But you showed that actually when you’re restricting and planning your meals, you’re not in control anorexia is. And the only way to take that control back is to challenge it. Aww bless your mum. So used to hearing her lovely encouraging "Yaaayyyy" it was strange not hearing it at breakfast and lunch, lol. She's so lovely and supportive and speaks such sense. Wish my parents had been more supportive and understanding when I was struggling in my teens!! They just got angry or upset which made me feel even worse and so guilty!!! You did amazing having breakfast on your own and I loved the moment with your dad and you guys sharing a smoothie ❤️ loved the footage of Oliver too!!! Food ideas! Breakfast: veggie cooked breakfast or pancakes with toppings of your choice. Lunch: a veggie ham and cheese toastie with cherry tomatoes or soup and a half baked baguette Dinner: veg chilli in taco shells with melted cheese on top - or Ethiopian misir wat and atakilt wat veggie stews- I had them at a street food stall and they're 2 of my fave meals! You'll need look up the recipes and order berbere spice mix online - use a little if you don't like too much spice but those meals are seriously good!! Snacks: Pringles, a veggie sausage rolls- maybe a Greggs one or crackers n cheese😀Oh and chocolate, I forgot the sweet stuff!

You are doing amazingly well. I use an app and plan meals and have done for nearly 3 years. I'm now about 8 weeks into recovery and I tried to stop the app but after 2 days I scared myself by how much I was eating so I freaked out and reinstalled the app. I'm still weighing my food, planning my meals in advance and given myself a ca daily calorie limit (BTW it's quite a big limit and I'm definitely not under eating). I hope I can finally let go of the app, weighing my food and myself everyday. Keep going strong my lovely xx
Some food ideas!: Breakfast - Peanut butter and jam on toast (literally the best thing ever btw!) Croissants Granola Lunch - (main part)- baguette egg may sandwich Pasty (side/part 2)- Corner yoghurt Crisps (normal potato ones) Dinner - (main)- Curry with rice and onion bhajis and/or naan pasta bake and garlic bread veggie 'chicken' nuggets, chips and beans (Pudding)- magnum ice cream crumble or chocolate pudding and custard Snacks - bagel smoothie muffin cake from a cafe/bakery yoghurt bowl Hope some of these are ok! Well done Rain. I don't eat meat so must try that wrap- avocado and veggie bacon with brown sauce sounds like a great combo! Anorexia has really idiotic rules and well done for over-ruling them and taking all the joy back! I'll think of some veggie food ideas and come back with a couple later!
There's a recovery channel called "Follow the intuition" ( can't remember her actual name right now 🤦🏻♀️ Elisa maybe?) she's also written a book about her recovery and starting intuitive eating. One of her videos explains about needing to have restored normal hormonal functions to be able to fully be able to follow your own intuition about food which I never realised but basically don't beat yourself up if you can't yet fully decide intuitively. It could just be that your body isn't yet producing the correct hormones, you'll get there. Definitely check out that UA-cam channel though! The video which explains it well is called "How to restore normal hunger and fullness cues/eating disorder recovery"
