I've recently started collecting coin I'm still a beginner and watched many video's and you are by far the batter commentator not that these other people aren't good I just enjoy your videos. Thank you for the information
I like your giveaways, some really great stuff being given away. It would be great to find some of these coins in circulation. Thanks for all the videos and info you provide.
I have a 1915 S Barber dime I found about 35 years ago in a creek-bed where several houses washed away in a flood including one with "one of the best coin collections in the state". It has never had a high value even though it is in very good shape and there were only 960,000 minted. I've been waiting all these years and still am, one day that dime has to be worth a nickel. I'll be watching and waiting with anticipation.
I have few dimes and no barber dimes. But the first look at a barber dime in this video immediately brought me back to Sunday morningsl when my Dad would take me and my 3 sisters to the dimestore after after Sunday School to spend a dime on penny candy (apiece!). It was a great treat and a wonderful time with my Dad. I'll admit I'd like to keep this memory close, so woud like to be in the drawing. Thanks JB.
Love the video i found my first 1911 S in my back yard in garden last year my 11 year old and my self now coin collect metal detect and coin roll hunt error's and key date's we have found some cool coins
There was a period of time when some of the Digger channels on Facebook were posting "Barber or Seated" quizzes by showing only the reverse of a coin. I would ALWAYS "guess" right. I haven't seen anymore of those quizzes. I like BOTH Barber and Seated. Keep up the great videos.
I found my 1899 O barber dime in the middle of a freshly disked up cotton field in Uriah Alabama. I actually had a metal detector with me but I was carrying it on my shoulder because I hadn’t made it to the place where I had planned to use it. I just happen to walk over it and seen it on top of the soil. Prettt amazing , that was about 25 years ago
I love barber dimes, getting my first slabbed barber dime was a huge accomplishment for me. Looking at some with blast white or about uncirculated is very pleasing.
I have only managed two Barber dimes. I have only just begun Collecting so I feel fortunate to have two in my collection in 1903 I and a 1904 With no visible mint mark not sure the value of either of course but happy to have them in my collection each are in good condition I would say very good condition love your videos happy to be a subscriber look forward to the next video thank you very much
It sure be nice if the mint for a year would go back and do a coin with silver in it once more for a short run, although it would not make the streets and pockets of many, Sure still would be nice... I personally am getting tired of the state quarter series myself and would love to see some good ole iconic artwork back on the coinages.
I only have a couple Barber dimes and both are culls from a 90% bin. Thanks for the chance at winning a nice looking Barber with alot more detail than I currently have. GL&HH everyone!
Love the Barber dime. I found my first one ever metal detecting at an 1800s farm house in Nh last fall. It was an 1892, silver coins always look great when they come out of the ground!
Great video, J & B. I have some dimes and quarters and I just love these coins. I can never get enough of them. Thanks for sharing. All the Best ~ Shirl ♥
Great video and info as always I just started collecting these dimes last week I got my first one 1908s very fine condition and would love to add another one to my collection thanks again for the video 😀
I collect Barbers -- dimes, quarters & half dollars. I love the design and have been collecting them the last couple of years. Maybe this contest will be an "add" to my collection!
I need a 1910 barber to help my barber collection be full and i'm only a few away from having them, it has been tremendously hard work, but i believe it will pay of when i have completed the series, plus your the one that got me addicted to them, 😆! Thank you for that, it gave me something to look forward to in collecting!
I've only managed to get one barber dime as of yet. But I was lucky enough that it was from pocket change. Sadly my LCS tends to like that coin a little more than they should and they put the price tag on them to reflect that.
Thank you very much for this info Barber dimes are absolutely gorgeous I love the way they designed coins way back when I would love to win one of these have a great day
The 1906, Barber dime in this video (I know it's 2019) where is it and is it available for purchase? It's beautiful and after watching this video I believe that these coins are going to be my favorite to collect. I don't have any of them. Thanks for the great informative videos. The old guy in Florida 😃😎
I was metal detecting a torn out street when I found my first and only barber dime... after detecting it, you could actually see the edge of the dime peeking out of the sand fill that was last exposed who-knows-when.
Very nice coins. I have a lot of many kind of coins but I need to grade them. Do you know any grader I can count on truthfully? Can any one provide me with a name please? I live in Canada.Thank you
Nice GAW JB! Barber Dimes are lovely and certainly don't get the love they deserve. Do you know why the New Orleans mintmark is an O rather than an N? All the other Mints use the first letter of the placename?
I'm not a huge fan of Barber coins but I think some are still worth getting . I've got a 1915 Barber quarter in VG condition .A Barber half and a dime in fair condition.Would like to get a half and dime in VF condition

When I was about 12 years old I found an 1899o barber dime in a cotton field across the road in front of my house. I had my metal detector, on my shoulder walking across the field to meet my friend and his mother and sisters. We were going to look for anything we could find. I saw the dime lying on top of the soil.I had not even began to use my metal detector or even look for anything I just happen to look down right at it as I walked to meet them. The field had recently been disced: it was on top of fresh clean brown Alabama dirt: that was about 20 years ago.
