Best Metal band I've seen this century. In any century, actually. Incredibly skilled musicians and Asami's vocals are unique and powerful. New bassist Fami fits in perfectly and band founder Haruna on drums is a force of nature. Miyako and Midori on guitars are just the best there are, whether soloing or playing dual guitars.
Glad you're back, guys! New subscriber here from Alabama. I had a hard time believing Asami could actually sing this song live in concert, so I had to see for myself at their very first USA show in Atlanta, GA. She nearly blew the roof off with this chorus and several other stellar moments that had me shaking with excitement! All disbelief was erased, leaving only satisfaction!
Fami's debut on stage with the band after she joined as Miho's replacement toward the end of 2022. She has proven to be an excellent choice and has been taken to the hearts of the Wolfpack. I saw Lovebites play live in London earlier this year, including this song. When Asami introduced 'Our New Bass Player' the audience nearly brought the roof down with the cheers and chants of Fami, Fami ! at both gigs. If you get the chance to see Lovebites live, do take it, they do not disappoint, however good you think they are going in, they will change your opinion, for the better 😃🐺 A quick ps, Midori lists Dimebag Darrell as one of her influences and Miyako has a DD style Dean ML Switchblade guitar. I think we can say Lovebites have a high regard for him. The Maiden/Motorhead comparison is spot on in my opinion, they are both bands the Ladies take influence from. Last Sunday all the band members were together in the audience at the Iron Maiden gig in Japan. 🤘

I haven't been watching many reactions lately, but you're two of my favourite reactors, so I came back to watch. Yeah, Lovebites are just fantastic! Had the privilege to see them live three times last June. Well, you asked for other suggestions. I really enjoy KOIAI, some kind of new supergroup I guess, since all the members have already made a name for themselves in other projects. They play a very interesting mix of Pop with virtuoso Rock and sprinkles of Jazz. I especially enjoy "A New Picture (Official Live Video from '1st LIVE in JAPAN' Blu-ray)" and - poppier - "Come see me [MV Mix] (Official Music Video)". Check them out! You might like them too.

A recommendation for you to have a look at. A new band in every sense, NEK!. Another all female Janpanese band, very new and very young. The Bassist was 3rd place finisher in the Lovebites 'find a new bassist' contest when she was only 15. I think had she been 2 or 3 years older it would have been a straight shoot out between her and Fami. As a first listen, as you like a bass intro, try 'Maze'.

This was the 2nd night of their comeback concerts in spring 2023, Fami's live debut shows. First shows in about 2 years due to restrictions and the search for a new bassist. The band has a thrash side to them also, check out "Break The Wall" and "Thunder Vengeance" from Zepp DiverCity 2020.
