- Babakau is a Fijian recipe which is their version of a pancake, served in the morning for breakfast with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Now I know most would say this doesn't look like a pancake at all but to my Fijian viewers they know very well this hits home. I never thought of drizzling lime/lemon juice on top of the pancake but the recipe called for it. It tasted amazing, the sour taste of the lemon juice somewhat enhanced the flavor and the sweet aftertaste of the icing sugar which was delicious. Vinaka vaka levu (Thank you) and hope you all enjoy this wonderful recipe.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup water (warm)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon yeast
2 1/2 cup flour
pinch of salt
3 1/2 cup canola oil (frying)
icing sugar (dust the pancakes)
Lemon/Lime slices (drizzle on pancake)

You forgot the icing sugar. Goes together with the lemon if you don't have jam around, not too much, preference. This is what smarty pants BRAXTON_YT should have said (useless comment).
