It works! I live in a motel where they just have been way before i got here and my room is free of bugs becuz of it. Takes about a week tho to notice the diffeence.
Me too!! After fighting bed bugs for a month, I spread DE all around my bed frame, on the surrounding floor, and went away for 3 weeks. When I came back, all the bed bugs were gone!! Thank you, DE!! But you have to use it properly and diligently.
Hard shelled bugs Breathe through the leg joints, the sharp shards of the dust Impala the soft joints dehydrating then as the dust , highly absorbent, sucks the water from them, roaches are cannibals , they’ll go to eat the dead and collect the dust, as well as the bugs pack it back to nests . Its effective..
You apply the earth dust with a rose duster or something like it. I have a yellow pint squeezable container with an 8 inch tube attached, it really “dusts “ a large area. Other then just making lines with the stuff. You want it able to be tracked on. Not walked around or above it. Get it on the walls too.
@@seansmith445 don’t have to, only where they access like the floor area, you’ll know when they’re affected, they’re much slower and can’t flee very fast. Not as fast as normal. And because they’ll eat each other, the dust speads to nests, eventually killing them off. Takes about a week to notice any change, but you’ll see slower bugs. Dehydrating. They breathe through the limb joints, the dust is like razor blades cutting into the “lung” absorbing the water, they can’t breathe. Dehydrate. One shared of dust absorbed ten times the water.
It works, I don't sell it but in a way I guess I advertise it , only by swearing by the stuff, Listen carefully it don't work instantly it can take 24 to 72 hours to kill the little bastards that is any bug that has a hard shell of a body.
from my understanding food grade just means it can be ingested by other animals (e.g., pets) but are still deadly for bugs. I'm reading up on it too haha
@@allanpeter7700 no when I see them They are covered in this stuff they don’t care about my DE AT ALL. I promise they be covered in it. Maybe they adapted.
Remember this stuff breaks down their exoskeleton, and can carry back to nests, once they die other roaches will eat them then they will die!!!
They are probably only going to get it on their feet not their bodies.
@@seansmith445 they clean themselves like a cat!

My very elderly friend dusted his whole room and killed B bugs off!

Good to know
@@AnnaMelese-g2n any hard shell bugs , they have “book lungs” centipedes too which kill roaches, invade nests, the friendly bugs.

Does this work for their nests and baby roaches or should i use something else ?
I have never seen people say/demonstrate it works other than the ones selling it or being paid to advertise it

I dont sell it but I know it works, I got rid of two beg bug infestations using this and double sided tape. it took two weeks and it worked.
Mark rober did a video on it regarding bed bugs
Works really Good for fleas!
Definitely works for bed bugs. Idk about roaches tho
Can’t you mix it with sugar so the roaches 🪳 into it
Be careful, large amounts of DE can damage vacuums
I bought this product but not the food grade type, will it still work?
from my understanding food grade just means it can be ingested by other animals (e.g., pets) but are still deadly for bugs. I'm reading up on it too haha
It may not be safe to use within the home
Correct, as others have mentioned it should still kill roaches but it’s not as safe for children and pets.
DE that isn't food grade is for pool filters, it's pretty toxic. Stop using it and find a food grade one.
Works well with glue traps also.
After applying can I still use a fan and a/c in that room? I have a small apartment that gets really hot in the summer.
Yes you can
I got rid of scabies on my skin by mixing some of this stuff in a lotion bottle
Perfect
No it don't I have yet to see work went an brought some
it doesn't work
O yes it does. You are needing to learn how to use it
ITS A LIE DONT WORK
Which means they didn’t step on the powder lol

Diatomaceous earth does not kill roaches They walk right through it.
He SAID it'll take a WEEK to 10 Days to kill them. It'll stick to them, they'll carry it into their nests.
How is it now, either you need to put more or it’ll take time for them to die.
It takes 24-72 houres
It kills by slowly acting upon them their outer skeleton.
It can take several days but once in contact they will die. Faster to use Borax.
It’s not immediate. It dehydrates them.
