- for some reason UA-cam did not recommend this gameplay demo to me until 3 days after it was uploaded, but now that i’ve finally see it i can confidently say that Nivalis is my most anticipated game of 2024.

So that gameplay that was posted on another channel was never meant to be released. Not only that, but it's from an unpatched build, with low graphics preset, no shadows, missing icons, and localization errors.
If this is what the game looks and plays like on a super unfinished, barely playable build then I’m even more excited!
Nivalis looks like it's made for the style of play I find myself ending up playing after a few tens of hours into Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim and the likes. Makes me almost resent the capacity for untold amounts of violence right at my fingertips - I just want to eat synth-meat ramen at a stall on Jig-Jig street after a long day at work piling up crates in a warehouse!
This is type of shit I need.
CLOUDPUNK was also a very calm experience, I am super happy this is not another shoot-everything game after all ❤
I know this is an early demo which never meant to be seen, but mah god it looks so good! At this point I am happy to see any drop of information about this game.
Creators of CloudPunk, that game was super unique omg the atmosfera was amazing, i really love all the playtrough, this look more ambitious with the same world both more detailed and inmersive, i need it now!

same tbh, i can't wait to just get into the game and just walk around and explore the city... the artstyle looks sooo good!
and maybe its just me, but in this latest footage the NPCs are way less jarring then the last time I saw them :D can't wait
It looks good. There seems to be a lot manage, do and explore. I am so excyted. thx for covering this topic as usual. i also just want to live in a cyberpunk city for a change. I love it when these scenarios become like "find beauty and joy even in the worst of times and places" and it just looks cool 🙂. I hope there will be manny interesting npcs to meet.
I just hope we can drive those flying cars. That's always been a dream of mine in an open world game and one place I think Cyberpunk 2077 really missed out.
Cloudpunk is what you want for that!
In a weird way this feels like the game I had always wanted Shenmue 3 to be (without the cyberpunk aesthetic obviously). I can’t even put into words why that is or what this game has that makes me feel that way. The atmosphere and the living nature of the city definitely have something to do with it. I know modern games are no stranger to creating NPC schedules and cities that feel alive, but they always feel so inorganic to me in a way that this just doesn’t for some reason. I was looking forward to this game already, but associating it with a game I’ve been eagerly waiting 20+ years to play elevates it to another level entirely.
It truly feels like a hopeful take with the message “times may change but human life prevails”

This game feels like a mash up with Shadows of Doubt and Cloudpunk (I know it's the same developers/setting)
Maybe a little bit of the sims or house flipper?
I just enjoyed playing cloudpunk so much ❤ this game is so amazing 🎉
The only thing missing for me yet is the HOVA flying. Would love just to cruise throgh rainy nivalis, listening to chilled synthwavesound and just.. be.

WOWOWWOWO!!! i am sooo excited. I already have cyberpunk which I played but this is the cake to my obsession of cyberpunk genre.
I really wish the devs were building this to be an rpg sim where you get to do jobs or businesses in this cyberpunk city. to do that, they might take 2 or so years... plus with nothing to hear from the devs recently, i don't think this could be released. I hope I'm wrong. don't we all?
imagine a possible modding feature in this, it would seem feasible to make happen, and would make the longevity of this equal to, if not more than Cyberpunk, Maybe even GTA!

I hope they won't skip the "High Tech, Low Life" aspect of cyberpunk genre. As a life sim game, they really have an opportunity to do so in a way that no other media has touched.
Aside of Hardspace: Shipbreaker, maybe, and (tangentially) earlier Armored Core games.

Cuz i watched cloud punk gameplay and i feel they can easily implement that into this?
The fact that there's a mechanic shop is a really cool detail, so maybe it's for your car?

I loved Cloudpunk and I am so excited about this game. Not sure that I am into managing a restaurant or decorating an apartment. Yet, previous game was a delivery sim, which seem even more stupid but was perfect setup for the story. So I am expecting a lot from that hint about the serial killer. Are we going to catch him while making noodles? I am also not sure about leaving the pixelated graphics. Minecraft proved there is no need for smooth edges but I hope there is still much left to the fantasy. ❤

Holyyy shiiit this looks fucking amazing! Im not sure what life sim means, but if the world has the same interactibility like immersive sims such as deus ex, im all for it. Im definitely looking forward for this one
Life sim means Life Simulation, the genre largely monopolized by The Sims.
Girl where'd you get that footage from? The Link to the Demo has these cutouts that are however visible in your Video.
Also, loved the first game, love the second game.

This would be good as a mobile game on a phone but the graphics are lacking i feel like. Could have done way better
