This must be one very busy person with a dog who can't hold it at all. While the outside was rough, the interior must never get vacuumed or cleaned until they bring it to you. I am glad this customer is loyal and trusts that you do such a thorough job. That shows their confidence and admiration for your work. You’re right, Mitch. Unless you eliminate the source of the smell, it’s going nowhere. It doesn’t matter how many times to try to explain this, some people still insist on buying air fresheners to get rid of the smell because they don’t want to spend the money to actually get rid of the source of the smell. Air fresheners don’t get rid of smells, they only mask them.
i bought my car from a heavy smoker, and i've washed that car several times, scrubbed every seat and carpet i don't smell it anymore, i guess my nose just got used to it, but anyone that goes into my car says they can still smell it, in this case, the source of the smell is substances from the cigarettes that are still deep inside the seats and carpets?
He doesn't...(unless he hid that part from viewers)just basic toilet & sink.He could always use the undercarriage 2 take a shower. Like a Dr. he should of had 1 put n,stead of bring'n the nasty clothes back 2 his house.Maybe n the home gradge he's got 1 built n there next 2 his hottub.I bet it's outside on the back porch/ patio.💥✔
Love your products. Used to only use chemical guys cleaning products on my classic car. Your stuff works so much better. Smells better and is not as harsh on factors and leather.

I noticed that too but my first thought was that you should put on your grungy socks, old ones that you’re about ready to throw away, not your nice ones.

And you can get MANY people to say this, or admit this, but, they will continue to buy stupid air fresheners, trying to mask the smell. Oh- and there IS a second way to get the smell out of the car... WALK YOUR DOG MORE OFTEN SO IT DOESN'T HAVE TO GO IN THE CAR. Again, the behavior that has to change is that of the people. (Dogs obviously have a much much better sense of smell that people do, so, the odds are, any dog that gets into the car, is going to know "this is wheres I peez!!!"
I will never understand - though I’ve had an elderly incontinent dog - how this vehicle was left go to this awful condition. But as always, you restored it to excellent condition! Great work on a very smelly job! 👏😊

Great detail Mitch. The driver seat fabric and color is an exact match to my Fiesta SE broken drivers seat. But it’s configured differently. Good news is that when I bring my car into the auto upholstery shop to fix the seat

You never know the other side. Could be a dog walker that has multiple dogs in the car every day, and no time to deep clean every time a dog pees in there. Just sayin’. Yes 4 years is a lot, but maybe they are so used to it, it doesn’t bother them until then. 🤷🏼♂️

Car manufacturers don't bother with higher quality materials as they know most owners neglect their cars and use them like a light switch. So, might as well save that money as it won't make a difference at the end.

Well it's in north america so owning a car is kind of a must for 95% of people or they basically become a second class citizen, so people like the owner who clearly doesn't care about the car are forced to have one.

Anyone noticed the missig nut on or even the whole bolt on the passenger side front wheel? Tyres are worn down, rust on structural elements, missing bolt... this person should have his license revoked...
How can you afford a DETAIL but you can't just get a car that's not falling apart, or just FIX the parts that are busted? I got a new car.... Well, new to me, but I replaced my crappy old car and I don't make detailing money. Like it mystifies me how people can let their cars get THIS dirty. I get the car not being spotless all the time, I live in California we literally have DUST blowing through our air regularly, it's physically impossible to keep our cars all that clean for long on the outside without a garage. But seriously, the interiors are just mind bogglingly disgusting.
First of all the tires still have tread second of all if one single lug nut missing is that unsafe there'd be 30% more accidents and third thats literal surface rust there is nothing wrong with it and it will not kill you

The surface rust, you called it so, isn't surface the still rusts from inside out, so it's nearly rusted through. Quick question, ive noticed black dots and speckles near the wheels on the body of my car. Im not sure if its tar or some hardened dirt but it doesnt come off with soap and sponge. What tools or chemicals should i use to clean them off without damaging the paint? Thanks!

After doing a thorough cleaning such as this, have you ever experimented with using an ozone generator to get rid of the urine/other smells that are otherwise impossible to get rid of?

As a detailer at a car rental place, I can confirm that half the time I encounter cars just like this pretty much every day if not almost always, but at the same time it’ll make me glad that I have a second person helping me out(another detailer but sometimes it may be my boss if he needs it right away) Edit: just to clarify, I have been there for 4 yrs 2 months and 13 days so trust me I’ve seen it all

Noseblindness. After a while, you don't smell it. We need water vapor to smell something, so if the car dries out, the smell won't be as bad.

After doing a thorough cleaning such as this, have you ever experimented with using an ozone generator to get rid of the urine/other smells that are otherwise impossible to get rid of?
He uses one on certain cars that really need it.

Thank GOD you dont have smell-a-vision! I've had smelly cars, from cigarette smoke, but PEE smell lingers. Tells the pet it's okay to do business in the car. Great job as usual, Mitch.

As a detailer at a car rental place, I can confirm that half the time I encounter cars just like this pretty much every day if not almost always, but at the same time it’ll make me glad that I have a second person helping me out(another detailer but sometimes it may be my boss if he needs it right away)
Edit: just to clarify, I have been there for 4 yrs 2 months and 13 days so trust me I’ve seen it all
