Hi Derek, echoing previous comments, the show was superbly staged and there was an excellent turnout as far as I could see. Great selection of cars in all shapes and sizes, there can be no complaints about a lack of choice. Pricing becoming more competitive too, though the Toyota hybrids were bucking that trend!! Have my EV3 GT line ordered for a while now, finally got to drive an Earth at the weekend, it's a superb EV and the comfort and refinement is outstanding!
Hi Derek,,,, First of all thanks for organising a great nevo ev show,,, really enjoyed it,,,, ,, i had a look at the ev3 at the Drogheda motor show,, very impressive fit and finish,,, great range and a nice size,,,,, loads of tech,,,,, i actually bought the earth 3 spec with large battery,,,, just like where Kia are going with this ev line up they now have,,,,
Great show in the RDS thanks would love to get an EV3 but i'm being offered really low money on my two year old Niro EV by my dealer which makes changing very expensive
This is a valuable post that potential Kia buyers should heed. Problem is that buyers like to change every 2/3 years and this is a big issue, explains why sales have dropped as current drivers won't take the hit on the change.
Almost certainly my next car. Perfect fot for what i need and likely to go with thr big battery too. Dont really need thwt much range but it id very nice to have
Still annoyed that we could not make it to the show ( was unwell unfortunately ), as since we have the EV9 my wife has a huge eye on the EV3 and would want it instead of the Tesla. I think Kia is on a great path in building EV`s. Range should be also great in the big Battery Model. Can`t wait for your coast to coast :)
@NevoEVReviewIreland thanks, yes our dealer got it already, will definitely let wifey test drive. We will make it 2025 to the show for sure ( if there is one 😉 )
Love they used Hankook iON EVO tyres on it for quiet & efficient ride. Unfortunate they don't have 17's as an option on all 3 trim levels for best range & efficiency. Far too much piano black even if it's on the outside. Unlike the majority of EV's I've seen looks like Kia well Hyundai family have the dead zone gap between brake pedal & foot rest so those of us in the taller category can stretch out our leg and not get cramped up. Curious to see dimensions and compare to new Kona.
Still prefare the Niro. The EV3 is even worse for storage then it up front, the climate control screen is poor placement by KIA. Other then that i might be tempted. Will they leave out the sunroof, memory seats, insulated glass and harman kardon just like they did with the Irish Niro EV and no GT Line S here. I will likely go with a nearly new EV6 AWD from the UK for my next car if i sell my Niro privately unless it's offered here when the facelift comes out.

Thanks very much John. Where did you get to drive it? Looking forward to seeing them on the roads

Great show at the weekend. This EV3 is exactly what I was waiting for in the market.
Would you be tempted?

My eNiro depreciated by €15k over 3 years, crazy money I know, but not too bad as cars go nowadays.
Surprised the eNiro is being offered so low as the used market for them is strong I thought
Very nice car. Good quality package.
I think so too

Sometimes better looking at it rather than looking for it

Get well soon Mark and the EV3 landed in dealers this week so no better time to go for a testdrive

Hi Derek, Any word on the EV5 in this part of the world yet?
Does the sunroof open and is there a shade for it?
Does the EV3 Earth 3 have a manual boot opening ?. Watching the review it looked like it opened electronically ?
Hi can you confirm if irish gt line gets the blind spot monitor when indicating as in your video.thanks.subscribed.
Thanks Noel, best check with your local Kia dealer to be sure
Im impressed with this car. Saw it at the show. Price puts it into some stiff competition.

Similar pricing to the ID4
