@@SintoJoseph I ran into an issue with refilling these tanks. They can not be refilled at welding supply stores because the tank is to small. They can’t be refilled at a paintball shop because the fitting is different. You can get an adaptor but The paintball stores still might turn you down because it’s still a different tank and they might not feel comfortable filling it. But For the time being I had to spent another 60 bucks on a new full tank to try and figure out my Dilemma. Then I went to a welding store and brought the Ista regulator with me and he hooked me up with a 5ib tank that works for the regulator at a fair price. I would recommend getting a bigger tank if you have trouble refilling like I did. It will also last awhile. As my 1l ista tank lasted 2 months on my 55 gal tank. I also live in the US.
@@Dirtbikeboy557 I am living in india and haven't tried to refill as my cylinder is still loaded. Welding shop and paintball shop hmm I will try and make a video probably for co2 refill.
@@SintoJoseph that would be awesome if you do! Another tip for you is when you see the PSI start to drop slowly that’s a solid indication that you’ll have about a week or 2 of co2 left. I may make a video on it as well. You are the best though bro! Love the videos!! You got my Sub!
It is not worth it if you have a busy life. You have to take care of unwanted CO2 formation, Bubble per second set up changes sometimes and pipes also clog due to the solution. I have made a video about problems of DIY CO2 on my channel.
Hi Sinto, did your cylinder get empty? Could you get it refill? Need to know before I make the decision to go ahead. Your experience on refill will be very helpful. Thank you.
No refill till now the cylinder is still running on the initial setting of 1 bubble per sec on my 6 gallon planted aquarium. I use it for 10 hours daily with light. So good so far.
Normal CO2 filling stations may turn ISTA cylinders away since some adapter is needed for filling these bottles. Some of the shops do fill ISTA cylinders. Check locally before investing in ISTA CO2 cylinders.
Wasted money! Lol , you will get complete pressurised co2 sytem at 9k .2kg co2 cylinder cost 3.5k , co2 regulator 4k , diffuser 900 and co2 tubing 5ft at 400₹ .

how mny days will get c02 ???
it depends on the size of your aquarium and the number of bubbles per second you have set.
I have not understood the concept of the timer. Could you please explain it briefly how to set it
To regulate the timing of co2 the timer is used. It is required to set the co2 for 8 hours per day.
What is the cost of the CO2 CYLINDER REFILL ? we have to buy REFILL cans is it cost effective ?
I have not done refill yet but I heard that it can be refilled in soda factory or other such facilities.

I checked with local gas refill and they said it is not refillable as it a very small and can burst
I have not refill my cylinder yet so I cannot tell. As far as I know it needs some adapter if its not refillable directly. Try doing some research.
