Dude!! if I only?? sure would like to hook up with you on how I could convert one of mine like this!! I have to use rear wheel drive here in Southeast Kentucky. I have nothing but hillside to cut here! I have put ball cleats on and either use a weedeater or one of my lawnmowers that I have put 3/4 by 1in lag bolts in the rear wheels! and man you better hold on and keep up!!
just a thought. slopes tend to be hard on 4 cycle engines without pressurized oiling systems. step up your engine size and move to a 30 or 33 inch snapper deck. bigger cut more power. also the larger engines offer pressurized lubrication. Awesome idea, needs refined though. Remember, If we were trying to beat you instead of help you we'd keep our ideas to ourselves.
Nice machine, but i wonder if a 2cycle would work better do to the extreme angles u can mowe, some 4 strokes smoke like crazy if u tilt them 2 far on the carb side.
this, a nice shade umbrella, and a case of longnecks would be a good afternoon - just need to set it up like a ROOMBA where you could just sit and watch it
where can I go about finding tracks like that? Preferably on the cheap side lol. I thought about taking some old tires and cutting them up to stretch them close to flat, but if I can find some tracks cheap enough I won't have to retro encabulate somthing
This is going to be the future of slope mowing I believe. In the future with a bigger machine, more intuitive remote controls with a easier learning curve, perhaps integrated GPS technology, and so on and this technology is really going to take off. You will longer need to engineer around a human operator and that is going to make the cost of maintaining a slope being reduced significantly. Maybe a camera mounted on the machine integrated with computer control. Just a lot of possibilities.
Hmm not a bad first attempt on design. The blade needs a gear box as to slow the blade. It sounds like the blade is turning at aprox 3600 rpm. Which is the rpm rating for a finish mower. A brush hog mower for a typical tractor only turns at 550 rpm which allows the power unit to have reserve power. The track system is a good idea but should be allowed to geared down for thicker grass. BTW what kinda blade design did you use?
Jason B smart people do they're research before asking dumd questions. This is simply a push mower on a custom carriage driven by electric motors and a battery. Marketed as a slope mower (i.e industrial or commercial use).
For brush mowing like your doing ditch the rotary mower (those are for finishing) put a sickle mower on it, you could have lots of reserve power and cut down all that without any issues. I like the idea, would just need a little refinement for my uses.
Lucky, we had to flymow whatever you couldn't drive a machine on. I wish they let us use weedeaters. And as far as a 3500D doing what a ventrac can, it can, but only going straight up and down ;) we had a 3100D that we used to cut some steep rough coming off of tees.
i would probally add a horizontal reciprocating "hedging" blade for this particular application. and maybe design the "under" blade to mulch the grass ? kindof like a 1 - 2 punch. please pay me a 1.5% royality fee for my idea.
Great idea but you don't show it actually mowing. Either that or it doesn't mow very well. But I love the idea if you could only make on that is much bigger . This one seems like a fun toy.
Wow...if it is to steep for a regular mower..use a weedeater...cool idea but not practical at all...maybe for some old person who like to play with remote controlled toys.
Why do you have videos on your web site that say they violated terms and conditions? Reading the comments below it seems you are using fake accounts to troll the comments. Can we say shady?

good grief does it even cut the grass
Totally agree with all of that! Wonder how much it would cost?

beargibson3100 because he inst an engineer probably? your thought processor needs refinement

Do you have engine lubrication problems with big slopes ?

I actually thought it was the size of a remote control car ... until I saw it drive into that Chevy Suburban!
that is really cool! Is it easier to mow?
Okay, might pitch the idea to my boss @ work ;) Thanks! You too!
How Much is that
My Grandpa has a steep slope like that and he is using a push mower with a string attached now
Yeah, but what does the manufacturer of the engine spec as the maximum angle of operation?
Okay, but what does the engine spec say?

now thats pretty darn good, i like this machine. 5/5+ it looks like fun to !
Doesn't look like it cuts to good
I think one reason is that it has no deck.
Your course doesn't have a slope mower like a Ventrac?
mind sharing where you get your tracks and what model number they are?
Wow thats a pretty cool handy mower : )
What kind of generator you use? How long that runs on battery power only?
How steep of a slope are we talking here? I mow very steep with my zero turn I like when it is wet drifting all day.
can you please tell me which motor controller are you using?
Whats the weight of the mower

How much is it
Can you adjust the hight?
You will blow up the taîga again ?
Are you in the Tampa area?
THAT MOWER IS COOL, NOW IF THEY CAN COME UP WITH ONE THAT READS THE TERRAIN AND GOES ON ITS OWN. THAT WOULD BE COOL TO SEE
What is the Maximum Speed?
Tracks are an inherent problem. They knock down and knap a percentage of the the grass but still cool though!
zoom out, i want to see more than the bot. like how well it actually cuts grass.
It is good for cutting lawns in mine fields.
how much did it cost when complete?
That is just brilliant.
how mush does it cost
Where did you guys get the tracks from?
Where can you buy one of these Please?

great work! Nikola Tesla would be so proud

were do you purchase these at?
crop circles!!!! ok seriously i want one i have a small yard and it is so awesome
Great idea but you don't show it actually mowing. Either that or it doesn't mow very well. But I love the idea if you could only make on that is much bigger . This one seems like a fun toy.
lol it's not even cutting anything
Looks good
for some reason ive watched three videos of people cutting grass
how the hell did i end up here!?
why dont they make zero turns with belts
put a wheel cover for both the sides .. insides as well .. they will speed up and wont ever jam .. :) jjust a thought... maybe make a robotic one ..
great idea but it looks like the quality of cut suffers
great idea but doesnt look like it mows very well
im pretty sure that is just an alternator off a car.... belt drive and shielded right it will be fine.
What is "hybrid" about this "hybrid GOAT"?
cool, now if could just cut the grass better.
Wow...if it is to steep for a regular mower..use a weedeater...cool idea but not practical at all...maybe for some old person who like to play with remote controlled toys.

Mow from inside where it's nice, then go ride your bike with full energy!
NEEDS A SEAT ON IT SO I CAN RIDE ON IT !
seems pointless
🖒🖒🖒
If your mowing a lawn in a mine field then great, for the average home owner, not so great. Just buy a riding mower with a cup holder.
Questo coso non taglia un cazzo
cool check out mine!
