- Today I review the KLI Baba Yaga. Watching video later, when I refer to hi capas in general I mean TM. I also realize that I don't sound very knowledgeable, I have learned a lot about hi capas since I made this video, I will eventually be reviewing tm hi capa, so stay tuned.
Watching video later, when I refer to hi capas in general I mean TM. I also realize that I don't sound very knowledgeable, I have learned a lot about hi capas since I made this video, I will eventually be reviewing a jag gmx, and a tm hi capa, so stay tuned. Also I am going to be RELEASING AN UPDATE ON THIS GUN AS SOME MAJOR PROBLEMS HAVE COME UP WITH IT LATER IN MY OWNERSHIP. I DEBATED TAKING THIS DOWN BECAUSE OF HOW SEVERE THEY ARE.

Did you know that the silver shinny parts ínside the hammer unit are made of stainless steel?
@@Frambhueee No why?
@@JGSnipes because I have the SRC hi capa especial edition and its surprise me when I realise that the internals are made out of steel, at first look I thougth they was made of pot metal But no!, that's a good thing
Hey dude nice video did you see the black barrel version it looks epic currently trying to get it does TM hi capa barrels work with the gun?
Yes the black barrel looks nice, however I don't recommend this gun anymore watch part 2. I can't speak on tm outer barrels fitting perfectly because I haven't tried it. They should, they may require a little modification. But take that with a grain of salt.
@@JGSnipes oh ok
I’m really interested in getting this gun. However, is it really Green gas and CO2 compatible? That would be great for playing in Canada
I no longer recommend this gun, especially in co2. I will have a follow up video coming out soon. Yes it is compatible with both though. Look at the description and pinned comment.
I bought this gun from airsoft gi and shot it maybe 20 times and it jammed up. So I took the slide off and it split the washer in half on the recoil spring. And so I fixed it. Then I shot it maybe 50 times and the fork in the grip bent. So I fixed it then I took it out to the field and the green gas mag was leaking. And the ware on the gun is crazy. I used silicone oil and red tacky grease and it wears terrible on the slide and barrel.
What Parts aren't TM compatible? I heard it was fully TM compatible.
I heard tm hop ups had to be modified, like I said idk what parts are and aren’t because not many people have the gun and the manufacturer doesn’t say. I just didn’t want to misinform people. The last thing you want to do is go buy an upgraded slide for it not to fit because some kid on the internet said it would work without trying it.
Oh and how do you get the co2 open
Can you have a tracer on it?
What do you use to lube?
What magazines do I buy for it?
It doesn’t have a threaded outer barrel so that’s a no on the tracer. I use medium weight silicone oil to clean and lube my guns. Buy the mags that are kli branded, other mags may work but might require modification to work properly.
Keep the content coming man👌🏼
I will
Have you had any issues with this pistol? Just got CO2 version and the slide constantly gets locked back. And my green gas mag just releases all its gas in one trigger pull. Idk what is wrong with it.
No you must have gotten a lemon. I have put around 1500 rounds though it so far and no problems with the gun or either of my 2 co2 mags. I don’t have any green gas mags but I would say it’s not supposed to do that.
Any of you guys experience leaks with the co2 version? Mine can't seem to seal and the bolt is on extremely tight. I've had it for a month and it's been like this since day one.
Yup. My gun was just scrap metal. Had to return it. I even contacted the company that is was constantly jamming and dumping all the gas fairly often, and they told me thats a serious problem that they couldn't help me with, and I should take it to a technician or just send it back because something was wrong with it. I contacted the seller 'Airsoft Megastore' and they told me they have had many of those guns sent back lately and they told me to send it back free of charge and get something else. Soooo yah, really upset I couldn't keep it. But If I had to guess, judging by all the amazing reviews that only came out when the gun was first released and sold out, I would say following batches of guns produced probably have some serious manufacturing defects. Probably will never buy from this company again if thats how they gunna do us.
Try putting silicone oil where the co2 gets punctured it may help to make a seal.
Yes I would also agree if I had your experience. However, after owning it for like a year, mine still has no hiccups
I have the SRC baba yaga. I watched the second video aswell and so far I haven't had any issues with the gun. I've been using Co2 and have put over 3000 rounds through it. The only issue i ran into was the Mag that came with the gun started to leak. I bought two after market mags and haven't had any other issues. Maybe they made a revision. Whos knows but so far haven't had any of the issues I've seen people talk about.
I didn't have issues with the 2 mags I had. Mine was in the pre order asgi batch so maybe they were still working out some kinks, however that batch was delayed multiple times because that's what they said they were doing.
Well it blew up in my hand and took a nice chunk out of my finger. You were right. Its garbage.
I am looking to buy the src version, do you know if there are any aftermarket parts like costum barrels and slides for the SRC one and where can I get them in europe cause my searches came out cold.
@@syntic7206 The gun broke after a couple months of pretty light use. I wouldn't recommend it. go for the TTI version.
@@syntic7206 Also the specs arent the same as tm so after market parts and not that available and trying to find OEM parts wasnt worth it tbh, I just scrapped it.
What bb’s do u need cause I’m finna get one and I’m new to this shit and Idk what’s the best bb’s
Any 6mm plastic bbs over .20g in wieght will be fine
@@JGSnipes thank you sm
@@IvanEsco np
@@IvanEsco ay bro lets start our journey together im getting this rn
Hey man I got the weapon today and where could I find the right co2 cartridges at because I ordered the umarex in Amazon and they sent me crow man for some reason.
any 12g co2 cartridges will work, I just recommended the umarex ones because they have some lubrication mixed in with the co2, you will just need to lubricate your gun more often now assuming the ones you got aren't lubed
@@JGSnipes oh okay thank you
@@IvanEsco how’s it holding up?
@@dalethepineapple4337 good bro it’s a badass weapon
If you do any upgrades can u keep us updated pls and thanks
If you watch part 2 you will see why this isn't exactly possible, I did build my gold match but I have yet to edit that video
Lol I like the random cuts 😂
Yeah I don’t put a lot of effort into editing. I also don’t make any scripts so I have to cut a decent amount when I can’t figure out how I want to explain something.
@@JGSnipes lol
Please be clear in reviews of the "Baba Yaga" gun as to whether you are dealing an Airsoft (6 mm) version or BB (4.5 mm steel) version. It would provide more clarity and be very helpful.
Thanks for the tip. This is the airsoft version.
@@JGSnipes Thank-you. I suspected as much, but I appreciate the clarification.
Mine unfortunatly broke down after 8 months of use. I recommend to use it with green gas only. I used mine with only CO2 and it caused small cracks on the outer barrel and the slide in time. And finally a week ago the whole slide broke in half.
Yeah mine broke after a few months as well. Covered in part two what broke, but it broke so bad that it wasn’t even worth fixing.
@@JGSnipes I watched your part 2 video. The exact same things that you mentioned in the video happened to my BABA YAGA pistol too. Even the cracking spots were the same. I believe it is just a shiatty pistol and that's it. I Don't recommend it to anyone. Maybe the newer version that has a threaded barrel is the better version of this pistol with reinforced slide etc, but I'm not going to spend another 165€ on this pistol.
@@Boozer2002 agreed. Shame, as I was hoping that maybe mine was just a bad batch.
The mag part really helped thx
Yw
Did you even dial the hop and use .28 or did you dial with .2 cuz I hit shots over 125 feet easily with .28
I used .28 with hop all the way up and got around 80-100 ft before it would hit the ground aiming at head height
@@JGSnipes for me 100-125 is pretty easy when you aim even head level or slightly higher to hit further in terms of that aspect but the drop shouldn't be that bad or sudden from my experience overall on the pistol aspect I think its unique for how loud and the blowback for this gun is for the price of the gun in CO2 just be aware of the co2 tank your using for me the experience I used the daisy co2 they tend be stronger than EMG and such but can cause problems with the mags in taking the canister out but a slight bump or tap fixes that issue.
Yeah I think mine might have had a bad bucking or something.
Is It compatible with the TM hicapa?
(At least the Magazines)
I'm not 100% but from what I remember I think that my friends mag worked fine, might require some slight modification.
are the c02 and gas version parts made equally as strong? can i i run the c02 mags in gas version? it’s the same gun i’d assume the parts are the same? just different mags
I believe they are the same. I wouldn't recommend running co2 at all. If you watched part 2, the gun completely destroyed itself at around 2000-3000 shots. Watch it if you want more detail.
@@JGSnipes do you think it’s a good hi capa on green gas?
@@keoluh4538 Its decent but after my experience I wouldn't buy another. If I were looking at hi capas in this price range I would spend the extra 15 for the tm, or start with a jag as they are 100% tm compatible and have metal slides.
@@JGSnipes what parts on the baba yaga are tm compatible? also i have a jag 5.1 gmx g2 coming in do you have any opinions on that
@@JGSnipesi appreciate the advice. about how long did the baba yaga last
what holster do you run with it if you do run a holster?
I don’t run a holster but any hicapa holster should work. Also some 1911 holsters may work.
Hi bro! I have a question? I have that gun baba yaga! I want to know what kind of charger is supported?
I honestly can't tell if you are serious or not. Its a gas gun no batteries required.
@@JGSnipes I did not know how to explain ... I mean where the bullets go
@@VictorSanchez-kd1yp you can use a speed loader for the bbs. The co2 magazine takes 12g co2 cartridges and the gas magazine takes green gas.
Is the barrel threaded? For a tracer
no its not
nice video bro
Thx
Hi does the tip in the barrel have threads? Thanks
No it doesn't have a threaded outer barrel.
Also no the orange tip that comes glued in isn’t threaded.
Ok I know you are using umarex co2 but how do you get it to work because I got the co2 but. It will not fit in mag
12 gram co2 will fit. To get it to work you just screw in the bottom cap with a coin. It may take some force to puncture it.
@@JGSnipes ok thx
Did you get a knock off? Mine is co2 but with a different cap for the cartridge. It has an allen key. Mine is also 3xs as loud, nearly as loud as a real pistol. Mine has white writing on it too. I think you got beat, IDK.
This is not a knock off, its the same as the valken baba yaga. Mine was very loud. These ones don't come with trades. It sounds like you have the emg or jag one.
@JGSnipes I've got the valken hi capa. I'm still very new to this sport, haven't played a game yet. I'm looking for a much info on the pistol as possible and can't find any.
I meant no disrespect by my initial comment.
@@jperdue3567 It seems they have proprietary parts, so when something breaks you are kind of out of luck, as I don't think the manufacturers sell individual parts. It was a good pistol while it lasted, I highly recommend picking up some green gas mags so that way it will last longer because green gas in much less harsh than co2. No disrespect taken, honest questions.
@JGSnipes I just talked to valken directly earlier today. IDK about yours, but mine can be fully modified aside from the hop up and the blowback. Everything else is compatible with the Tokyo Mauri. I don't like the idea of gg because it's not as powerful, and isn't as stable as far as pressure is concerned. Though I do like the idea that gg is more consistent with firing rds and actually does about 5 more rounds than co2, I like the reliability of the co2 as well as the power in contrast.
@@jperdue3567 Interesting, if mine were fully compatible it would be able to drop onto a tm lower just fine, mine had issues when I tried that. Same thing with just switching outer barrels in my test. Hopefully yours works with the tm spec parts.
does it use 12 gram or 16 gram co2
It uses 12g co2 cartridges, and its an airsoft gun, so it uses 6mm plastic bbs.
How long did it take for shipping and where did you buy from? Besides this loved the vid
Bought from Airsoft GI, took 3 months to get because I preordered it. Shipping is gonna take longer everywhere because of the virus. Thanks for the feedback man.
@@JGSnipes They have them on Amazon for $135 I order one from Amazon and it only took 5 days to get to me in Virginia from Cali. So that's pretty damn good I think.
Oh and you can get Co2 mags for them and they do work with the gun like the KJW Brand Quality OEM Airsoft CO2 Magazine 29-Round KP05 Tactical Hi-Capa
On Amazon too ok it seems to be working good with that C02 mag.
Yes, that’s good shipping. Idk if you got the same gun for 135 though. The lowest I could find it from KLI is 170.
Not to sure if the gun you have is built to run co2. I wouldn’t recommend unless you have a co2 gun. It will break your parts very fast if you run co2 in a gun designed for green gas. But it seems like you have a hi capa which means most likely a lot of other hi capa mags are compatible.
how did you take the orange tip off?
I use a propane torch and a pick. Any heat application should work though. Lighter, hairdryer etc.
What bullets do these take ?
6mm plastic airsoft bbs. You want to use .20g or heavier.
SRC would sell more guns if they made them cross compatible. All the mags and parts for they're guns are all proprietary
I have seen some people use aftermarket parts but I tried a tm upper on it and it didn’t work. Shame.
can someone give me the link for the umerax c02
www.umarexusa.com/12g-co2-cylinders-12ct
@@JGSnipes thx ily no homo
Can it be customize?
some tm spec parts can be put on, I'm just not too sure of which ones will fit without modification
Is the barrel threaded
No
My boy blamed the gun for his bad aim 😂
I shoot real guns competitively and do pretty well. I don’t have bad aim, airsoft guns are inherently inaccurate because of wind effecting the bb. I was shooting on a bench rest taking my time. Sights were in the same spot every shot.
@@JGSnipes bro you are using light bb’s, what do you expect. go heavier then and the wind won’t send it flying, smh.
You don't like the weight? Bro it's a mostly full metal pistol
I like things to be more light weight when talking about competing, when I use a hi capa I expect it to perform amazing, and that includes being light weight so it’s easier to aim quickly.
you can get it on amazon for around $120 - $135
yes it retails for around 130 but i preorded with another mag for like 160 idk it was a while ago and at this point I could care less about this gun
@@JGSnipes why do u not care for it
@@mrbeam2024 did you watch my part 2?
@@JGSnipes nah ill have to
frl 1911 tac is better imo
after all we all have different taste
Question so Ksi and valken the same
valken and kli are not the same. Kli is a pretty old brand that just doesn't make much now, valken from what I have heard is pretty shit quality
@@JGSnipes hmm interesting because Vulcan made the exact same pistol then I’m gonna buy from replay Airsoft that I’m thinking about doing the sleepers build on 💁🏾
@@mikethegamer1710 after some research I see the one you are talking about. Yes it does appear to be the same exact gun. They are still different companies but they appear to share this gun. Some times manufactures do this to keep cost down.
@@JGSnipes I would assume so I just hope that mines will be good But I’m going to do a sleepers build like I said and then I’m gonna buy a gold master Tm hi capa and go full out on it 💯
@@mikethegamer1710 i kept this stock till it broke and then got a gold match. I have both a build video and a review recorded i just need to edit them.
I BUY ONE TODAY🔥🔥🔥
Nice!
How you u took the orange tip off?
I cut this one off with a dremel, but the better way that I have learned is to heat it up with a lighter, hair dryer or something similar to melt the glue and use pliers to pull it off, if you take it off only use it out of sight of the public
Heavy is good my man and everything doesn’t have to be tm be original
Heavy makes it harder to aim quick but yes I see the appeal for it to feel more realistic. This doesn't have oem parts available and isn't 100% tm compatible meaning if something proprietary breaks, the gun is done. Tm standard isn;t a bad thing, they are the standard for a reason. I wish there were more aftermarket support for other brands, but as far as I know tm, we, and ghk have the most available parts.
Is it heavy?
Yes it is probably about twice the weight of your average tm hicapa with the mags out.
@@JGSnipes thx man
@@chris_breezy5143 yw
i have that gun
Nice
Have you found any issues? How accurate is it?
