RhB Rhätische Bahn in 4K - Ende RE mit EW I und EW II, Story Bremsleitungen, Rhaetian Railway trains

- Im Jahr 2023 feiert die Ge 4/4 II das 50. Jubiläum. Vier Maschinen der ersten Serie werden wohl Ende 2023 abgestellt, aber die Loks der 2. Serie sind mit Dualbremse und ZSI 127 ausgestattet. Im Video werden aus der 2. Lieferserie die Lok 621, 627, 630 und 623 gezeigt.
ABER: Die Einsätze der Ge 4/4 II mit den Einheitswagen sind zu Ende. Einheitswagen 1 sind fast alle verschrottet/verkauft/abgestellt. Alle RE sind ab Dezember 2023 umgestellt auf Triebzüge.
Aber im Film sind noch zu sehen, die über lange Jahre hinweg bekannten RE mit Ge 4/4 II und den Einheitswagen.
Ein spezielles Kapitel widmet sich den Bremsleitungen der Ge 4/4 II.
Im Laufe der Jahre wurde diese immer weiter ergänzt - inzwischen sind alle Loks der zweiten Serie mit der Dualbremse nachgerüstet und können somit auch Alvra-Züge bespannen.

👏👏👍👍👍 ein echt schöner Film, mal gespannt was sie so noch gedreht haben.
Danke für das Lok, ja da kommt noch was. Teil 4 wird was ganz spezielles über dei Ge 4/4 II mit beinhalten.
Sehr schönes Videos über die Ge 4/4 II. Auch wenn die schmucke Lok zum Glück noch nicht komplett am Ende ist, so wird sie wohl in Zukunft primär noch im Güterzugdienst, beim Glacier Express und als Reserve zum Einsatz kommen und das Ende der klassischen Einheitswagen mit Ge 4/4 II ist definitiv das Ende einer Ära.
Allegra, Alvra und Capricorn bringen alle mehr Komfort und Annehmlichkeiten, aber ich werte die Vielseitigkeit der letzten 20-30 Jahre vermissen. Ge 4/4 I, Ge 4/4 II, Ge 4/4 III, Ge 6/6 II, Allegras, Stammnetzpendel, die alten Be 4/4, Abe 4/4 II, Abe 4/4 III und Capricorn alle die letzten 10 Jahren gemeinsam mit EW I-IV, Bernina Express Wagen, Glacier Express Wagen und Alvras zum Einsatz kommen zu sehen war als Fan immer toll, denn selten waren 2 Züge 1 zu 1 gleich. Gerade die Albula Schnellzüge in den 2000er und 2010ner waren teilweise wild. Die RhB macht sich fit für die Zukunft, aber ein gewisser Charme wird verloren gehen.

Ja, ich finde auch die Züge mit EW1 und EW2 schön, aber war immer heil froh, dass ich den IR mit Alvra von Samedan nach Filisur oder gar nach Chur im Sommer nehmen konnte und im Zug die angenehme Klimaanlage hatte. So wie es ist, so ist es - aber es gibt immer noch schöne Sachen dank RhB Historic. Ein Krokodil von Filisur bis Davos oder alte Triebwagen am Bernina plus Extrazüge von RhB Historic werden dadurch ganz anders geschätzt. Ich habe noch Rohmaterial aus 2020-2022: da kommt noch was.
Immer wieder schön und informativ hier reinzuschauen. Die Gm 4/4 241 ist in neuer Farbe in Brohl angekommen. LG Dieter

I understand, that the progress cannot be stopped, but... I hope they preserve and operate at least some of these loks and wagons, because EMUs like Allegra and Capricorn are too plain to be watched at. I watch RhB since 2019 and was absolutely admired by diversity of rolling stock. Now it seems to gradually come to an end...
Thank you for your feedback. Of course the RhB has an organization that preserves the older locomotives and wagons. But the normal trains no longer run one train every hour, but two trains every hour. This means that even if you still have older trains, there is hardly any space left for such extra trains. There are not two tracks, but only one. And the RhB has already canceled trips with special trains because there are too few train drivers. Good thing I still have film material. Another film from me with the theme of RhB will be released in January 2024. PS: Did you use the UA-cam translation? Hope you could understand all.

Thanks for the detail photos and the informative audio about the changes to the braking systems and other valuable info for us model railroaders. I keep looking for your drone to fly thru the tunnels one day! Beautiful drone work along with your track side capture. Are there two of you doing the filming? Hi Don, thanks for the compliment. I film everything alone. Two cameras, both on tripods and a drone. If I don't fly with the drone, then one on the tripod and the second camera in the hand with Gimal. But yes, it is a lot of effort to plan this in advance. The position of the sun, the possible movements of the trains. And sometimes you fail - because I'm not a professional. But one thing helps me: if I want to film something special, I can ask the RhB and then I'll get support. I'm happy if they like the films about the RhB. I can follow the English translation but chuckle at the spelling of Kur and other words! I'd like to place an ask from you for some thru the side windows views of the engine rooms of the Ge 4/4 II for modeling purposes. Interior overall views would be wonderful too. So wold the driver's control panel. I'm trying to detail the LGB model and trying to figure out the metal walls w/ gasketed windows. Appreciate any efforts. By the way, loco 632! =D=@@kurtwolfert

Thank you for the compliment. The RhB is not the big topic for railway viewers worldwide. I have an ICE route 3 kilometers away that travels at 300 km/h. If I filmed them, I would get maybe 100 times the clicks. But I only film what I enjoy and not what the mainstream is looking for. And I also make films for myself so that I can watch the films for the rest of my life.
