Don't forget, Shiv and Tom were widely known to be separated, and I think she told Nan that they were getting divorced only to influence Nan, and since it worked, she has to actually go through with it
ok, so this is probably foolishly of me, but i decided to get my hopes up. the scenario you described is a great opportunity for Shiv to finally choose Tom over her quest for power either way, i hope Tom turns out okay. he might have become my favorite character over the years
I overlooked Tom letting shiv know about the meet up and that’s how she found out about the possible talks. Don’t know how I missed it. This show is so good all around it’s easy to miss small details.
Nan Pierce couldn't believe her luck. She has these 3 clowns arrive, offering her 10 billion bucks. Her family couldn't believe what they were hearing. So she cuts off "new bids" immediately, realising she has to get this deal nailed down immediately, before someone with a brain tells the 3 kids that they're crazy. And Shiv, of course, thinks she's a mastermind of business. Curiously, Roman sees right through Nan, and questions Shiv's comprehension of the value of money, but goes ahead with the scheme anyway, because he's Roman. He's smart, but he's weak.
What a banger of a first episode!! Absolutely loved the biding war over the phone , and so happy to have these characters back in our lives for a bit longer
i was finishing up a rewatch of season 3 yesterday, and thought i had run out of time. forgot that season 3 only had 9 episodes. this one is 10 though im pretty sure. so 9 great episodes left =)))
@@bridge4 it’s bittersweet that the show has to end this season! I wish it would continue but also it’s probably good not to stretch a show if it just wants to tell a compelling story. I’m very excited see what the next 9 episodes bring. It can only get more chaotic from here haha
I thought Logan’s conversation with Colin was him grappling with the possibility of the afterlife and reflecting on all the evils he’s done in his life. He was raised Catholic, and this episode was the first in a while he referenced that (he asks Kerry why a ‘churchman’ didn’t attend his birthday party), so as he approaches the end of his life he may be getting scared a bit, either of the black void and the legacy he’s leaving behind or of the possibility of some sort of comeuppance for all he’s done
he's grown in confidence, but he doesnt know anything about running even a group within the firm, let alone a division, or the firm itself he's quite the character tho. gotta love him!
Did tom purposely let shiv know about the pierce deal? I mean he is not stupid to just call his estranged wife and give away a secret deal? At the same time, I don’t think he has it in him to go behind Logan’s back… Quite a cliffhanger.
thats a great question. at first, i thought that might have played a part, but it didnt feel right. i lean heavily towards what Adrian said. that the primary and possibly sole reason was his fear of making things worse with Shiv, whom he still loves
I believe Tom is working with Matteson to take over Logans Company. I think they know each other, maybe both were related to some of those that died, and the deaths were covered up.
Sorry to hear you won’t be continuing. Look forward to more videos. Thought with the brevity of this one you were shooting for algorithm love. Journey before Destination.
@@bridge4 I’d have bet you cut that at 4:20 for the number as well. Didn’t realize it ended and when I saw it was 4:20, thought you cut it there as subconscious click bait lol.
I am waiting for - finally - Tom and Greg romantic scene! Tom was so jealous of Greg's new date he hooked up with on Logan's bday party. I think he can't admit to himself his feelings for Greg but he feels the best when he has Greg just for himself. Every time Greg is with someone he acts like jealous girlfriend, and the sexual energy is really felt. But I am voting for these two, they're actually my fav duo:))
i dont foresee see anything romantic between the two, but i do love them as a duo! yesterday, i rewatched an episode from last season where Greg asked Tom if he would take ownership of Greg's missteps, since Tom was going to go to jail anyway. (Season 3 Episode 6 ... it's a solid episode for a broken Tom)
@@bridge4 Oh yeah I love that episode. But then, each episode is phenomenal. Really not feeling that supressed gay energy between them? Okay, maybe it's just me. Let's see if in this final season they reveal somethin in this matter between Tom and cousin Greg:D Enjoy all the episodes left- and be ready for new ep in season 4, it's👌💙
If Tom and Shiv divorce, then I feel there will be many times, that he may fall out of grace with Logan. This could get him ousted from the company. Do you think Tom set up Greg, to confess his sex crimes to Logan, in hopes of getting him in trouble?
Okay so here it is, in trying to beat their father the kids have become like him while Logan himself tries to embrace his mortality and contemplate his mistakes. Logan created 3 monsters who are only causing his and their own downfall in the bigger picture, a fact that was used by the Pierce lady who knew the kids would overbid just to beat their father. Similarly we might see many others manipulating this strife further and the kids realising it too late.
Don't forget, Shiv and Tom were widely known to be separated, and I think she told Nan that they were getting divorced only to influence Nan, and since it worked, she has to actually go through with it
thats a great point. since their deal is not yet done, Shiv might feel pressured to go through with it. ugh thats terrible if true
ok, so this is probably foolishly of me, but i decided to get my hopes up. the scenario you described is a great opportunity for Shiv to finally choose Tom over her quest for power

@@bridge4 I think Tom is working with Matteson, buy out Logan. I think Tom has been trying to throw Shiv a life line for a couple seasons now.
Tom's actor has so much range! When he gets serious I feel it!

yeah, im with ya. i would've love another season or 2, but once i heard that this is the last one, it didn't shock me. and now it feels right.

Great insight!! It was short scene but actually meaningful one! I hope more people realized this.
ooohh the churchman line. both times i watched the episode, that felt odd. and i was too slow to connect that to his restaurant chat. good call!
I feel like Greg being endgame was a meme in the community but like.... he grows more powerful each day
he's grown in confidence, but he doesnt know anything about running even a group within the firm, let alone a division, or the firm itself
he's quite the character tho. gotta love him!
@@bridge4 he do know when tom was the head of atn, it was greg who did all the job
He is Emperor Claudius.
there were scenes of Greg in his office, unfortunately, we have no idea what he was doing there on his computer. my guess is instagram lol
I could see it happening and the whole show ends on him being some rich, powerful, social awkward, idiot like Elon 😂
greg coming for tom spot, he will not hesitate to betray him
Did tom purposely let shiv know about the pierce deal? I mean he is not stupid to just call his estranged wife and give away a secret deal? At the same time, I don’t think he has it in him to go behind Logan’s back… Quite a cliffhanger.
I think it just shows that his weakness is his feelings for her, no matter how hard he’s trying to be on the “winning” side

Dang UA-cam for not telling me about this sooner!!!!

i never have a target length for videos. i just say what i have to say, whether thats 3 minutes or 30 lol

Logan is going to delay the merger of Gojo and Waystar so that the kids cannot get access to the capital they need to buy Pierce for $10B.
😢

I have not watched a single episode of this show. Maybe one day I might give it a go -;))
its not for everyone, but personally, i loooooove this show. the serious drama as well as the humor. the musical score, the acting. its all top class

Yeah, maybe he can make his news network more like cnn & msnbc to help improve the world 🤣🤣🤣
B...
Last season, gutted.
yeah, i hear ya. at least its a full 10 episodes as opposed to other shows which do 8 episode seasons =))
