  • What is the meaning of integration? What are the gradual stages of humanity’s integration? Have we reached the level of integration nature demands from us? What is missing from a true integration among people? What law determines how we need to integrate? What is ahead of humanity today?
    Integration comes from the Latin word integratio, “insertion,” and means restoration, completion, the process of inserting some part into something.
    Social integration is the process of establishing optimal connections between relatively independent social objects.
    People in ancient times united into tribes, and then, larger communities. As time went on, the groupings became larger as people multiplied until finally, empires arose. An empire occurs when integration is made by force accompanied by the seizure of large territories. This integration or union of people is purely an external one. The smaller groups within the larger empire, although in contact, live on their own. The army maintains cohesion by collecting taxes and tributes and suppressing the rebellion.
    The next stage of integration is more natural and internal: the emergence of world religions and cultures. 3,500 years ago, a group led by Abraham was formed in Ancient Babylon. The members of this group called themselves ""Israel"" from ""Isra-El"" -straight to the Creator-which is the law of bestowal and love. Somewhere at the end of the 2nd millennium BCE from the sparks sown by Abraham, two spiritual centers arose.
    In the West, Abrahamic religions were born based on the principle drawn from the Pentateuch - ""Love your neighbor as yourself."" In the East, it appeared in the Upanishads, in which the foundation of the dharmic religions was laid. However, the integration of this stage was also relatively external. People of the same religion and culture observing the same tradition could have different interests and could even kill each other in war, for example. They did not feel their unity.
    Another type of integration arose in addition to religions and cultures. This is a national, class, and ideological integration. These connections also did not deeply affect a person. People who were neighbors could easily be enemies even if they were of the same nationality, or if they were of the same status as regards to wealth or had the same religious belief.
    Next, there came economic integration connecting not only individual countries and regions but all of humanity. Globalization rushed forward, and the world became small, united; starting to mobilize as one.
    Nevertheless, even with economic integration, the union of humanity is forced, people forced to take into account the interests of others and forced to come to terms with the risk of general crises that could occur. Therefore, the next stage is necessary - a complete and conscious unification.
    It might seem that the appearance of the Internet, social networks, and smartphones are accidental. But all these are manifestations of the tendency towards a universal and total interconnection.
    From physics, chemistry, and biology, we know that all elements in nature are interconnected.
    In Kabbalah, there is a thing called mutual guarantee. This is the law according to which everything in nature that exists, works together- from ""lower"" elements (atoms, molecules) to higher beings(mammals, humans). For example, each cell in our body lives and works for the whole organism. Another example is evident in animals gathering in packs to help each other to survive.
    Unfortunately, we violate the law of nature, the law of mutual guarantee. As a result, humanity is being destroyed both from the inside (such as depression, family disintegration) and from the outside (hunger, environmental disasters, and so on).
    The problem is that we do not sense nor understand that caring and giving to others is really a law of Nature, and it acts on a sensual, emotional level. Our broken connections don’t seem to be fatal, but they are, in fact, worse than death- only we do not see this.
    This all leads us to try to understand what unity means, and that unity is necessary. Unity is like air, and without it, we will be lost. Nature is giving us a chance to integrate consciously for the first time in history. The stage of mechanical, forced integration is over. At this time, the possibility of a purposeful entry into a new, integral world is open for humanity.

      Hi Angelique!
      The solution to all problems;
      When we learn how to redirect our egoistic desires toward a positive connection with others, where we each mutually support, encourage, and consider others above self-benefit, then we will start realizing our growing interdependence in a completely new, positive, and harmonious way.
      Kabbalist Dr. Michael Laitman explains you in the following short clip ua-cam.com/video/5vnW1IzE748/v-deo.html
      Best wishes!
