SO RELATABLE! having to mourn college is so real. Just transitioning from being around ppl who are in your life stage to suddenly being in the real world where you're living and working with people who are all across the board are not necessarily looking for new friends because they have families of their own is rlly hard
Graduated from ASU in 2022 as well, and post grad depression is really only just now hitting me. If anything it’s nice to know that others are going through the same thing and that they’re also getting through them. Good luck with your future!

I’ve been there, for me it was 10 years ago graduated college and entered the real world but through the magic of social media stayed close to the people that mattered. I hope everything works out for you.
The problem is when you make college your whole life. When it’s done, you don’t know who you are. You gotta face the real world
It’s hard to not make college your whole life when it sort of is your whole life!
@@kc3668 It doesn’t have to be like that. Our college culture sets the students back by promoting a lot of stuff they won’t need and end up feeling empty after

Thank you so much for making this video ! I resonated with everything you said especially about your friends moving away, LinkedIn comparison with others, and just feeling lost. I graduated this spring and it’s been hard adjusting to living back home with my parents and working a 9-5 😮💨 I’m so glad you talked about this because I feel like it is a weird transition from being in college and having fun to having to do “ adulting things. “ This was comforting knowing things will get better 💛

Everyone processes life changes at their own pace. It took me alot of years to realize this for myself. I am just a slow processor and that is okay. Good for you, figuring these things out. Sending hugs dear 🤗

I graduated as well recently, so I felt the same
Knew exactly what I was doing, was not stressed about work or money but damn I just missed everything about school. Being out of school for a couple years now I genuinely don’t see what gonna compare to it. Only think about it occasionally but it hit like a truck when ya actually get into thinking

I just graduated college today and it's slowly starting to hit
How are you feeling now? I Also graduated this year in May and it’s gotten alittle better but rarely. It’s been the hardest stage in my life I’ve had in awhile
@@mariahsmith5380 definitely been tough. Especially with making friends. I went to college out of state and also went to boarding school for high school so most of my friends live in other states and I have hardly any friends here in Atlanta where I grew up. I got a job here where I grew up, but it wasn’t a fit so I left it and now I’m trying to figure out what’s next. Friends have been tough, but just try a bunch of meet ups and go on apps to find friends too. I know it may seem silly, but just keep pushing and eventually things will get better. But I have to remind myself of this every day too because it is tough.
