Lot of Crows fans in the comments. How you going, how are the churches? Support services are available if these videos upset you. One time, I went to Adelaide. And it was a Sunday morning in the CBD and i could see all the way down the street. You could never do that in Melbourne, your view would be obstructed by hustle and bustle. Anyway hopefully your club does good. Go Crom.

SCENES AT THE ADELAIDE OVAL
what a great end, go crom ✊🏼
Honestly! Just how bloody good is Huddo
I love this channel so much, the videos are always great and well made.
Freo
I love this channel... I don't think people know how hard it is to analyse how complicated AFL is in terms of constructing a premiership team. From the Draft to trades and contracts. It's not as well publicated than other sports in The US. I recon it'll be interesting to see how the Hawks Dynasty was formed in 2008 and destroyed a sure thing in Geelong. A definite rivalry there.
Brilliant video. Would love to see a video on the Brisbane Lions "Go home 5" and how their rebuild got them from wooden spoon to top 4 within only a few years.
whatever happened in that camp eroded the foundations of the team for a number of years, the management of the Crows was never transparent about this camp and what went on, the couple of players who gave great testimonies about this silly camp, they will never say anything about it, followed by a number of players leaving of which they cited the experiences in that camp. What disappoints me the most, is that a number of my fellow Crows supporters were either in denial, delusional, or maybe both as it concerns the camp, never asking about what went on.
from being a dominant team in 2017 being runner-up for that season, within 12 months being the punching bag of the AFL, we will never get the answers about what went on in that camp, that not only destroyed the confidence of players in the team, but also destroyed the trust each player had in one another.
thankfully the players that gave shining testimonies about the camp, may not have much longer left in their careers, one might end up calling it quits by season's end.
Feels like a part 3 will need to come out after the new revelations that have surfaced recently
As a port supporter, I was absolutely loving this video up until the 8:44 mark. Fair play. Great video, love this kind of content about the AFL.
2007 GF
that was the best part
Love the cheeky go crom at the end 😉, honestly this is fantastic stuff mate! Love your work
A blessing to everyone’s feed. Keep grinding.
2 Jagger uploads in a week? We are blessed.
Love this channel so much, very good follow up video! Would love to see a potential video on maybe discussing who’s dynasty is the greatest of all time? Brisbane or Hawthorn?
Ya know it’s a good day when jagger skilbeck uploads
Thank you for a level headed analysis of my club. So much noise. So many headlines... Great job of putting forward the narrative without getting caught up in the clicks
Every one of your videos is top notch. Love the hard work mate. Keep pumping these out.
Tied naked to trees and blindfolded and had the 🐯 song on loop had me 💀 great vid mate.
Love these, can’t wait for you to get the recognition you deserve :)
Really enjoying the content you are putting out, please keep making it. 🙏

Amazing channel and yet another amazing video, keep up the great work man this is the AFL content we need
Fantastic videos every time, thank you for all the hours of entertainment
Love the channel! Keep making good vids.
Me and my family are big Richmond supporters my great grandfather played for Richmond in the early 1920s, sad about dusty. Your videos are great keep it up brother
great having footy content like this 🙏🏽
Please keep finding these story’s there great
This is great, you should do a video on Melbournes rise to glory
Hey mate love your channel and videos easily the best AFL vids on yt! Any chance you could do a vid on the 08 hawks or how they came back from missing the finals the year after? Could be entertaining
Love the content mate, any chance we get one on the Demons premiership last year?
Perhaps
Jagger you're a gun mate, great work yet again
Fantastic research and video!
You should make a video on Fremantle. Idk if there even enough of a story to tell but they're my team so I'd love to see it haha
You and FootyA2Z make some real detailed footy videos and its much appreciated
One topic I'd love to see you cover would be the Fremantle side of 2012-2014. They never got the credit at the time or since for how good a side they were; Sandilands, Pavlich, Mundy, Fyfe, Barlow, Neale, Mayne, Walters, Ballantyne, and my favorite tagger of all time... Ryan Crowley!
Mzungu, Suban, McPharlin, Johnson, Clarke.....
I second this. Very underated
Great videos any chance of swans content?
Two videos within a week...? That’s a new record!
0:57 "players coming back to the club out of shape"
Still 100% more in shape then me...🤣
Main Reasons For The Crows Downfall (In My Opinion):
1. Reputation Tarnished After Getting Their Asses Kicked In The Grand Final
2. Players Heartbroken After Losing The Grand Final Even Though They Were Favourites To Win
3. So Many Players Leaving The Club Post 2017 (Eddie Betts, Charlie Cameron, Hugh Greenwood, Rory Atkins, Josh Jenkins, Mitch McGovern)
4. The Infamous Crows Camp Which Would’ve Obviously Ruined The Players Friendship and Trust With Eachother
5. Unmotivated Squad During The 2018 Preseason Which Lead To Some Players Being Unfit And Playing Poorly
6. Media Reports Of The Crows 2017/18 Preseason Camp Flew Around.
7. Adelaide Crows Then Became A Laughing Stock After The Horrific 2018-19 Seasons.
8. Don Pyke Stepping Down As Coach.
9. Drafting Younger Players And Starting A Complete Rebuild In 2020 (Also The Wooden Spoon Season)
10. Mediocre Seasons In 2021/22 Which Sees The Crows A Shell Of The Former 2017 Team.
But There Are Glimpses Of Hope For The Crows In The Upcoming Future!
can you please do the melbourne tanking scandle
You should do a video on the Kennett curse or a video on what if Gary Ablett snr never left hawthorn. Love your vids👍
Best afl documentaries on UA-cam but could you do one on trealor or hawthorns triple premiship
Love Your Channel So Much!!
Amazing work as always 👍
As a Hawks fan, I find it endlessly amusing to look back on the 2017 GF and how the power stance Crows had their pants pulled down on the biggest stage of them all by an underdog. Tex had already reserved a seat for the cup next to him on the flight home the silly goose. They never recovered from their arrogance all these years later 😂
Someone on BigFooty put it best at the time.... Would you rather be standing next to PowerRanger stance Tex? Or have Dusty's arm around your shoulder?
YES!!
I love your content keep it up buddy
Incredible videos keep up the good work
Could we get a video on the Sydney swans 2010’s success? Would be a good one!
I think you mean 2012 but yeah I'd love to see him do a Swannies video. Go Bloods!
“COLA” done it for you
Sam got his award reinstated and there has been an independent physiologist review into the program who found some unsettling practices which may trigger investigations from SA work safe and the AFL integrity committee. Also talks of class action or individual law suits from players. I still don't think this saga is finished.
Nice work! I reckon the leaking of personal information about players that was then used to abuse them during a challenge may have done the damage. How can you trust senior staff again if they're going to do that to you?
Maybe it wasn't the camp at all. Plenty of teams have crashed the year after a GF.
YESSSSSSSSSS
Love the vids
great video, love the commentry. unneccesary ending though #dontgocrom
Could you do the Wayne Carey Scandal after 1999 premiership and how it affected North Melbourne
Honestly, perfect channel.
In light of Josh Jenkins and others testimony in 2022 I'd say there are some people with some serious questions to answer. That is, of course, if there is any truth to the allegations. I'm always pretty skeptical of these corporate psychology and high performance gurus. A lot of them have no real experience in a high performing environment in any industry and have miraculously failed upwards. Some guys are ex-military and whilst there is definitely value in their training it's not always applicable to civilian life.
Awesome AFL videos 🙏
Why don’t you do a vid about what happened to gws in 2019 and 2020
Watched part 1 of this one & it is very fascinating to see an destruction of the team plus nine caved in to pressure by not supporting the 2 people that were critical toward that infamous training camp
Nine caved in because they were proven wrong in a court of law, and the wild claims made by half baked journalists were also proven to be wrong.
There was no caving, they were wrong, and if they pursued it any further they were going to lose millions of dollars.
Should make a video about the Geelong cats team from 07-2011
If I had to listen to the Richmond theme song on repeat I would go insane.
Thanks for a great video !
woooo our young side just beat a Richmond side starting to wane, this could be the day we go back to full circle.... go CROMM!!!
Jordan Dawson is undeniably the gift sent from God
Awesome content bro
Opinions on the lead up to the Granny will always be coloured by the result, imo. It's anticipation if you win, stress if you lose. Similarly, if Richmond had lost would their positive relaxed pre-game outlook be seen as arrogance?
Should do a video on the kennet curse that will be a good videos
In a book by former Formula 1 team principal Ross Brawn, he breaks down the set of rules he followed in creating an elite sporting organisation. One of the rules is to avoid unnecessary conflict- in other words avoid internal division. This is a big reason why the Crows took so long to move on from this saga. It appears from the outside that the football department were not willing to properly mend relationships with players and this just emphasized the mistrust the players felt towards the club. All the external bullshit is somewhat unavoidable but an organisation needs to be able to self evaluate otherwise the results are evident.
Any reason why you stopped? Would love to see you tell more of these footy stories. Not only are they excellent but it's a fairly unexplored window on youtube
Haven't stopped chich, it's just a side project so they take me a while
@@jaggerskilbeck glad to hear mate. look forward to the next one
Yes mate. Go the Crom
Seems much of this is predicated on the idea that the Crows 'should've won the premiership' which overrates the 2017 Crows & underrates the 2017 Tigers. Crows only won 15 games that season & so were far from dominant as far as being minor premiers is concerned. Geelong were only % behind, and Richmond half a game. It was an even season and Port & Sydney were unlucky to miss top 4. Adelaide actually won more games in 2016 when they finished 5th after h&a, before that they were a middle of the ladder team. I could understand it if their season was like Geelong in '08 or St Kilda in '09.
looking back on it now, it's easy to say the tigers were underrated because they went on to win 3 out of 4 flags. But the crows were unstoppable in 2017, they were the powerhouse of the season and richmond were clearly the underdogs. To say that they 'should've won the premiership' is not overrating them at all, because on paper they should have destroyed the tigers in the GF
@@steel2211 Nonsense; winning 15 games is far from having a dominant season, and the Tigers were in brilliant form at the end of the year, when it matters, winning 9 of their last 10 games.
This is coming from someone who only has a year 11 past in psychology, so please don’t take this as fact, but my theory is the crows in the lead up to the 2017 grand final had gone through hell only two years earlier, when Phil Walsh tragically died, and I wonder if the players who played for the club at that time of the tragedy felt like they had to win the 2017 grand final for Phil Walsh memory, and when they got belted in the grand final, I wonder if the players felt like they let Phil Walsh down, and the players just couldn’t get past that mental pain that would’ve come from feeling like you let someone down, and for the record I have no way to prove my theory is 100% true, it’s just a theory so please don’t take it as fact, and if you want to make fun of it go for it.
Hey mate that is a good theory
I think there is some truth in your statement, it also might have been a contributing factor.
Sounds fair to me. Maybe just a factor rather than the sole reason for it however
Here's a better theory: the Crows were well beaten by a better team on the day.
@@sentimentalbloke185 boring
The Hawthorn dynasty came to a definitive end in the 2016 finals. By about round 6 of 2017 it was clear their wasn't gonna be any Bulldogs dynasty. Adelaide really looked like the next big powerhouse club. They were an awesome side in 2017.
How? Adelaide finished 15-6-1 at the end of a season, that's pretty bad for a minor premier, and they won more games out of the four than they did on top of the ladder.
2016 = 16 wins - 5th on the ladder
2017 = 15 wins - 1st on the ladder
Adelaide were an amazing side in 2017 but never looked like the next powerhouse.
I remember. Ricchoto quoting all the prices and that of the players leaving... such a terrible look for him and the club.
Why? he was on the money, Adelaide were never going to offer 850k a year for someone like lever, they have Jordan Dawson now who is 10x the player Lever ever will be.
@@Weather-Report Levers a defender in the best defensive team that just won a premiership you nuffy.
He is well worth 850k.. and a premiership proves it. What a stupid comment.
DO YOU @Jagger Skilbeck GO FOR CROM?💛❤💙💛❤💙
You should also make a vid on how north dropped those 11 players as well has boomer, Petrie, dal Santo and farrito, in the middle of still trying to make finals
The crows reaping what they sowed .
If you look at the record, very few teams come back from a grand final defeat, I think maybe only Hawthorne have done it in the last 20 years. Not all teams drop off completely like Adelaide did (although they're not unique in that), but hardly any remain strong contenders for long. Just look at the Bulldogs this year. I wouldn't write them off just yet, but they're clearly not where you'd expect them to be. I'm not suggesting the camp didn't have an effect, but there were other factors that brought down the crows.
geelong lost in 08 won in 09, west coast lost 05 won in 06, only two team to do so. every other team slip a fair way down the ladder but i agree, Adelaide’s slide down was like nothing we’ve ever seen before
@@vlillachy1933 hawthorn lost 2012 then won the next 3
@@vlillachy1933 I forgot about Geelong, I think they won it the year before that? So basically aside from the Hawks and Geelong dynasties, nobody has done it in the last 18 years.
@@vlillachy1933 Port Adelaide after they were smashed by 119pts by Geelong in 2007 saw them descend into basket case mode a few years later that was described as a ‘Lord of the flies’ environment.
It depends on how much you lose by in a Grand Final.
Crom 🏈 👍
You should make a vid on Tassie trying to get a team
Hahahaha, riccuito saying lever worth 500k max, LMFAO! no wonder he left, he knew his worth and was being treated like a monger. And now hes immortalised as a drought breaking premiership player for Melbourne and could possibly get a few more depending on Melbourne's luck and consistency. And getting an extra 300-350k for it. And people wonder why Adelaide fell apart. The first 21 seconds tell it all. They care about winning premierships but not the people in the team who are suppose to win it for them.
Early
great video
Not sure I’d draw attention to military consultation to prove that something *wasn’t* cult-like, especially given what we’ve heard about the Australian SAS
should do one on freo, what a disaster of a year after their GF loss
Perhaps content for future YT videos may be an analysis of the the demise of Richmond and the Western Bulldogs. After they are both done then the ascension of the Adelaide Crows may be in order!

They literally just reinstated sam McClure’s Quill for the article
It wasn’t just channel 9 that retracted statements and apologised. The Age newspaper also retracted articles.
And it’s obvious channel 9 did so because they knew they wouldn’t win in court.
How is that obvious at all? It’s pretty well understood that media corporations like fairfax would much rather retract statements than fight court battles that will tarnish their brand. This was right after they lost the bid and were forced to pay the Wagner family $3.6 mil for defamation over a 60 minutes report, as well as the Ben Roberts Smith stuff. They knew they couldn’t afford another public lawsuit for potential loss of brand capital. 100% they would’ve won if they took Collective Mind to court.
Do one on the Dees please.

Analysis paralysis. Every year a team loses the AFL grand final. The losing team moves on. Players leave for better pay or old, non performing players are discarded. Nothing new or sinister here. A very melodramatic account really. Cornsey spot on about the camp being blown out of proportion
Imagine being the wives, getting traded to another husband by the football club.
GO CROM LOL !!!
The Crows should go back to fire walking or the peace pipe. The people in charge at Adelaide were clowns.
