You and Marlena from Makeup Geek is what made me get into makeup to begin with ❤️ My life turned into a mess and these last 3 years have been the worste of my life. I fell into a depression,lost myself,had no joy in life. The few times I had to go to an event,I would apply makeup but there was no joy in it. Things have slowely been looking up and I've started to feel happy again. I started getting back into watching makeup content on YT,especially yours, the last couple of months and I already feel excited to do self-care, get dressed,put on makeup etc etc. Watching you again has reminded me of who I used to be and I am so grateful for that. (Doesn't help with the sleep loss, but at least it wasn't the real deal) Upside, you at leat get to be alerted and have some time to collect yourself, grab your kids and most important stuff and go cover... I live in Chile and our disaster of preference is earthquake (local jokes goes like "8 out of 10 earthquackes choose Chile") aaaand, well, there is no warning one second you are sleeping and the next second you are praying to your creator for mercy. The L'oreal balm in gloss that you used at the end is one of my favorite formulas and the colors are gorgeous. It's just the heavy old-school rose scent that I can't take. If they made them scented like the Lifter glosses are... they would easily become my favorite lip product of all time.
I’ve used the Elf hydro Camo Concealer forever, but I’ve been loving the concealer from Real Beauty too. It’s a little thinner, but it really brightens my under eye. On mornings I haven’t slept well the night before I use both. Love your videos!

Emily -- please revisit Bare Minerals and do a post. I just went back to the loose foundation and forgot how much I love it. It's fantastic for coverage of red spots and blemishes -- especially when adding the concealer power.

When I was growing up we had a holiday home in a costal town in Victoria Australia. Come the winter there would often be a thick fog particularly during the night. I still remember clearly the sound of the foghorn that I think came from the lighthouse and it was creepy as creepy can be, yet somehow I loved the erriness of it all.
How disruptive, but I guess better to be forewarned just in case! On to the makeup. Your love for this Smokin' Hot palette makes me think about the Urban Decay Naked Heat and Rimmel Spice Edition looks, Tartelette Toasted and whatever the heck Too Faced was promoting at the time. It seems like this is the mother of all those warm eyeshadow collections but several years later, curated with more textures and it's pretty. I don't mind when something comes back around if I feel like it's better than before. 😁

I just bought the L’Oréal Superstar mascara. It’s just a black/silver tube but everything else is the same. Same primer and wand. I realized that’s the shape wand I like. Paradise is nice and the CG, but I figured out the wand doesn’t work for me. Listen, I grew up watching LH. My daughter Rachel just decided to start watching it. It wasn’t a thing when she was a kid. (She’s 23 now). I think she’s on S6 now. I told her there are some very intense episodes!!! They do have ratings on them. That’s very helpful.

I have the same 2 shades of the Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring Blush as you! 😎 I wore Golden Hour yesterday, and was out running errands on a hot humid afternoon. I caught sight of my face in the rearview mirror, and my cheeks looked so poreless and smooth! Which was weirdly incongruous because the rest of my face was a shiny mess. 🙈 Next time I will wear it over a matte foundation, not a serum one 🤪

I love the elf hydrating camo concealer, I like using it as a sheer foundation some days when I want a simple and quick look but still get just a bit of coverage over all. Is it it’s purpose? No, but it’s great, I’m in the shade medium peach ❤❤❤ also absolutely love you, I’ve been watching you since I was in my preteen years and you’ve always been a constant comfort ❤❤❤
I just saw that Scrub Daddy has a toilet scrubber like that but you can either plop the remaining scrub/soap in the toilet or in the back of the toilet to get that blue water. I ordered one. Less than $20.
We live out in the country but do happen to have a tornado siren nearby. I agree it’s a creepy feeling when that goes off. Several years ago it was not working but our area was in a tornado warning so the sheriff was driving up and down the country roads saying “tornado take cover” over his loud speaker! Talk about creepy!!
