    That was a great way to show how these work on canvas. I did try quick flower on white cotton. I have the pans. I was surprised how pretty they turned out. I thought it would be cool to do small panels for a quilt with hand painted fabric. Maybe one of these days. Have a great day Stephanie ❤

    FYI: placing a piece of fine sandpaper under your fabric does wonders in holding the fabric still while coloring on it… an old appliqué quilter’s trick 😁 Thanks for sharing ❤

    Thank you so much for showing such an inclusive comparison of these products. I am really not familiar with Inktense but I’ve seen you use them several times and I love the way they play. Each seems to have their own value and each seems to have different pros and cons depending upon the substrate you’re using them on. These lessons are so valuable, Stephanie, thank you so much for doing them and for showing us just how far outside of the box we can push our creativity! ❤

    Thanks for sharing this information, it's very helpful! I like the way the pencils look the best, maybe because that had the most product applied...? Is the inktense product permanent on fabric??

    • @DeliberatelyCreative
      @DeliberatelyCreative  Рік тому +2

      Thank you for watching and commenting! Yes, it is permanent on fabric- I would hit it with an iron and wash it in cold water. It is so fun to use the Inktense in many ways.

      I like seeing your comparisons of the three. I have had the pans for a couple years. I painted canvas shoes and they are bright and vibrant. So I was surprised by the outcome for you on your bag. I must have used more product? I recently bought the pencils but haven’t used them yet. I chose them over the blocks for ease of use & more control. I want to paint fabric blocks that my sister will then turn into a quilt. Great video- thank you!

    I have heard about these for years and just bought a small set to try them out. Q: If your color comes out too dark, can you lift some of it out while it’s still wet? Thank you for the excellent video!

    • @DeliberatelyCreative
      @DeliberatelyCreative  7 місяців тому +2

      Yes, while it’s wet you can lift and scrub out much of the color. But you can never get it to compliment go back to the paper /fabric color- it will always stain

    • @DeliberatelyCreative

      If you are doing this on fabric you can use a fabric medium as your wetting agent instead of water.
      If you need to use water don wet all the way to your outlines. Stay back 1/8-1/4”.
