    You really did show off the benefits of washes, I see you use oil paints, so have you ever tried doing a dot fade with oils? I have been switching over to Gouache Paints it is like a hybrid water color to make my streaks I use a Grainer brush works wonderfully. Your rust patches were nice, you said you had some rust buckets. All in all a very informative video.

      i haven't tried doing oil washes yet but i did watch a video of someone that did and the results were spectacular. i've heard of the Gouache Paints, but i've never used them. this might be another option for the weathering arsenal so i'll have to check it out next time i'm at the craft store looking for useful train things!
