    Thank you so much for revealing these logistical administrative insights about doing a private practice that MSW students do not discuss in their classes and are not taught in their instructional modules. Thank you for revealing what is behind the curtain! I greatly appreciate your transparency. Your videos help other MSW students and I determine if private practice is the right sector of the Social Work field for our skills, interests, lifestyle, and needs. I remember one of my professors telling me that many social workers earn MBAs because operating a private practice truly is like running your own small business.

    I'm currently at Walden University. I have a private practice business class and telehealth class coming up.
    I may be an outlier but I'm so excited for those classes. :)

      Wait they have a PP business class?!? That is amazing I have never heard of a university doing that. Is it an elective?

    I am in my first semester of my masters in clinical mental health counseling program. I hope to have a private practice someday :)
