Nearpod is such a powerful tool. Thank you for showing us the many ways to use it. I really like the way you demonstrate how to build lessons based on both teacher and student needs.
Thank you so much for your explanation on how to use nearpod. It’s simple and easy to understand. The brilliant part is we can see from both sides, as a teacher and student🙏🏼.
Sam, I've learned A LOT from your video content and all of the EdTech tools that you explore. I really appreciate the work you're doing. Transitioning to so much virtual instruction this year was a huge challenge but I learned a lot. Thanks!
I used Pear Deck throughout the school year, and never got around to trying Nearpod since they appear to have similar functions. I really like your video. It gave me a better idea of what I can do with this tool. Thanks!
Woah! So much to think about. I'm a third grade teacher and have been part of your "group" of learners this year. I am trying to figure out how to revamp my hyperdoc on the Regions of California using Nearpod instead. I'd like to integrate the virtual field trip function. You've given me tons to think about.
Question - I know teachers can use Nearpod to embed questions within videos, but can I assign a video to my students and have them embed questions into them, similar to EdPuzzle Project?
Good afternoon. Previewed the lesson with Kami document and I had success with the use of Kami inside Nearpod. Could I share the link with you to see if you are able to do the same?
Hmmm, I think it's just because I'm building the slides in sequential order as opposed to going back and looking back at slides I had already made. Not sure if that answers your question though.
@@NewEdTechClassroom I think I figured it out. I am so used to inserting my own slide decks into Pear Deck that I hadn't thought of Near Pod as a place to build out the series of slides/activities.
You only need to use a session code if you are a student, in which case your teacher gives it to you. If you are a teacher, make sure you choose to login as a teacher, not a student.

Thank you so much for the great lesson!Sam when I present the nearpod lesson am not able to see my students so can you clarify that
Thanks for watching! Are you unable to see their responses even after they have entered answers to questions?
How are you moving so easily from one slide to another? I keep having to exit and save and then reopen it. I feel like I'm not getting it!

@@jeaniecarpenter2592 Glad to hear that! And yes, you can just build slides directly in Nearpod!
Hi Kary
Brilliant (as usual)
NearPod or PearDeck?
Pros & Cons
Can you please do a comparison
Is one better than the other for mobiles (Android & iOS)?
Hey Harry, we actually do have a video comparing the two of them! - ua-cam.com/video/z9EUKvvsNW8/v-deo.html
