You made short work of a really difficult lock. Great vid, and world class picking as always 😁👍

This is really good, I now have an idea of how to approach my twin combi, semi set the barrels, set sidebar, set barrels.
Makes a lot more sense, thanks!

I'm really happy to hear my video helped you out :)
How is the progress coming with the lock?

Nice work man, I had the toughest time with my combi... It's such a beast of a lock, well done!

Thanks for watching the video! I spent a lot of time learning it, especially the fingerpins... It took me about 20min on average the first few times i opened it, then after the first few handful, it went to about 11min. I haven't had a lock that took me so much work to figure out how to get better at it AFTER I had already figured out how to pick it... lol

You also have a great week!
Thanks for coming by and watching, also for the really kind comment :)
It's definitely fun to pick, now that I know what I'm doing with it, that is haha

Nice work, and thanks for the commentary as you did it! It's not easy to do both at the same time (:

      Thank you very much :)
I love talking through what I'm feeling, it was indeed very difficult when i fist started making videos like these, but it definitely got easier. I also think that talking through what I'm doing has helped me to get better

Great video. Do you think this is more or less difficult than the assa 6000 twin?

      Thank you 😀!
Very interesting question, and it's not a simple answer in my books.
I learned the exclusive (same as 6k, but more restrictive keyway) before i learned the v10 or the combi.
The v10 was very easy to learn, especially after the exclusive. The barrels were a bit harder on the v10 then the exclusive, but the sidepins were much harder on the exclusive then the v10. The combi's fingerpins are a totally different feel and provide a very unique feedback. It was harder to get used to that feedback then the exclusive sidepins, and took longer to understand. But now that I confidently know how fingerpins feel/work, I would say the 6k sidepins are a tad harder.
That being said, the barrels on the combi are the hardest I've come across yet, and the fact that this lock doesn't isolate, makes it harder overall then the 6k/exclusive in my mind.
Ps. On a sidenote, I haven't tried a 6k with gins, only barrels, so I can't speak on the gin variant

Haha thanks brother, I have been away for a while due to personal things, but I am planning to return to video making hopefully soon!
First of all I moved, and am still organizing everything haha, secondly I've been very busy with my work as an apprenticing locksmith. Lastly, but probably the main reason I've been away is because my grandfather (the guy who's voice is at the start of all my videos) was not doing well over the last few months. Unfortunately he just passed away on Monday after a very long battle with cancer and dementia. That being said, I do want to get back to making videos soon.
I can't tell you how much it means to me to have gotten so much support over the few months I was making videos. The fact you are going out of your way to check in and let me know you miss me, warms my heart more then I can say with words ❤
