As one of the chatters said, I kinda regret playing this game so much before it released. Now I'm excited to see the new content but I kinda hate collecting stuff and building up my factories for the hundredth time, but I also don't want to switch to sandbox mode because I want to get the achievements. Its kinda sad. Maybe I'll wait a couple of years until I forget everything and play again then...
They changed ADA's voice lines, like all of them, added a couple recipe changes, new fauna, and the alien artifacts are actually useful so there is a much bigger push to exploring the map. I had 1200 hours in Satisfactory prior to 1.0 (though I did take the last ~6 months off) and I'm deep into Phase 3 already. The early game has enough new stuff to keep me entertained, and if you already understand some basics of optimization you can blast through the first 5 tiers pretty quick.

30:05 I and O are basically a reference to binary 1 & I mean that power is flowing or that there is something flowing and 0 & O mean than there is no power or that there is nothing flowing also just writing this as what I hope is a better explanation to 32:20 fun fact the power button is a combination of I & O because it does both power on and off
Biomass burners only burn fuel when there is a power drain (unlike coal and oil power sources) So if no machine is running you don't burn any fuel, despite any animation/description. This makes Biomass a good backup power for small setups. Or to handle small spikes that might go over your normal limit.

I can be playing the game for 10 minutes and suddenly I get a notification saying that it's been 12 hours and I die a little inside.
i took a big hiatus from this game so i could be super excited and ready to play 1.0 and since i got back on ive put 160 hours into my new save in just the past week and a half. the rare times in not playing are filled with watching new people play this game for the first time and its really fun
Ooh! As an alpha/beta player, this was absolutely the reaction I was looking for. I wanted to see what this was like for someone new. I'll have to binge this series when I'm not on lunchbreak

The attention to detail, especially in small animations and such as you've already noticed is top notch.Sound is excellent, the unreal engine is great. The most surprising thing is *movement* in Satisfactory is so much better than it has any right to be. The ways you eventually traverse the world and your factories is soooo satisfying. It's better than the vast majority of first person games.

Welcome to Satisfactory! It was funny seeing you try to make just enough mats to cover your milestone costs. Since your current vid has you messing with pipes I don't feel like I'm backseating by saying to any newcomers. Don't be afraid to mass make things. Like at the start here, just get a couple stacks of iron ore, make one stack into rods and the second stack in to plates and you'll be just fine! You'll even still have to make more! For my comments I'll probably give a simple hint but nothing game breaking. Happy factory building!

There is things the game wont teach you and are almost impossible to find out. Like there is a world grid you can build on by holding ctrl to place the first foundation of abuilding to ensure you can connect paths between roads or what ever you want to build. tap spacebar to automatically handbuild stuff and not to hold the mouse all the time until your hand falls off. 3th its addicting ;D.
I don't think I've ever been so torn about a game. I so badly want to buy at the same time very much doubt I'll stick with it. Math makes me angry lol.
For the most part the math is pretty simple. You can overclock/under clock to get really nice ratios. I would recommend giving it a shot if it goes on sale
When I first watched your vids it was the subnautica playthrough. I was hoping then you would end up playing Satisfactory, should be a fun series to see how you handle the logistics.
You said you were about to spend the next 400 hours on the game. My friend, I'm sorry to inform you it will be far worse than that. My first save had 700+ hours....and I didnt even finish Project Assembly. I still had more to do! Have fun!!! 🤣
Switch is marked open and closed circuit lol. O is open circuit or broken wire and the line is a closed circuit or connected wire. O = open = off I = closed circuit = on
The I and O on switches are supposed to be binary? I always thought they stood for O for Open and I for closed, like imaging the I is you pushing the two sides of the O together making it closed.
you don't have switches where you live? I and O is standard european symbols for every switch it's on pc, extender cords and pretty much every REAL machine
Just to spare you from hurting your finger by crafting, you can press 'Space' once and it will craft it
I recently found out that pressing "E" to pick up leaves works the same way!
@@HumanShield117 although you have to press E to pick up leaves once but keep it pressed after you picked one leaf to keep picking them up.
