i love these villains who can take over a planet in seconds but when they face the protagonist with the power of friendship they turn to dust in 1 second.
@@cocomunga the love love stick is literally positive emotions turned into a weapon Zero is the embodiment of negative emotions, meaning it's weak to positive emotions. Kirby has the love love stick You know what happens now
Yeah, it just plays a genuinely spine-tingling sound and flickers the screen and then he's there, it really feels like this sudden encounter with some unknown entity
I love the growth in Kirby's skill this fight implies. The very same Nightmares you've been fighting for multiple games that gave you such a hard time before? Zero just SHOOTS THEM AT YOU. As a BASIC ATTACK.
@Rose Fountain After finishing the newest excellent first 3D Kirby I can say yes, yes they still do. Which is awesome. That's why I like Kirby so much.
The Heart Rod (er, uh... officially called the "Love-Love Stick") is such a perfect fit for Kirby even more than the Star Rod or any other endgame weapon because it was literally formed from the friendships he made himself along the way. The ultimate weapon against Dark Matter is the power of love and kindness--which, of course, does come up again later. Shame it was a one-off deal because it really should be more iconic.
The creators were fr thinking of a name for the most powerful item in the game and arguably one of the most important artifacts in the series and went "Hm, Luv-Luv Stick? Yeah, Luv-Luv Stick."
Zero may not look like much in this game because of the pastel art style, but due it it resembling a disembodied eye that shooting blood from cuts that open around its eye, and shooting more blood from the eye is pretty creepy, something straight out of a horror game.
Thats dark nebula you uncultured meme lord Zero legitimately possessed all of Kirby’s friends and tried to corrupt all of dreamland till there was nothing left
People say that kirby is a game for people with less than 8 yrs old, heck even google says that, but Dream Land 3 is rated 10+ only for this boss, and I think everyone knows why
Does anyone know what gives the Zero fight the red blue and yellow background? I've seen both versions of the fight online and when I played it had the blue and black one
I don't remember which is true, but it's either the original background for the SNES, or it's the background you see when you fight Zero and Dark Matter during boss rush
The Boss rush mode/Boss Butch. I believe you need 99% completion to access it. It also changes other arenas. Whispy gets an autumn theme, King Dedede has sakura petals flying around. Etc.

In kirby it's ok because we attack with the power of love
I like to think that Zero was severely weakened from Kirby destroying its body and that that love love stick just really really hurts Zero .
@@cocomunga the love love stick is literally positive emotions turned into a weapon
Zero is the embodiment of negative emotions, meaning it's weak to positive emotions.
Kirby has the love love stick
You know what happens now
yep.
Pretty sure it's more than "1 second".
Zero just... appears. No fanfare or anything, it just appears.
he's above all that flash and pomp. truly an icon among villains.
Whats better than a presentation? Not having one
To make you say yoooooooooo, so dark matter is not main villain?
he went 👁

Is that so....I didn't realize that-
Well I imagine since they’ve just been “born” they’re weaker and they’re smaller than the dark matter you fight in the beginning.
I mean, I believe he is LITERALLY the darkest Dark Matter there is.
2:41 Zero's last stand.
Rated E for "Ew, is that blood?"
Yup, that's why the earlier Kirby games were awesome.
The cutesy graphics hid a surprisingly dark game.
@Rose Fountain After finishing the newest excellent first 3D Kirby I can say yes, yes they still do. Which is awesome.
That's why I like Kirby so much.
In original Ocarina of Time Ganondorf coughed up blood.
They censored it later, but it was a: “Crap, this got an E rating?!” Moment.
Oh dam
@SaraNightfire1 That green stuff was blood? Well, I guess that makes more sense than my innitial thought of him vomiting.
i only just now realized that the black thing in the opening cutscene is the boss arena for this boss
And that’s why the Dream Collection is rated E10+. for Animated Blood.

Maybe the real Heart Rod was the friends we made along the way
I BLEED IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION
That's not blood, he just got a bit messy with his ketchup for dinner!
LOL You legit made me laugh
Lol
Yeah totally ketchup
yep.
Not, it's possibly blood or magic.
Rated E for Exploding Eyeballs

Nostalgia Critic: "Y'know, for kids!"
Make a tight formation Kirby! This is what you trained for!
I really like how the music syncs to the bosses intros
So, Zero is the embodiment of hatred and evil, and only Kirby's friendship-powered heart rod can stop it?
Pretty cute until the eyeball explodes.
Until it reveals its blood shot eye and shoots out the blood you mean?

It's so cool, wish we got more Kirby bosses as dark as this but I like the other bosses we have
Me When scrimblo is Better than alpha 2:41
Pure Form of Evil: Dark Matter
Chaos Incarnated: Zero
I like the soundtrack of bosses
1:12 zero fight
And on todays news: Small pink round omnipresent god kills a Lovecraftian monster all bc his cake was eaten‼️
Kirby is justified here because zero literally tried to take over popstar
Thats dark nebula you uncultured meme lord
Zero legitimately possessed all of Kirby’s friends and tried to corrupt all of dreamland till there was nothing left
There is literally 0 cake in this game to my knowledge you idiotic swine.
stolen, not eaten. and worse, it was a bunch of rats. they probably all had rabies since they all had weapons.
1:11 Kirby: Whoa!
The horrifying thing is after dark matter gets defeated, he creepily looks at the screen. Kirby has got some amazing ketchup games over there!
Had a dream last night that Dark Matter became one of the animal buddies lol

Surprisingly ballsy for the time and company.
Dark Matter Is Like The Final Boss Of
Kirby & Mario: Darkness Returns.
He better appear in the movie! 😤
BLOODDDDDD
How to ruin someones childhood:
Zero is the most CREEPIEST boss of the Kirby franchise because he shoots blood at Kirby and he rips his iris out in a very gory manner!
He's literally a giant eyeball.
Thats what makes kirby games cool.
I didn't mind Zero too scary back then, but if you think about, Zero could fit better in a horror game instead.
Hated?! More like the most creepy boss
@@PrinceFloof Yeah, I JUST edited my comment right now to say that!!!
Dark Matter Got Revenge From Kirby Dream Land 2 But This time He got help from a little eye named ZERO
Little???
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

This cutscene just feels way too realistic and graphic for an SNES Game
It's not really "realistic", just rather graphic for a Kirby title.
how was this rated e for everyone
because kirby
Because ketchup is delicious
