose one over the other 🥲 Edit: oh yeah. I have many interests but they are all related to artwork or cooking/health. 6. I watch a lot of tutorials and read DIY/self help books. 7. I do love to savor things. in all sorts of ways. 8. I do care a lot about other people. But, I don't want to have dialogue about it more than necessary. 9. I can be a people pleaser, up to a point. 10. Don't ask me how I''m feeling. How I'm doing. What I want out of our relationshp. Ask me somethign more real. 11. I have recently been annoyed at the Empire for calling tthe Death Star that, and specifically because it looks more like a moon. I actually took the official Myers-Briggs test from a psychiatrist about 25-30 yrs ago, and it was determined I was an INFJ. It explained a lot. It's always good to know that you're not alone... even if you are the rarest personality type.
I'm sure I was an Infp but recently I've been taking the test and I'm being 100% serious and I keep getting INFJ, I'm now here to know what I am. I wouldn't lie and say im color blind. Something so dumb and insignificant, but still wouldn't lie. Just say i like several and name off like 3-4 colors that i love. Lying makes problems down the road and i dont want to create more drama, especially over something so little.
everything in this video says i am an infj… except one but it’s maybe just my misinterpretation 😅 i am a fast learner and that’s why i hate school… cause what i hate is having to repeat over and over something i already know instead of experimenting what i want to experiment with it 😅 i got lots of problems from experimenting something about what i know about it, and refusing to make the same and boring thing just to « memorise » it… (sorry if my english is awful, i try to improve it my own way 😅 and i’m french so that’s pretty self explanatory « croissant 😅 »)
I got an ISFP-T because I misunderstood a lot, hated the result, found out about INFJs (I am -T) and now I finally get the appreciation for MBTI. Though, I still chameleon my behavior into all other 15 types.
I took the test years ago and was an infj, took it again recently and was still an infj, and took it again with two close friends who gave me their opinion of me while I was taking the test because they thought I would get something other than Infj. and I still got infj after that I became obsessed with reading about it because I've never felt so understood. I started asking people to take this test, read about their personality types, and found out that my two closest friends are both Enfjs. I found out that my own sister is also an infj, which shocked me, but is still so obvious when I think about it. We have a love-hate relationship because we understand eachother so much that it hurts. When I realized that none of the people I spoke to about this test were really interested in reading about themselves, I wondered why only infjs have such an interest in MBTI? From this I came to the conclusion that only an infj could have created this test. I googled it, and yes, Katharine Briggs was an infj, her daughter was an infp, they created this test together.
As a person that defines as an infj I am going to say what i related to: Drama: i hate drama, but i certainly won't cause more of it by acting like i feel your emotions. It's your drama not mine. I will try to help and i will be engaged (not the next time tho), but for sure won't cry and make myself the main character of others people stories. People: I love people, but also really hate big groups. How can I talk and get to know everybody, when i am not able to have a 1 on 1 conversation with everybody? I mean, I really love getting to know people. I don't like people i talk to trying to be my friends after listening to them for 4 hours, but in general I love people, lol. Criticism: I love getting feedback. I get extremely self-conscious, but at the same time I don't know if something is good, if i don't hear the opinions of other people decisions: maybe i do like to have a bit of time to think, but at the same time it's dumb to assume there are situations that there is one good way out of. Patterns: that's true af. I don't have anything to say. Everything has it;s place fast learning: i feel kind of humiliating about it lol, but sadly it;s true. detached: i don't relate. I am detached af. I am always in social groups that are extremely close to eo, but after the stuff happening together, i have to detach not to feel suffocated. feelings: i do understand the pattern of how my feelings appeared, but not what i am feeling, but it's not a problem. rebel: well i am a rebel. I keep on fighting for people i care for so i don't relate.i see both sides, but also if it hurts someone close to me and i know it wasn't their fault i will argue. GUYS PLEASE TELL ME LOL. AM I AN INFJ???? I really might not be. I don't feel like an infj. My cognitive functions are always like: Ni, Ne, Ti, Fe, Fi, Te, Se, Si
I think this confirms that I really am an infj, i can relate to almost everything on this video, and especially the own fact that I'm watching this video, cuz I'm always doubting my own type... That is one of the stereotypes of infj 😂 Great content!! I loved your video and the way you said the truth on it!
I’ve taken 4 different MBTI quizzes with INFJ as my result each time. Your video spoke to me. At this point I’m convinced. Of course maybe I should take another different one or 10 you can never be sure.
Well... I guess I'm an infj. I don't like conflict because I can feel it. The friends and potato chip analogies were especially spot on. Amazing video! 😄
So all but like maybe one of the points entirely described me so I might be an INFJ (like I’ve half-assumed for like the past year) but I’m still going to watch every UA-cam video on it cuz people keep saying I’m not. 😔
Anything less than infinity 😂😂😂 That's great. Disagree on the slack job, though. And also the jump rope. (Love learning and a good challenge in SE, just not all day long!) Great video 🎉
I took the MBTI a couple decades ago, before it was cool. And not from some pop-sci website. One from the University, the other from a corporate MBTI evaluation (it was popular with businesses at the time). Got the INFJ results then. And I got it now. I'm the real deal here.
INFJ is basically Kim Dokja of Omniscient Reader Viewpoint. We felt like the world was made for us to read. We are part of this world yet apart from it, like a reader of book, watchers of films, we are not the protagonist, nor antagonist, not even the side kicks of any stories, they say people are like books, but we INFJ are the READER, COMMENTER, & REVIEWER of life, we chose & pick which story we want to read, sometimes we stick longer, sometime we left, that is why we always felt alone, even in the middle of crowds, full of life.
Good points and entertaining! I do dislike unnecessary melodrama & stay far away from it. My interest in people got me interested in sociology & counseling as a student. As for my personal interests, they’re all connected. For ex. I play guitar, 🎹, sing, compose, record music & write lyrics/poetry. Although it was my INFP ex that got me into poetry. My other interests are related to spirituality & my educational background.
Having an anvil next to a trumpet, to a violin & erhu, to a sword collection, to an armor set, to a soldier uniform set, to a collection of medieval and steampunk sketches, to a fantasy collection book, to a philosophy & history book collection, to a vintage clothing set, to a self-made pottery set with unique new language written on it, to a typewriter, to a collection of mead, wine, and beer bottles of different varieties.... they're all connected to a theme I guess XD But wdy guys think? Also I'm an startup author for fantasy and I scream silently whilst looking at the mirror everytime I find a EUREKA plot narrative that is so emotionally intense for my characters. I kinda need the external validation so I know I'm not an imposter or got my INFJ conclusion wrong. pls validate if I'm crazy coo coo or I got it right and can go nuts on more INFJ deep dives. thanks.
I studied the cognitive functions and did shadow work instead of relying on those tests. Typing by letters is one of the worst ways to go about mbti. I have been described as being 'too extraverted' for an infj. But being social/not too social doesn't necessarily make you extroverted or vice versa. People do confuse ENFP with us because they are our shadow types and we both can act like the other in certain situations. Although ENFPs are very intuned with their intuition and empathy, it is not the same. My enfp friends tend to not have me figured out despite how goofy we both act. I'm more inquisitive and in-tuned with things around me and can entertain myself for days. I cannot stand being around others for too long and cannot confront people easily, which is a good difference between enfps and infjs (imo)
Since it seems like you know, can you answer a question for me? They say that INFJs usually do door slams, which is true, but many times people bother me but I can't get them out of my life because although I have reasons why they bother me, I feel like I'm being selfish with them, that I'm overreacting, that I'm not right. when someone gets very close to me and starts to get involved in my life, like university classmates, my nephew's friend's mother who sees her at school and asks me to go to school with her 💀, etc. The question is, although I can do doorslam, is it normal that it costs me so much too? The times I have doorslamed very important people, it was in a subtle way, gradually losing contact with them.
This video soothed my doubts of being an infj. Lately i have also been mistyped an an infp as well, which made me doubt even more, but i still did research between infp's and infj's (i still have my doubts😭)
I’m an INFP but I deeply feel others emotions. I got divorced 3 years ago and got back on the dating market. Most every woman that lists Meyers/Briggs put they are an INFJ. You talk to them for a bit and quickly realize they’re not an INFJ. Hell some of them weren’t even introverts.
Lol The irony of being :38 seconds in and I'm already called out lmao Formerly ENFP but once I found out I have AuDHD and masked a majority of my outward behaviors, I had to retest. When I went to retest 3 years after the initial test I found out a few things: 1. I took the initial test with an absolute bias towards who I WANTED to be vs recognizing the truth about my preferences. 2. I realized it was a LOT easier to take the test honestly after unmasking 3. I can't honestly take a single MBTI test without getting the INFJ result every time now lol So that's validating. Ok, now that I'm all figured out in my comment, I can resume the rest of the 9 minutes actually paying attention instead of hyperfocusing on the first 38 seconds lol
Hi it's me again 😅 lol So I made it to 3:23 before needing to pause again because YES! I constantly concern myself with whether or not I upset anyone or to what end they do or don't like me and it's never because I NEED them too. It's because I just need to know if I understand them correctly so I can better understand everyone correctly!
I took one meyers briggs test and it said I was an ENFJ. I took another and it said I was an INFJ. I took another and got INFJ again. I asked myself if by the 3rd try I was catching on to how to manipulate my answers to get a matching result, but the more I learn about INFJ traits the more I think they apply to me very well. I'm not incapable of socializing and I either don't talk, or I talk way too much, but I don't think that disqualifies me. I read Carl Jungs Personality Typology ( I think that's the tiltle:/) before i discovered silly youtube videos on the subject. Its a pretty quick read and entertaining. And so are UA-cam videos. It's a fun and fascinating subject for me, but I kinda feel an astrology projection vibe around it. People cherry pick what they want to think about themselves.
OK, so I love star wars, Episode I is and always will be my favorite. Most people complain that it has too much politics, but i got a bachelors in Poli-sci/Econ which explains why everyones biggest complaint is my favorite part. In my poli-sci research in college though, I am thoroughly convinced that the rebellion was not the ideal way of revolutionizing the government. Rebellions, even the most ones most faithful to a high-moral justification for violent revolution, leave too much of a power vacuum. The successful rebellion will be forced to either improve the immoral institutions slowly, or get rid of them completely, and there is NO human on earth who can build an adequately functional and moral government from the ground up. Basically, if the Rebellion decides to change institutions slowly, they will be faced with backlash from the people they promised quick and immediate change. The other option is breaking down the existing institutional structures immediately, and rebuilding them all from the ground up, but in the meantime the quality of life of every single person will be significantly impacted, and I highly doubt a rebellion got people bought into risking their life to make a more moral society where all the people had half the wealth. Basically, I love star wars but unfortunately the Rebellion's success was always gonna leave a decade or two of chaos and I'm not suprised the sequels just kind of ignored this very real aspect of the star wars galaxy as it wouldve made them even more politically focused then the prequels.
The reason they're so many infj in one place... Is they're so freaking obsessed and they must think, analyze and comfirm they are a infj. Tbh being an infj always gives me an existential crisis like why? What does this mean? Why im here? I gotta think through this *sips coffee inside of a cave*
That's why I went into cybersecurity, it's a profession based in paranoia.
Existential crisis resonates with me. Searching for meaning...
I usually don't comment but (sips coffee inside of a cave) made my laugh of the day.
I would say if they have to keep reaffirming that they are, chances are they are not a P-lead like an INFJ. Perhaps a J-lead instead, since INFJs rely on a probabilistic model, while J-leads (EJs and IPs) rely on a deterministic model.
I instantly doubt the legitimacy of the test and think everyone got infj. Also the rarity of infj are just a lie.

I've taken the personality test 6 times now and got INFJ every time, but I still doubt if I'm really INFJ. Why am I like this?!
Because you're INFJ lol.
My God! You may be on to something! 😂

I am a 50 year old INFJ and years 1-49 were hell on earth.
Yes. I always hated being myself as well.
Truth!
With all the awkward situations and conversations I find myself in, I have finally decided to challenge myself to not feel uncomfortable but to lean in and see where it goes. I'm going to be all by myself to process it later, and I might enjoy it all more knowing it was at least somewhat intentional by the end. 😂😂😂
I found out at 50 too....
My whole life made sense.
ENFP catfishing as an INFJ to feel a bit less basic😂😂😂
ENFPs are basic? 😲
Would tend to say INFPs are more guilty of that but the funniest is INFJs generally absolutely don't care about feeling special. Fi users tend to have a cult of their personality. That's how you can identify the difference.
@@ZuerstJesuswe are so chaotic that we think we are basic!
I honestly can't see how they would do that. I have an enfp friend and she's great but she's too "😍☀💕🥸🥰🤩🤯🫶✨" about everything to pass as an introvert lol
The INFJ is likely the only type to do this test on their own free time hahaha
Okay that's true
And yes we r insane and we r suffering!😂
Our interests are not random, true.
Agreed
EXACTLY EXACTLY

Infj can have good and creative ideas almost like enfp, but only if they are not stressed.
wow, thanks for the insights!

Im not sure about who i am..
But can you tell me if i am an infj or not. God its killing me.
I am clearly an INFJ, because I have read, discovered, analyzed, compared everything about the INFJ with myself. And the result was just right 🙂
once when i was a kid my mother and i were watching some nature/animal show on PBS. i got very upset when a lion caught an antelope. in response, my mother said, "but the lion has to eat, too!" and then my little INFJ heart imploded.
See, when I hear things like this, I feel like I couldn't possibly be an INFJ. However, I grew up killing chickens and knowing that meat comes from death. So ...
😂😂😂 how to know if you are INFJ, you can't watch this post past 51 seconds because the sound of his voice echo pounds the inside of your brain and reminds you of childhood nightmares of Kermit the frog interviewing you, probing you, and treating you like a freakazoid. Then you pause to write a comment and then your mind wanders to a Mashco Piro tribe in the Peruvian Amazon, discovered just miles from a number of logging concessions, untouched by human contact and then wish longingly that you were there... 😂😂
True. Also this video is not even made by an infj. So who cares anyway. 😏
😂😂❤
@@Takashi-mitzuya yes, I forgot to add, can't stand being defined and a little shit to boot! It is time for the world to swallow an INFJ red pill. But I am inventing the purple pill, because INFJs were born with both blue and red pills already swallowed. It is the rest of em that swallow the 💩💌💌
i thought i was infj for a while.. im actually istp.. same functions.. different order.. like i care about peoples feelings, but theyre not a priority.. not even mine.. feelings should have nothing to do with decisions MOST of the time.. there is a time and place where emotions should play a part in decision making..
Look, you! I was all settled into INFJ instead of ISFP or ISTP or anything else that seems to fit, and then you had to go say things that make sense and I'm back to questioning. (sigh) lol
@@arlettasloan6453 well ask yourself.. how much is group harmony and social norms a priority to you? as an istp. it makes me anxious but I try to avoid them. are you more uncomfortable with your performance? or are you more socially uncomfortable. you can tell your type by guessing your inferior function too..
But it always makes me laugh how he (he's a mechanic) tells his "mechanic helper" friends that they're dumb and that his younger sister does it better (he would never say it to me) 😂 Because I like to hear his lectures on how to do something by yourself.
we suck at mechanics, due to out thinking.@@askarufus7939
Infjs are interested in philosophy and psychology
Oh. If it is supposed to be THAT connecte, maybe I can't check that one off.
Definitely not an infj 😮💨
I'm sorry, and, congratulations!
6:12 INFJ watching ISTP work and learning vicariously haha so wholesome
Ngl, I learned graphic design by watching graphic designers work 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Even the hyperbole is fairly accurate lolol... Thank you!
I'm fairly certain there's a few INFJ creators that are actually infp... If they appeared ENFP that's completely understandable as enfp is our shadow.
"Like those logo ball point pens!" Best analogy ever! I've been "professionally tested" Myers Briggs wasn't considered real at the time *shrugs* both came back INFJ, i've never tested anything else "online" either. I don't go around screaming from the top of the mountain "HEY IM A INFJ!" This is the first non Wenzes video I've watched. LOL! I Went to a meet up, only one ever and prolly never again, and all these people were "infj's".... O,o. Someone who was ENFP walked up to me and I Was in the corner and they said "Dude... You seem like the only real INFJ here uhhh what gives?" I then wrote on my phone "Ummm, I just realized.... INFJ is rare. It's pokemon. People wanna collect it. Wanna go grab a coffee and get out of here?" The person laughed and then said "Lets go catchem all!" Was enjoyable getting coffee with them believe it or not.
"INFJ'S LOVE TO THINK ABOUT THINGS" I have a philosophy degree *head-desk* F@#!! I also owned a hammock *head-desk* Looking at my interests... Completely random and unrelated to each other *head-desk* STOP TRIGGERING ME :P Oh lord the tutorial videos *sinks to ground* The hammer metaphor OH LORD! Friendship bluetooth :( Deer in headlights check. Favorite Colour oof I do have one.... Its specific af lol, I just don't tell people because well its specific af and only one company makes it.
No proof is real proof without a false negative 🤣
But here's a thing.
Ahahahah the enfp room sounds like my room but im an entp
could be either
It's the Ne room
Give you an example:
*INFJs can feel people's emotions
I agree about people showing up as INFJ's & It not being true. This video was hysterical! Thank you for confirming that I still am an INFJ. 😅
I used to have that traits but i managed to control what i need to feel and don't get burnt out, thank you i like this channel and how funny it is.
An INFP perfectly describing an INFJ. I couldn't have done this. Your perception is amazing!!!!
I never felt so called out by a video in my life….. Im an INFJ and you make very good points here 😂
Now I am sure I am an infj
glad to help
If I weren't an ENFJ, I'd be so surprised why this vid made me feel like an INFJ.
The fact that I relate to almost everything you said about INFJs except for "They can easily form connections with others"
I am literally the opposite of that.
The way the lyrics actually are, not how they are found on most sites now. Even if they think it more than I actually earned that reputation.
@@arlettasloan6453 this feeling is so real but then the better you are doing the higher their assumptions about you gets and then it gets hard to keep up with those expectations
My friend, believe me, if I had a choice between being an INFJ or not being an INFJ, I would choose not to be one.
Tearing up at the comment section i can feel the positive energy it’s so overwhelming it’s beautiful I’ve never seen a happier comment section
Yeah, my comment section is great lol :D
5:19 accurate description of my room …. did you sneak in?
This video it's soo good xd
"But they aren't ENFJs. While ENFJs would give you one kidney, AND the other as a backup. INFJs would give you just one". HAHAHHAHA TRUE OMG
I had to double check to make sure i was an infj.. after watching this video I can confirm that as an infj this video was too accurate
I gasped so many times while watching this because a lot of the things that relate to infj's that we're mentioned in this video, resonate with me so hard 😂
Having a lot of interests that are related to eachother one way or the other.
Understanding and not wanting to hurt other people's feelings, but not being a complete people pleaser.
Dislikes drama.
Listen if I see someone with a cut on their finger, I'd start holding my finger for dear life. 😭
And last month my 2 friends got in a major fight and they blocked eachother, but they both still talk to me on a weekly basis, and I can't choose one over the other 🥲
Edit: oh yeah. And I'm learning how to program a visual novel, but I watched like 20 videos on it before writing my very first line of code 😃 I have only done 1 line... Give me 60 more tutorials and maybe I'll be half done 😄
oooof, hate inner friend drama like that. Good luck on the visual novel though :D
@@TrebleKnight thank you
Sure we can think on our feet, we just cannot translate it to a human language off the hammock or before having an espresso!
Came here doubting my INFJness. Had it confirmed on all accounts. Also the rebellious graphic tee part was wayyy too relatable.
1.I so-o hate drama.
(saw lots of drama from many alleged INFJ and that sent me on this hunt for what I really am and now I am back to probaby INFJ)
2. I do figure out way too much time to find out if people like me.
3. I hate criticism. I like constructive criticism.
(Ie: "You are stupid" vs. "I think you miscalculated there because you didn't learn new math." )
4. I like to think slow and be 3%-25% in the moment uness its dancing, prayer or sex.
Guess I really am an INFJ.
I do have a favorite color ! But it depends on what i want for my mood, what feeling i want to feel in a room, basically my favorite color depends on a lot. But usually its orange or yellow. Lately its been green. And its definitely pink !!! I love pink and orange. And green. Oh and gold.
Edit: I can't belive ive been living my life identifying myself with a type that it isn't even mine, all the time I saw infp characters I always thought on how I would look for a solution, how I wouldn't just live crying without taking action, Im sure now, Im an INFJ but still I can't be it because despite having all the traits you described... im pretty messy T_T
I wouldn't lie and say im color blind. Something so dumb and insignificant, but still wouldn't lie. Just say i like several and name off like 3-4 colors that i love. Lying makes problems down the road and i dont want to create more drama, especially over something so little.
everything in this video says i am an infj… except one but it’s maybe just my misinterpretation 😅 i am a fast learner and that’s why i hate school… cause what i hate is having to repeat over and over something i already know instead of experimenting what i want to experiment with it 😅
i got lots of problems from experimenting something about what i know about it, and refusing to make the same and boring thing just to « memorise » it… (sorry if my english is awful, i try to improve it my own way 😅 and i’m french so that’s pretty self explanatory « croissant 😅 »)
2:17 EXACTLY !! But I am working towards not absorbing peoples emotions anymore because it’s not good for my health 😢
I got an ISFP-T because I misunderstood a lot, hated the result, found out about INFJs (I am -T) and now I finally get the appreciation for MBTI. Though, I still chameleon my behavior into all other 15 types.
Also, I appreciate INFPs, including men like you, you make me feel more positive :)
As a person that defines as an infj I am going to say what i related to:
Drama: i hate drama, but i certainly won't cause more of it by acting like i feel your emotions.
I get extremely self-conscious, but at the same time I don't know if something is good, if i don't hear the opinions of other people
decisions: maybe i do like to have a bit of time to think, but at the same time it's dumb to assume there are situations that there is one good way out of.
Patterns: that's true af. I don't have anything to say. Everything has it;s place
fast learning: i feel kind of humiliating about it lol, but sadly it;s true.
detached: i don't relate.
Yeah I’m 100 % an INFJ
I’ve taken 4 different MBTI quizzes with INFJ as my result each time. Your video spoke to me. At this point I’m convinced. Of course maybe I should take another different one or 10 you can never be sure.
I get INFJ and INFP on 16 personalities. So I've researched sooooo much. And unfortunatley im an INFJ lol .
Well... I guess I'm an infj. I don't like conflict because I can feel it. The friends and potato chip analogies were especially spot on. Amazing video! 😄
Glad you liked it!
So all but like maybe one of the points entirely described me so I might be an INFJ (like I’ve half-assumed for like the past year) but I’m still going to watch every UA-cam video on it cuz people keep saying I’m not. 😔
Anything less than infinity 😂😂😂
That's great.
Disagree on the slack job, though. And also the jump rope. (Love learning and a good challenge in SE, just not all day long!)
Great video 🎉
5:57 😂😂😂😂😂😂 please stop exposing me .. yes I mean keep going because you are right ..
I took the MBTI a couple decades ago, before it was cool. And not from some pop-sci website. One from the University, the other from a corporate MBTI evaluation (it was popular with businesses at the time). Got the INFJ results then. And I got it now. I'm the real deal here.
Wow, now I understand my life
INFJ is basically Kim Dokja of Omniscient Reader Viewpoint.
Interesting
I kinda need the external validation so I know I'm not an imposter or got my INFJ conclusion wrong. pls validate if I'm crazy coo coo or I got it right and can go nuts on more INFJ deep dives. thanks.
I think this means I am an INFJ, and it hits me that we are like hobbits
Lately i have also been mistyped an an infp as well, which made me doubt even more, but i still did research between infp's and infj's
(i still have my doubts😭)
infj here. can confirm when i got in a fight i felt the punches i threw
You just confirmed it for me after numerous videos and reading up on INFJ
that's good
I am a fast learner but I also love to dive down into it and know everything i can beyond the required reading
This video is such fun tripping people all the way lmao
Lol The irony of being :38 seconds in and I'm already called out lmao
Formerly ENFP but once I found out I have AuDHD and masked a majority of my outward behaviors, I had to retest.
When I went to retest 3 years after the initial test I found out a few things:
1. I took the initial test with an absolute bias towards who I WANTED to be vs recognizing the truth about my preferences.
2. I realized it was a LOT easier to take the test honestly after unmasking
3. I can't honestly take a single MBTI test without getting the INFJ result every time now lol So that's validating.
Ok, now that I'm all figured out in my comment, I can resume the rest of the 9 minutes actually paying attention instead of hyperfocusing on the first 38 seconds lol
Hi it's me again 😅 lol
So I made it to 3:23 before needing to pause again because YES!
I constantly concern myself with whether or not I upset anyone or to what end they do or don't like me and it's never because I NEED them too.
It's because I just need to know if I understand them correctly so I can better understand everyone correctly!
I cry with just a word out of turn from someone I care about
Well that was scary. How on earth did you get into my house and into my head? 🤯 Spot on.
youre a fucking beast for this haha! Thank you for bringing the facts! Something that is very rare these days. Definitely earned a sub
One of my favorite sayings is “Don’t bring me agita.” 😂
