  • We are back on one of the big 4 lakes in Mississippi. It is early in the spawn and the fish are just beginning to run shallow. We fish a stretch of ironwoods and finally find a spot that is holding a good number of fish. It didn't take long to put 15 on the stringer.

    I’m from Alabama where we do most of our crappie fishing outta the boat under docks and stuff like that. Seeing y’all do it this way is really interesting. Especially the fact that wading isn’t scaring them. What kinda water is that? Moving flood water? Oxbow?

      We fish the Corp of engineer lakes in north Mississippi. They are flood control lakes so the water fluctuates in them throughout the year!

      Thank you. No sir. Not against braid, but we just never use it. 1/8 oz jig heads

    Awesome fishing. Quick question with so many alligators now how do you defend yourself if an alligator charges you? That’s a real concern in the south. They are I. Attack mode more than I have ever seen in 40 years!

      Thank you! Luckily there are very few, if any, gators around where we fish! We’ve heard of people seeing them in these lakes, but we spend a lot of time on the water and have never seen one.

    How long is that rod is that a one piece or two piece

    • @3kproductions269
      @3kproductions269  Рік тому

      10 foot! 2 piece. Any time we wade we use a 10 foot rod. Occasionally when we find them in really thick places we use 8 footers.
