He needs proper rock slippers. Also I used to do rock climbing though do not for am minute pretend I was anywhere near his level, but one practises a route and after a while can be fast as one knows where all the holds are. I suspect the route he chose he knows very well.

That's absolutely nuts. He is driving crazy nut out of my body. It gives me goosebumps. He should have a safety harness attached no matter how good he is. I am afraid we will loose him one day.
