Thank you so much for showcasing some of our most interactive and engaging features, such as Virtual Reality Field Trips and Draw It! We are so happy to partner with so many amazing companies, from Teaching Tolerance to Common Sense Education and so many more. You’re amazing and we are so excited to have you as part of the Nearpod family!
Awesome video! My district has purchased a Nearpod subscription and I’ve never used it, but you have encouraged me to take a look and see what I can find!👏🏻
Okay this is cool. I enjoyed watching this video and you published this in 2019. Funny you said in the end that this is Thanksgiving break because I am watching you on Thanksgiving Day 2020.
I’ve just started using Nearpod as a second year Middle School Science teacher two weeks ago. During virtual teaching, this is such a huge time saver! Yes to Nearpod!
Megan, this is great advice about Nearpod, but remember that only certain subscription levels have "free" included access to the lessons already created in their library. I've been using Nearpod for about five years now and brought it to my district who decided to subscribe for all the teachers in our district (100,000+ students). I have some lessons on Nearpod. My favorite is a US history lesson on Ida B. Wells and lynching in the twentieth century called "Without Sanctuary". It incorporates poetry, music, Internet, and video, then students reflect about what they've learned.
Thank you for your information! I am a new teacher and just started using nearpod. When we use it my students love it but I didn’t realize how MANY resources are available! Like WOW! I definetly need to deep dive into Nearpod now haha
Thank you so much for this encouraging video! I’ve recently, unexpectedly, begun to teach tween girls online. I’m loving it! I normally work with adults. I’ve been introduced to Nearpod and am trying to figure out how to use it. I want to make my classes more interactive since they’re all online. They’re discussion based and I love the idea of adding interactive parts to our discussion, especially since the space we create is a virtual one. I hadn’t thought of looking at their lessons but I can see the value in learning them in order to understand the power of the tool we have. Look forward to more of your videos.
Love NEARPOD! My students enjoy the lessons I create. I teach elementary, 3rd-6th grade. The collaboration board is great. I have the platinum membership but would love the gold! Thanks for sharing!
I just discovered nearpod. Are you using it more now and creating your own lessons? I teach Spanish so they don’t have any free lessons I can use for lower level Spanish!!
Does your school have a librarian or library media specialist? If so, why do they not do the digital citizenship piece in the library? I'm all the way in Georgia, so I'm sure things are very different in California. I do most of the digital citizenship, research skills, etc in the library at my middle school.
Hi, I sent you a little gift in the mail. It was a teaching magazine I thought you would like in Oct. 2019, however it was returned back to me today :( Just thought you should know. Yes I verified the address and I put the correct PO box on it.
Mimi L oh noooo I’m so sorry about that! 😭 I just went to the post office to check and they shut down my PO Box for non-payment but I never got any notification about any of it! I just paid to get it re-opened but I’m so sorry! I hate when you try to do something nice and it doesn’t even work, that’s the worst!!

Kids and I love Nearpod. I’ve only used it with my own stuff and not the paid account but it’s still great

Thanks. I keep meaning to use nearpod in class.
I can confirm that High school Jrs love Nearpod. I make most of my own presentations but I have the basic teacher account.
Also PearDeck as a google classroom add-on has similar features.
I am going to sign up for the free version to check it out. I commented on your Instagram post and am so excited about this giveaway! 🤞🏼
Hi absolutely love your videos lots of love from India

We're so glad you're loving Nearpod!! The collaborate board is such a great way to engage every student in the lesson!
Thank you!! I would love to upgrade to platinum but it cost too much at this time. I have the gold. Great Platform and easy to create lessons.
We only have the free version at my school it’s annoying cuz I want to use it more
Going to ask my district about it
